Over 40 million people have already cast their ballot for the November election, and that turnout appears to be favoring Democrats.
Forty-one point one million people have voted early, representing just under 40% of the total number of votes in 2016. . .
The early ballots collected so far appear to be mostly from registered Democrats. However, only 19 states release data on the party affiliation of early voters.
Of the voters in those states, over 19 million people have voted. Fifty-two percent of those voters are registered Democrats. Just over 26% are registered Republicans. Over 21% did not have a party affiliation.
While there is a nearly even split on the list of 19 between states that went red in 2016 and those that went blue, the blue states had larger populations. Of the 10 states on the list that went Republican in 2016, only South Dakota had a higher percentage of Republicans voting early than Democrats. Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden (D) praised the Commission on Presidential Debate’s (CPD) decision to mute the microphone of the opposing candidate at the start of each segment and added that he believes there should be “more limitations.”
“So for the debate on Thursday, what do you think of this new muting the mic rule?” WISN’s Adrienne Pedersen asked Biden in a Tuesday interview.
“I think it’s a good idea. I think there should be more, more, limitations on us not interrupting one another,” Biden said, attributing his stance to what transpired during the first presidential debate.
“If you noticed last time, according to Chris Wallace, he interrupted the president and me 148 times. I think that’s right, he interrupted Mike, the president interrupted. Mike, I mean, excuse me, Chris Wallace and me 148 times,” Biden said, originally misstating his line. . .
Despite Biden’s appeal to the first debate, it was he who set the precedent of interrupting in the first debate, as detailed by Breitbart News. Even so, Wallace, who interrupted Trump several times himself, remained in denial, stating that Trump bore “primary responsibility for what happened” during the debate. A new report released by the Department of Education shows multiple U.S. universities accepted funding from China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other “foreign adversaries,” but did not report all they received.
The findings, reported by the Associated Press, are part of an ongoing investigation by the department spurred by the Trump Administration to crack down on foreign theft of intellectual property, research, and technology in higher education. “Potential enforcement against specific institutions” will come from the Department of Justice.
While the U.S. requires universities to “disclose gifts and contracts of $250,000 or more from foreign sources,” the report suggests that 12 schools of “the nation’s largest and richest universities have aggressively pursued and accepted foreign money,” including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Georgetown.
Together, the universities reportedly failed to “disclose a combined $6.5 billion in foreign funding that was previously unreported.”
According to the report, many of the universities maintained financial relationships with previously identified national security threats such as Chinese tech company Huawei and another which “had ties directly to the Chinese Communist Party.” (Read more from “Top U.S. Universities Caught Underreporting Foreign Funding” HERE)
Twitter is doing everything it can to interfere in the election and help Joe Biden and the Democrats win in two weeks. The social media company was caught red-handed on Wednesday running interference on Republican fundraising efforts but not similar fundraising efforts on behalf of Democratic politicians.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee is calling out Twitter for restricting the retweets of WinRed, the GOP’s fundraising platform. WinRed is the Republican alternative to the Democrats’ fundraising platform, ActBlue. Twitter is running interference on retweets of WinRed’s links to donate to Republican candidates but not links by ActBlue to donate to Democrats.
Big Tech isn’t just stifling conservatives’ voices, it is hindering donations to them via @WinRed. This bias is outrageous! https://t.co/p6cp9xTGh3
Twitter has unveiled temporary speech codes to suppress free speech in the runup to the November elections. Starting Oct. 20, users are now prompted to add comments before retweeting posts. Twitter is also adding labels and warnings to tweets it deems misleading or lacking “proper” context. The company has also removed tweets recommended by people who users don’t follow. Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee will reportedly boycott Thursday’s committee vote on Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
Democrats will fill their seats in the committee with life-sized posters of people who could be hurt if the Affordable Care Act were to be repealed, according to HuffPost. Democrats have been saying if Barrett is confirmed, she will be the one to give the deciding vote on repealing the Affordable Care Act. . .
Two Dem aides confirm @jbendery’s report that the 10 Democratic senators on the Judiciary Committee will boycott the committee vote on Amy Coney Barrett tomorrow
In early October, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats will not “supply quorum” for votes in the Senate as a way to try and block the confirmation of Barrett before the election.
A quorum is the minimum number of members present either in a committee or the entire Senate to hold votes, Fox News reported. The quorum in the Senate is 51 members. There are 22 members on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is in charge of the confirmation process, and nine members are required for a quorum in the committee, including at least two from the minority party, according to Fox News. On Tuesday night, hard-left Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) joined a group of gamers in a live-streamed event that was organized by Hasan Piker, a vlogger who infamously said in 2019 that “America deserved 9/11.”
In August 2019, Piker, a Young Turks commentator, reviewing a clip of Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) talking to podcast host Joe Rogan, mocked Crenshaw on a Twitch live stream, ranting, “This guy has the understanding of foreign policy of, like, a 12-year-old. What the f***? What the f*** is wrong with this dude? Didn’t he go to war and like literally lose his eye because some mujahideen — a brave f***ing soldier — f***ed his eye hole with their d**?” He added, “Isn’t that how he f***ing lost his dumba** eye, because he got his f***ing eye hole f***ed by a brave soldier?”
After he was slammed for his remarks, Piker tweeted, “Americas foreign policy decisions has lead (sic) to 911. this would’ve been a controversial thing to say in 2001. stop being a f***ing idiot. We supplied arms to and trained bin laden. we destabilized the region long before 911. and now we’re stuck in perpetual war, which dan crenshaw was trying to justify in that clip. it’s exactly this kind of attitude that has sent thousands of young men and women overseas to die.”

By Washington Examiner. Rudy Giuliani told Newsmax on Tuesday that he sent alleged sexually explicit materials involving underage girls from Hunter Biden to the Delaware State Police.
The text message and photos discussed by Giuliani, a personal lawyer to President Trump and former New York City mayor, appear to have been found in a laptop hard drive that purportedly belonged to the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, who is now the Democratic presidential nominee.
“There’s a text message to [Hunter’s] father in which he says the following, and he’s discussing his sister-in-law, who, for quite some time, was his lover,” Giuliani said, setting up the background of the email. “He says, ‘She told my therapist that I was sexually inappropriate.’ This would be with an unnamed, 14-year-old girl.”
The “sister-in-law” to which Giuliani referred appears to be Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter’s brother Beau whom Hunter reportedly dated for a time until the spring of last year. Giuliani, who went on to read more of the message, added that it was “supported by numerous pictures of underage girls.”
The materials, said to be obtained by Giuliani earlier this month from a computer shop in Delaware, were first reported by the New York Post last week.

FBI in Possession of Hunter Biden’s Purported Laptop, Sources Say
By Fox News. The FBI is in possession of the laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden which contained emails revealing his foreign business dealings, including contacts in Ukraine and China, two senior administration officials told Fox News Tuesday.
The FBI declined to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation into the laptop or the emails, as is standard practice.
Further, Fox News has learned that the FBI and Justice Department officials concur with an assessment from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe that the laptop is not part of a Russian disinformation campaign targeting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. . .
Meanwhile, another senior federal law enforcement official told Fox News that the emails are “authentic.”
The FBI, in a letter to Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who is investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings, as well as the laptop in question, said that the bureau has “nothing to add at this time to the October 19th public statement by the Director of National Intelligence about the available actionable intelligence.” (Read more from “FBI in Possession of Hunter Biden’s Purported Laptop, Sources Say” HERE)
Here Are Hunter Biden’s Alleged Text Messages Giuliani Just Turned Over to the Delaware State Police
By Townhall. Rudy Giuliani handed over “very, very sensitive” text messages to the Delaware State Police that are allegedly from Hunter Biden to his father, former Vice President Joe Biden. In the text messages, Hunter allegedly accused his sister-in-law and former lover, Hallie Biden, of telling Hunter’s therapist that he was sleeping with a 14-year-old girl.
The alleged text messages said:
She told my therapist I was sexually inappropriate with [name redacted when she says that I face time naked with her and the reason I can’t have her out to see me is because I walk around naked smoking crack talking [redacted] girls on face time. When she was present she said that [redacted] never said anything like that but the bottom line is that she I create and caused a very unsafe environment for the kids. If it stopped there I would let it go but then [redacted] friend [redacted] sober coach.
According to Giuliani, there are “numerous pictures of underage girls” that accompany the text messages. He was “very uncomfortable” with the texts and pictures, which is why he turned them over to the Delaware State Police on Monday, the lawyer explained during a segment on Newsmax. . .
“There’s a memo in here that says that 10 percent of the money that was being racked up, that was $10 million a year, and then 50 percent of the profits, three Chinese communists, one of whom was a Chinese intelligence operative, that 10 percent of that was going to H for the ‘Big Guy.’ So, we’ve identified the ‘Big Guy’ several ways,” Giuliani explained. A new study conducted by researchers at the Penn State College of Medicine has found that a common dental item can inactivate human coronaviruses: mouthwash and oral rinses.
For the study, the results of which were published in the Journal of Medical Virology, researchers tested various oral and nasopharyngeal rinses — which included a 1% solution of baby shampoo, a neti pot, peroxide sore-mouth cleansers, and mouthwashes — to determine how well they inactivated human coronaviruses.
The baby shampoo solution, “which is often used by head and neck doctors to rinse the sinuses,” the researchers noted in a news release regarding the findings, was particularly effective; the solution inactivated “greater than 99.9% of human coronavirus after a two-minute contact time,” they said.
The mouthwash and oral rinses were also efficacious, they found: “Many inactivated greater than 99.9% of virus after only 30 seconds of contact time and some inactivated 99.99% of the virus after 30 seconds.”
More specifically, researchers “used a test to replicate the interaction of the virus in the nasal and oral cavities with the rinses and mouthwashes,” as the nasal and oral cavities are thought to be main points of entry for human coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, better known as COVID-19. Though the researchers didn’t specifically test SARS-CoV-2 in the study, the novel virus is genetically similar to the other human coronaviruses tested, leading the researchers to hypothesize that the results would be similar. A Maryland man is being held without bond and has been charged for firing a shotgun as Trump supporters drove by in a pickup truck while he put a Black Lives Matter sign in his yard. CBS Baltimore reports the incident happened Saturday afternoon in Kingsville, Maryland, a semi-rural community about 10 miles northeast of Baltimore.
Police have booked resident Douglas Kuhn with multiple charges, including assault.
Neal Houk and his son said they honked their horn at Kuhn, their neighbour, from their pickup truck, which has a large Trump sign in the back, as he was putting a Black Lives Matter sign up in his yard.
“He reached down. He had a shotgun right there, pulled it out and pointed it right at… and we were in disbelief. Next thing we heard was a shotgun blast,” Houk told CBS Baltimore. . .
No one was hurt, and it was unclear whether the round caused any damage to Houk’s vehicle, but police tracked down Kuhn as the man accused of firing the shot. They said they found a 12-gauge shotgun on his property and took the 50-year-old into custody. The Justice Department on Tuesday sued Google for abusing its dominance in online search and advertising — the government’s most significant attempt to protect competition since its groundbreaking case against Microsoft more than 20 years ago. . .
“Google is the gateway to the internet and a search advertising behemoth,” U.S. Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen told reporters. “It has maintained its monopoly power through exclusionary practices that are harmful to competition.”
Lawmakers and consumer advocates have long accused Google of abusing its dominance in online search and advertising. The case filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., alleges that Google uses billions of dollars collected from advertisers to pay phone manufacturers to ensure Google is the default search engine on browsers. That stifles competition and innovation from smaller upstart rivals to Google and harms consumers by reducing the quality of search and limiting privacy protections and alternative search options, the government alleges.
