Walmart Inc. has removed all guns and ammunition from the sales floors of its U.S. stores this week, aiming to head off any potential theft of firearms if stores are broken into amid social unrest.
The retail giant, which sells firearms in about half of its 4,700 U.S. stores, said customers can still purchase guns and ammunition upon request even though they are no longer on display.
“We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers,” a Walmart spokesman said. The company hasn’t decided how long the items will stay out of view, he said.
There have been days of violent protests and looting this week in Philadelphia after police fatally shot a Black man holding a knife in the city Monday.
In a letter to store managers Wednesday, Walmart asked staff to pull guns from shelves “due to the current unrest in isolated areas of the country and out of an abundance of caution.” (Read more from “Walmart Pulls Guns, Ammo Displays in U.S. Stores” HERE)

Seventy-five percent of people in the United States are worried about the possibility of violence on Election Day.
Released on Thursday, a new poll by Suffolk University and USA Today asked respondents, “How concerned are you about the possibility of violence on Election Day and afterwards?”
Just under 36% said they were very concerned, and 38.5% said they were somewhat concerned. Eleven percent said they were not very concerned, and another 11% said they weren’t concerned at all.
One thousand likely voters were interviewed between Oct. 23-27. The margin of error for the survey was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. (Read more from “Majority of Voters Worried About Election Day Violence” HERE)

We’re either right or wrong. There is no in-between here concerning the polls. These liberal outlets are oversampling Democrats, ignoring Trump Democrats, not accounting for fewer young voters turning out, and including way too many college-educated voters to craft a narrative that this country holds a D+15 electorate. It’s just not true. Trump Democrats are being ignored. Rural Republicans are being bypassed. The suburban cohort of the GOP—sure. They’re the squishiest and most vocally anti-Trump of the group. At Trump’s rallies, around 25 percent of the attendees didn’t vote in 2016. Some firms haven’t even moved off from registered voter samples. It’s a trainwreck. Biden is supposedly ahead by double-digits, which his camp says is not true. They’re admitting the polls are inflated, which could also be a ploy to keep their base anxious and ready to vote. They don’t want complacency to settle in like it did in 2016. Yet, the rule hasn’t changed: never underestimate anything when Trump is on the ballot and at the top of the ticket.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is also feeling good about President Trump’s chances for re-election. Appearing on Fox News’ Sean Hannity’s show, the former speaker said that the Electoral College result will shock the Left. He has Trump clinching another Electoral College landslide, nabbing 326 electoral votes (via RealClearPolitics):
Newt Gingrich said the left is going to be shocked by a Trump victory and said an electoral map showing the incumbent president with 326 electoral votes seems right to him in an interview Wednesday night with FNC’s Sean Hannity.
“He has a better likelihood than he did at this stage in 2016 when he was clearly behind and closing rapidly,” Gingrich said. “The people I trust the most, the pollsters that have been the most accurate over the last 5 or 6 years who seem to understand the dynamics of the age of Trump.”
“I saw today the first electoral college map that made sense to me and it showed Trump at 326 electoral votes plus,” Gingrich said. “I think that is probably about right. I think the left is going to be terribly shocked.”

Twitter suspended U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan for a post celebrating the success of the U.S. southern border wall keeping violent criminals from reaching American communities.
According to screenshots shared exclusively with The Federalist, Twitter locked Morgan’s account Wednesday afternoon for apparently violating platform rules governing “hateful conduct” after the commissioner attempted to tweet about the wall’s benefits.
“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease,” Twitter wrote in an email explaining the suspension. As is clear from the banned post’s text, the commissioner did not threaten anyone based on race, national origin, or anything else. . .
In recent weeks, the commissioner had been free to publish content on the site touting the accomplishments of border agents keeping America safe. It’s not clear what has recently changed in Twitter’s algorithm or policing that resulted in this post’s shutdown of his account when other similar posts went unblocked. The Department of Justice took the rare step to confirm the existence of an ongoing investigation Thursday, confirming to Sinclair that the FBI is still conducting a federal money-laundering probe into the Biden family.
EXCLUSIVE: A @TheJusticeDept official confirms that in 2019, the @FBI opened up a criminal investigation into "Hunter Biden and his associates," focused on allegations of money-laundering, and that it remains open and active today. More very soon on your @WeAreSinclair stations.
Accoridng to Sinclair’s James Rose, a former Fox News correspondent, former Biden business associate-turned-whistleblower named Tony Bobulinski was interviewed by the FBI for five hours on Friday.
EXCLUSIVE: Tony Bobulinski tells @WeAreSinclair he was questioned by six @FBI agents, with counsel present, for five hours on October 23, listing him as a "material witness" in an ongoing investigation focused on Hunter Biden and his associates. His cell phones were examined. pic.twitter.com/5lPzRTREJN
The report comes the same week Bobulinski said Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was “compromised” by the Chinese Communist Party.
“I think Joe Biden and the Biden family is compromised,” Bobulinski said on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” after Carlson dedicated the entire prime-time hour to outlining the Biden family’s financial schemes of selling American political influence by leveraging Joe Biden’s name to take in foreign cash.
Bobulinski to #Tucker: "So, I think Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised. Obviously, I've referenced that I've held a Q clearance. You're briefed on a compromise and who you're able to talk with and deal and do business with…." pic.twitter.com/DG7oXIndsF
In another sign of growing support for President Trump from the influential rap community, the acclaimed hip-hop artist Lil Wayne said he met with the president on Thursday, saying that they discussed criminal justice reform and the president’s “Platinum Plan” to invest in black communities and businesses.
Lil Wayne described the meeting as “great” and said that President Trump “listened to what we had to say today.”
Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump@potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done. 🤙🏾 pic.twitter.com/Q9c5k1yMWf
The apparent endorsement from Lil Wayne represents a major boon for President Trump, whose support among black Americans has reached 31 percent according to a daily Rasmussen Reports poll. The president garnered just 8 percent of the black vote in 2016.
Lil Wayne — whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. — ranks among the most acclaimed rappers of all time. The Grammy-winning artist has sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making him one of the top-selling artists ever. His Twitter feed is followed by more than 34 million individuals.
Lil Wayne is the latest major rap figure to signal his support for President Trump. Last week, 50 Cent wrote “Vote for Trump” in an Instagram post in which he lashed out at Joe Biden’s planned tax hikes. (Read more from “Rapper Lil Wayne Praises Trump’s Platinum Plan for Black Americans” HERE)

By NPR. Miles Taylor, the former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, has revealed himself to be “Anonymous,” the author of a New York Times op-ed and book critical of the Trump presidency.
“To be clear, writing those works was not about eminence (they were published without attribution), not about money (I declined a hefty monetary advance and pledged to donate the bulk of the proceeds), and not about crafting a score-settling ‘tell all’ (my focus was on the President himself and his character, not denigrating former colleagues),” Taylor wrote in a Medium post.
“Nevertheless, I made clear I wasn’t afraid to criticize the President under my name.”
Taylor, in media interviews as recently as August, denied being “Anonymous.” (Read more from “Ex-Homeland Security Official Outs Himself as ‘Anonymous’ Anti-Trump Author” HERE)

Trump Says Miles Taylor ‘Should Be Prosecuted’ After Reveal as ‘Anonymous’ Administration Critic
By Fox News. President Trump called Wednesday night for former Department of Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor to face prosecution after he revealed himself as “Anonymous,” the former senior administration official who authored a New York Times op-ed criticizing the presidency in 2018.
Trump took aim at Taylor during a campaign rally in Goodyear, Ariz., referring to him as a “low-level staffer, a sleazebag, who’s never worked in the White House.” Taylor revealed his identity as “Anonymous” in a blog post on Wednesday afternoon.
“The whole thing was just one more giant hoax from the Washington swamp and a corrupt special interest group,” Trump said at the rally. “I’ll tell you what – this guy, in my opinion, should be prosecuted. He should be prosecuted. The left wing media and the swamp are doing everything in their power to try to stop us.”
Donald Trump is a man without character. It’s why I wrote “A Warning”…and it’s why me & my colleagues have spoken out against him (in our own names) for months. It’s time for everyone to step out of the shadows. My statement: https://t.co/yuhTgZ4bkq

Supporters Shout ‘Drain the Swamp’ as Donald Trump Mocks ‘Anonymous’ Nobody, New York Times
By Breitbart. President Donald Trump ridiculed The New York Times after the “Anonymous” administration “insider” Miles Tayor revealed his identity on Wednesday. . .
“You know where he works now? He works at CNN, can you believe it?” Trump chuckled.
The president joked that after the New York Times published the op-ed, he was concerned that the “anonymous” official could have been a high-level source like his top advisers Hope Hicks or even his son-in-law Jared Kushner or even a Senator like Mike Lee (R-UT) or Rand Paul (R-KY). . .
Trump also mocked Taylor for taking a job with Google after he left the administration.
“Isn’t that nice?” he asked sarcastically, recalling that the Justice Department was suing Google for antitrust behavior. (Read more from “Supporters Shout ‘Drain the Swamp’ as Donald Trump Mocks ‘Anonymous’ Nobody, New York Times” HERE)

By The Federalist. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey lied to Congress on Tuesday during a Senate hearing focused on Big Tech’s content moderation policies when he claimed that his social media company has never censored President Donald Trump.
“Just to be clear, we have not censored the president,” Dorsey said in response to Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. “We have not taken the tweets down that you’re referencing. We have added context with a label and we do the same for leaders around the world.”
Blackburn said Twitter has censored Trump and his campaign’s tweets and accounts at least 65 times, and but never once censored Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden. Dorsey maintained the company did nothing wrong by labeling the president’s tweets and adding more “context” to his statements. . .
Earlier in the year, Twitter removed access to an obviously fake “racist baby” video posted by the president after creating a platform-sponsored fact-check in the trending topics section of the website.
Twitter censored multiple Trump tweets raising valid concerns over mail-in voting and flagged Trump’s tweets about sending the National Guard to cities with violent rioting as “glorifying violence.” (Read more from “Twitter CEO Lies, Claims That Twitter Never Censored President Trump” HERE)
Facebook, Twitter CEOs Struggle To Name a Single Liberal Who Has Been Censored on Their Platforms
By Fox News. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey struggled to name a single liberal person or entity who has been censored by their social media platforms on Wednesday during the Senate hearing on Big tech.
Twitter and Facebook have both been accused of bias against conservatives, so Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, asked Zuckerberg and Dorsey to name “one high-profile person or entity from a liberal ideology” who has been censored or had actions taken against them.
“I can get you a list of some more of this but there are certainly many examples that your Democratic colleagues object to when… a fact-checker might label something as false if they disagree with it, or, um,” Zuckerberg said before he was cut off.
“I get that, I just want to be clear, I’m just asking you if you could name for me, one high-profile liberal person or company who you have censored,” Lee said. “I just want one name, one person or one entity.”

Cruz in Heated Exchange With Twitter’s Dorsey: ‘Who the Hell Elected You?’
By The Hill. Sen. Ted Cruz during a hearing on Wednesday accused Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey of censoring content with an anti-conservative bias, with the Texas Republican focusing his argument around a policy the tech company has since changed.
Cruz slammed Dorsey during the Senate Commerce Committee hearing over the company’s decision earlier this month to limit the spread of a New York Post report that included allegations about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden that have been disputed by the former vice president’s campaign. . .
“Mr. Dorsey, who the hell elected you and put you in charge of what the media are allowed to report and what the American people are allowed to hear, and why do you persist in behaving as a Democratic super PAC silencing views to the contrary of your political beliefs?” Cruz asked Dorsey during a heated exchange on Wednesday.
“We’re not doing that,” Dorsey responded. “This is why I opened this hearing with calls for more transparency. We realized we need to earn trust more, we realized that more accountability is needed to show our intentions and to show the outcomes. So I hear the concerns and acknowledge them, but we want to fix it with more transparency.”
Cruz, one of the Senate’s most vocal critics of Big Tech, said Google, Facebook and Twitter pose “the single greatest threat to free speech in America.” He took particular aim at Twitter, calling the company’s conduct the “most egregious.” (Read more from “Cruz in Heated Exchange With Twitter’s Dorsey: ‘Who the Hell Elected You?'” HERE)

The United States and India signed a pact to share sensitive satellite and map data on Tuesday as U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned of the threat posed by an increasingly assertive China.
Pompeo, who arrived in New Delhi on Monday along with Defense Secretary Mark Esper, said after talks with their Indian counterparts that the two countries had to work together to confront the threat China posed to security and freedom.
The annual U.S.-India strategic dialogue comes at a time of heightened tension in the region, with Indian troops confronting Chinese forces on their disputed Himalayan border.
“Big things are happening as our democracies align to better protect the citizens of our two countries and indeed, of the free world,” Pompeo told reporters after the talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
“Our leaders, and our citizens, see with increasing clarity that the Chinese Communist Party is no friend to democracy, the rule of law, transparency, nor to freedom of navigation, the foundation of a free and open, prosperous Indo-Pacific,” Pompeo said. American airstrikes have killed a dozen al-Qaeda and Taliban members in Syria and Afghanistan since Thursday.
On Monday, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan spokesman Col. Sonny Leggett confirmed that American troops had conducted a strike in defense of Afghan troops. The operation killed five Taliban fighters and had no civilian casualties.
The same day, U.S. Central Command spokeswoman Maj. Beth Riordan confirmed an airstrike that killed seven al-Qaeda in Syria (AQ-S) operators.
“The removal of these AQ-S leaders will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to further plot and carry out global attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians,” Riordan said.
Reports of these strikes come soon after another major blow to al-Qaeda. On Sunday, Afghan forces confirmed the death of group propaganda chief Husam Abd al-Rauf, a top aide to leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. (Read more from “U.S. Airstrikes Take Down 12 Al-Qaeda and Taliban Operators” HERE)
