Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw Wins First Reelection Bid
Freshman Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw won reelection on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old Navy SEAL veteran defeated Democratic candidate Sima Ladjevardian in Texas’s 2nd Congressional District, according to the Associated Press. He was first elected to Congress two years ago.
While his district was called early on election night, Texas is a state to watch in the presidential election. Texas is a must-have state for President Trump, but polling as the election neared showed that it was a vulnerable target for Democrats. (Read more from “Texas Rep.
