Prosecutor Booted From McCloskey Gun Case

The circuit attorney for the city of St. Louis has been disqualified from prosecuting Mark and Patricia McCloskey, a local couple facing felony charges after defending their home with weapons when protesters marched through their neighborhood in June, according to reports.

The content of some campaign fundraising emails by Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner infringed on the McCloskeys’ right to receive a fair trial, Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II ruled Thursday, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Gardner’s emails suggested that by charging the McCloskeys in July, she appeared to have “initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes,” the judge wrote, according to the newspaper. (Read more from “Prosecutor Booted From McCloskey Gun Case” HERE)

Federal Agents Raid Company That Makes Gun Parts

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on Thursday raided a popular gun component manufacturer under suspicion that the organization was selling firearms without mandating background checks.

Polymer80, one of the nation’s leading sellers of unserialized gun components and DIY firearm kits, was suspected of illegally distributing and manufacturing guns and failing to conduct background checks, according to The Wall Street Journal. The ATF raided the Nevada business, despite 80% receivers, which the corporation primarily sells, being legal and not considered firearms, according to the government body’s website.

The investigation focused primarily on the company’s “Buy Build Shoot Kit,” which includes an 80% finished handgun frame and the components necessary to assemble that frame into a complete Polymer80 handgun, according to WSJ, which cited an ATF warrant. The agency determined that the set sold together meets the definition of a firearm and thereby would require a background check for purchasing, WSJ reported.

Disturbing: Artist Plans Display Filled With Human Blood To ‘Confront’ Trump Supporters

Russian born and France based artist Andrei Molodkin is planning to display an art exhibit, entitled “The White House Filled With the Blood of US Citizens,” filled with human blood, he says it meant to “confront” supporters of President Donald Trump.

The display will be erected in Washington, D.C., according to a report by The Hill.

“The use of human blood is required to interrogate the existing political system,” said Andrei Molodkin. “I have questions about why people have to give their blood for an ideology so I say, if you have to give your blood, give it to art or to something that you’re free to choose.” . . .

The artist’s piece, however, may seem bizarre to many Trump supporters, as the president has never gotten the United States involved in a war, unlike his predecessors. (Read more from “Disturbing: Artist Plans Display Filled With Human Blood To ‘Confront’ Trump Supporters” HERE)

Extreme Leftist Posts, Then Deletes Bragging About Christmas Tree Topped With Abortion Clamps

A pro-abortion activist posted, then deleted, a photo of an abortion clinic’s Christmas tree topped with two Sopher clamps instead of the traditional star or angel during the 2020 Advent season.

“IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO TOP OUR TOPPER,” pro-abortion activist Michael Saenz bragged in the now-deleted tweet, which he ended with the hashtags #ProAbortion, #Abortions, and #Christmas.

Sopher clamps are used by abortionists performing second-term Dilation and Evacuation (D&E), or dismemberment, abortions, when the unborn babies are too large to simply be suctioned apart and out of the uterus.

Maybe One of Biden’s ‘Experts’ Can Explain To Him How FDA Approval Works; Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ Trump Put Americans First; FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

By Townhall. Joe Biden has billed himself as a leader who will work in “lockstep” with experts when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. Well, a good place for him to start would be to learn the difference between an FDA advisory panel’s recommendation for approval of a drug and actual FDA approval. . .

Following Thursday’s recommendation, Joe Biden released a statement on the FDA’s “approval” of the Pfizer vaccine candidate, which hasn’t happened yet.

“Yesterday marked another tragic milestone in our fight against COVID-19,” Biden’s statement began. “But today’s approval by the Food & Drug Administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is a bright light in a needlessly dark time.”

An expert or anybody who read the news about the committee’s recommendation to approve the vaccine candidate could have explained the process to Joe.

“Vaccines don’t equal vaccinations,” Biden lectured. “Our challenge now is to scale up manufacturing and distribution to distribute 100 million shots in the first 100 days of my administration.”

Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ That Americans Will Get the Vaccine First

By Townhall. Billionaire globalist Melinda Gates is “incredibly disappointed” that President Trump has put Americans first in line to receive the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine.

Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, told CNN’s Poppy Harlow that it’s America’s and other high-income countries’ responsibility to make sure impoverished nations get access to the vaccine just as quickly as everyone else.

“Everybody needs this vaccine,” complained Gates. “If we only get it to the high-income countries, this disease is going to bounce around. We’re going to see twice as many deaths. And our recovery of our economies is going to be much slower than if we get the vaccine out to everybody.” . . .

Melinda Gates, who warns about so-called “vaccine nationalism,” said President Trump’s executive order putting Americans first in line to receive the vaccine “is exactly what we were worried about.”

Gates said Trump should invoke the Defense Production Act, for the umpteenth time, and scale up “lots and lots of manufacturing so that not just the U.S. gets vaccines but everybody gets vaccines.” (Read more from “Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ That Americans Will Get the Vaccine First” HERE)

FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

By CBS News. A federal advisory panel on Thursday recommended the emergency use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The Food and Drug Administration is expected to approve the drug, kicking off a massive nationwide operation to get nearly 3 million doses of the vaccine to hospitals and drug stores across the country.

“We’ve been working very closely with our state and local partners to make sure they have plans in place to identify providers that are able to receive, store and use the vaccine,” said Dr. Anita Patel, deputy of the CDC’s vaccine task force.

The experts voted 17 to 4 in favor of recommending the drug for emergency use for people aged 16 years and older, with one of the members withholding. Health care workers and nursing home residents will be among the first to get the vaccine.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla applauded the panel’s decision. “We are pleased with the strong majority vote, and if the FDA issues an authorization, stand at the ready to bring this vaccine to people in the U.S. in an effort to help combat this devastating pandemic,” Bourla said in a statement.

The FDA, however, is not required to follow the panel’s advice. “After we receive recommendations, we will incorporate that into our decision,” Stephen Hahn, the agency’s commissioner, told “CBS This Morning,” calling the endorsement “nonbinding.” (Read more from “FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine” HERE)

Dem Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Introduces Bill That Would Allow Only Biological Females in Women’s Sports

Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Republican Oklahoma Rep. Markwayne Mullin introduced legislation that would clarify Title IX protections for female athletes as based on biological sex, a press release said Thursday.

The “Protect Women’s Sports Act” recognizes the different abilities conferred by biological sex, the statement says. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal funding.

“Title IX was a historic provision championed by Hawaii’s own Congresswoman Patsy Mink in order to provide equal opportunity for women and girls in high school and college sports,” Gabbard said in the statement. “It led to a generational shift that impacted countless women, creating life-changing opportunities for girls and women that never existed before.”

“However, Title IX is being weakened by some states who are misinterpreting Title IX, creating uncertainty, undue hardship and lost opportunities for female athletes. Our legislation protects Title IX’s original intent which was based on the general biological distinction between men and women athletes based on sex,” (Read more from “Dem Rep. Boy Cries After Mall Santa Tells Him No Nerf Guns for Christmas

. . .In all seriousness, it takes a lot to screw up as a mall Santa. It’s not the most pleasant work, you need to have a lot of patience, but making a kid cry because you want to peddle some Moms Demand gun control nonsense is a special kind of idiocy. What are you doing, Saint Nick? If you’re going to do this, at least take a page from Billy Bob Thornton’s book and be drunk, vulgar, and a total degenerate. Yeah, in Illinois, some boy wanted a Nerf gun for Christmas. This idiot Santa said no (via The Hill):

A mall in Chicago has apologized and delivered a surprise to a young boy who was told by a mall Santa Claus that he could not have a toy gun for Christmas.

Video posted by the boy’s mother on Facebook shows Michael asking a Santa at the Harlem Irving Plaza Mall for a nerf gun.

“No, I … nope. No guns,” the Santa replied. “Not even a Nerf gun. If your dad wants to bring it to you that’s fine, but I can’t bring it to you. What else would you like?”

The boy eventually breaks into tears.

FACTCHECK.ORG CONFIRMS: We Are a Stinking Hot Pile of Garbage Laced With Animal Feces [Georgia Vote Fraud Edition]

In short, if you trust “Politifact” or “FactCheck.org” to adjudicate questionable claims, you better start looking for other sources.

Exhibit 5,003,406: The “Factcheck” article — which attempted to debunk overwhelming evidence of Georgia election fraud — asserted that there was never any water main break in State Farm Arena, where absentee ballots were tallied, and that counting never stopped.

Too bad the Internet always leaves evidence, this time in very plain sight. Here are the right-wing, pro-Trump alt-right kooks at CBS reporting very late on Election Day (not at 6:07am):

CBS reported “A water pipe has broken in State Farm Arena… this is Georgia’s most populous county and now counting [of absentee ballots] has stopped.”

Chyrons scrolled merrily along during the report that confirmed the news.

In short, Factcheck ignored on-the-scene, live reports to push their Marxist ideology. They investigated nothing and simply regurgitated comments from other Marxists.

I can only conclude, with all due respect of course, that Factcheck.org is a steaming pile of hot garbage laced with animal feces. (For more from the author of “Factcheck.org Confirms: We Are a Stinking Hot Pile of Garbage Laced With Animal Feces [Georgia Vote Fraud Edition]” HERE)

Mastercard and Visa Officially Cut Ties With Pornhub

Mastercard and Visa said they had prohibited the use of their cards on the adult website Pornhub, after the New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof reported that the platform included videos of child abuse and rape.

Both companies had started investigations this week into their financial ties with MindGeek, the parent company of Pornhub.

Mastercard said in a statement on Thursday that the investigation “confirmed violations of our standards prohibiting unlawful content on their site,” which prompted the company to terminate the acceptance of its cards on the site.

In a separate statement, Visa said, “We are instructing the financial institutions who serve MindGeek to suspend processing of payments through the Visa network,” pending the completion of its investigation. (Read more from “Mastercard and Visa Officially Cut Ties With Pornhub” HERE)

Does a Recent Court Decision Signal the End of ‘Conversion Therapy’ Bans?

When the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit recently considered so-called “conversion therapy” bans stemming from Palm Beach County, Florida, the court had little hesitation finding that the bans violated the First Amendment. To anyone familiar with what these laws actually say, the court’s conclusion that they were unconstitutional came as no surprise.

Specifics on what constitutes “conversion therapy” are far from clear. “Electroconvulsive shock therapy” is repeatedly fronted as justification for these laws, but without evidence that such methods have been used for this purpose in many decades. And the laws are actually far broader in scope, extending to any efforts, including counseling, that might seek to help a patient change any aspect of sexual behavior or attractions. . .

While these counseling bans—promoted by activist groups—pass quickly through some legislative chambers as symbols of political correctness, they are running into trouble in courts since the Supreme Court reemphasized important principles of free speech in its famous NIFLA v. Becerra decision in 2018. Late last year, New York City was forced to repeal a counseling censorship law when it was challenged by an Orthodox Jewish psychotherapist with the assistance of civil rights organization Alliance Defending Freedom. The 11th Circuit has now struck down a similar ban for the same central reason: The government has no right to censor conversations between therapists and their patients.

The facts of the 11th Circuit case are revealing. The plaintiffs are licensed marriage and family therapists who have practiced for many years. They make no promises that they can “change” a person’s sexual orientation, but they are willing to support patients, through ordinary conversational therapy, who wish to pursue change in this area so that they can live in accordance with the moral teachings of their faith. But these private and intensely personal client-therapist conversations fall foul of the expansive wording of the Palm Beach bans. This meant that the therapists faced criminal consequences if they continued to provide the support their clients want.

Observing that the therapists’ speech in this context fell squarely within the protections of the First Amendment, the court emphasized that the government rarely has power to restrict expression because it disapproves of its content. The court rejected the assertion that bans were justified on the basis that they safeguarded the physical and psychological well-being of minors. In reviewing extensive documentation submitted by the authorities and third-party intervenors to substantiate that claim, the court came to the stark conclusion that they offered only assertions, not evidence. It further observed that there was a “complete lack” of rigorous recent research on the issue, failing to reveal harm at all.
