CDC Has an Announcement for Fully Vaccinated Americans

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made an announcement on Monday for those who are fully vaccinated. On a call, the officials revealed that fully vaccinated people can now gather indoors without masks and without social distancing. They can also gather indoors with unvaccinated people from one other household without masks, unless any of those people or anyone they live with has an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19. In public, however, the agency urges even those who are vaccinated to adhere to social distancing and mask mandates.

“We know that people want to get vaccinated so they can get back to doing the things they enjoy with the people they love,” said CDC Director Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky. “There are some activities that fully vaccinated people can begin to resume now in the privacy of their own homes.”

Another State Follows Suit, Announces End to Lockdown and Mask Mandate

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon announced an end to numerous lockdown measures on Monday, including a state-wide mask mandate.

Gordon, a Republican, said that the mask mandate would be lifted and businesses such as restaurants, movie theaters, bars, and gyms would be allowed to open at full capacity on March 16. Gordon’s announcement follows similar moves made by Texas and Mississippi almost a year after such measures were put in place.

Notably, Gordon is still leaving some pandemic measures in place, such as a mask mandate on all elementary through high schools, according to CNN. Gordon touted the state’s vaccination efforts for his decision to lift regulations.

“I thank the people of Wyoming for their commitment to keeping one another safe throughout this pandemic,” Gordon said in a press release. “It is through their efforts that we have kept our schools and businesses operating and our economy moving forward. I ask all Wyoming citizens to continue to take personal responsibility for their actions and stay diligent as we look ahead to the warmer months and to the safe resumption of our traditional spring and summer activities.” (Read more from “Another State Follows Suit, Announces End to Lockdown and Mask Mandate” HERE)

Chief Justice John Roberts Is The Only One To Side Against Christian Students Whose Free Speech Was Trampled

Chief Justice John Roberts was the only dissenter in the U.S Supreme Court’s most recent ruling favoring a couple of Christian students who challenged their university for restricting when, where, and how they could speak about their faith and disseminate materials on campus.

Uzuegbunam et al. v. Preczewski et al. first materialized after Chike Uzuegbunam, a student at Georgia Gwinnett College, was stopped by campus police for handing out religious materials on campus, a reported violation of the school’s “Freedom of Expression Policy,” which limited distributions and other expressions to free speech zones only with permission from the administration. Even after Uzuegbunam moved to the designated areas with permission, however, campus police attempted to stop him from speaking and handing out religious literature, prompting him and another student, Joseph Bradford, to take legal action against the university for violating their First and 14th Amendment rights and seek nominal damages. Christian Adoption Agency Surrendered ‘Before Battle Began’

A Christian adoption agency’s decision to allow same-sex couples to adopt children is a surrender to the sexual revolution, charged Albert Mohler Jr., the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mohler was responding on his website to the announcement by Bethany Christian Services, one of the nation’s largest evangelical agencies involved in adoption and foster care.

“Bethany Christian Services has now surrendered to the sexual revolution and the attempts to reshape the family into a new form that violates God’s good design,” Mohler wrote. “This is a historic moment that, to be fair, we have seen coming.”

He noted that in 2018, BCS “altered its local policies in the city of Philadelphia when the city authorities put pressure on Christian-based adoption agencies to provide services for same-sex couples. BCS capitulated then and now they have submitted to the demands of the LGBTQ movement at the national level. The surrender is total and unconditional.”

Bethany’s “capitulation is all the more astounding given the fact that the Supreme Court will rule in coming months on the Philadelphia case,” he said. “There is reason to believe that the Supreme Court will rule in favor the Christian charities and adoption agencies in the city, but BCS went ahead and changed their policies. Austria Suspends Vaccine Batch After Death

Austrian authorities have suspended inoculations with a batch of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine as a precaution while investigating the death of one person and the illness of another after the shots, a health agency said on Sunday.

“The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has received two reports in a temporal connection with a vaccination from the same batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine in the district clinic of Zwettl” in Lower Austria province, it said.

One 49-year-old woman died as a result of severe coagulation disorders, while a 35-year-old woman developed a pulmonary embolism and is recovering, it said. A pulmonary embolism is an acute lung disease caused by a dislodged blood clot. . .

Austrian newspaper Niederoesterreichische Nachrichten as well as broadcaster ORF and the APA news agency reported that the women were both nurses who worked at the Zwettl clinic.

BASG said blood clotting was not among the known side effects of the vaccine. It was pursuing its investigation vigorously to completely rule out any possible link. (Read more from “Austria Suspends Vaccine Batch After Death” HERE)

WATCH: BLM Activists Accuse Girls of ‘White Privilege’ at Cheerleading Competition

Black Lives Matter activists harassed a group of girls trying to enter a cheerleading competition in Louisville on Saturday, accusing them of having “white privilege.”

Participants of the competition, which was held at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville, were harassed and accused of being racists for merely attending the event while white, according to WDRB TV.

The protesters reportedly hurled chants, including profanities, at the teens and preteens as they entered the convention center; others held signs to taunt the children for their “racism.” Some of the activists even used bullhorns to yell in the faces of the kids.

Activist Carmen M. Jones accused parents of not caring about black people because they have sent their white daughters to cheerleading classes.

“The reason why you get to be here in these pretty little gorgeous outfits and your gorgeous hair and your gorgeous bows is because of your white privilege,” Jones said. “Breonna [Taylor] is dead. Black mothers are burying their babies while white mothers send their daughters to cheer competitions.”

Burger King: ‘Women Belong in the Kitchen’

Burger King UK deliberately stirred controversy by tweeting that “Women belong in the kitchen” — before pulling a woke bait-and-switch.

“Women belong in the kitchen,” the fast-food chain posted on its official UK account, as if in imitation of a typical left-liberal caricature of an unreconstructed social conservative.

“If they want to, of course. Yet only 20 per cent of chefs are women. We’re on a mission to change the gender ratio in the restaurant industry by empowering female employees with the opportunity to pursue a culinary career,” they continued in a subsequent tweet, signed with the hashtag #IWD — for International Women’s Day, a communist holiday institutionalised by Bolshevik dictator Vladimir Lenin and popularised by the United Nations and woke corporations in the West.

“We are proud to be launching a new scholarship programme which will help female Burger King employees pursue their culinary dreams!” BK concluded — but the message did not land for everybody.

“[S]omebody working at Burger King really looked at this and thought it was a good idea,” tweeted one user. (Read more from “Burger King: ‘Women Belong in the Kitchen’” HERE)

Surprise, Surprise: Portland’s Defund the Police Failure Results in Soaring Crime

Facing a continued scourge of violence since cutting its police budget by $15 million last summer, Portland, Oregon, has decided to reintroduce a gun violence task force within the city’s police department.

The new team, called the Enhanced Community Safety Team, was introduced last month in response to skyrocketing violence in the city, KATU-TV reported, and comes only months since the city disbanded the Gun Violence Reduction Team as a part of police budget cuts.

Following the dissolution of the previous gun violence team, shootings in the city skyrocketed.

According to the Associated Press, “More people died of gunfire last year in Portland — 40 — than the entire tally of homicides the previous year. The number of shootings — 900 — was nearly 2 1/2 times higher than the year before.” . . .

Amazingly, the new unit was requested by Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler, who also serves as the city’s police commissioner. Wheeler had been outspoken in support of defunding the police as Black Lives Matter protests rocked the city for much of the last year. Pope Francis Holds Historic Meeting With Powerful Shia Cleric in Iraq

Pope Francis held an historic meeting with one of Shia Islam’s most powerful figures and visited the birthplace of the biblical prophet Abraham in Iraq on Saturday during his first international trip since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic last year.

The 84-year-old leader of the Catholic Church held a 45-minute meeting with the Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the reclusive and legendary Shiite cleric, at his modest home in the holy city of Najaf in central Iraq.

“The Holy Father stressed the importance of collaboration and friendship between religious communities,” according to a Vatican statement released after the historic meeting with the 90-year-old Muslim cleric, a powerful spiritual leader who urged his millions of followers in the Shiite majority country to take up arms against ISIS fighters in 2014. Government Data Shows Masks Had No Impact on COVID Spread

A graph that overlays data from surveys on mask usage with the number of coronavirus cases confirms studies that indicate the face coverings have no significant impact on the spread of the coronavirus.

Using data culled from YouGov.com and the Covid Tracking Project from March 20, 2020, to March 3, 2021, economist Brian Westbury created the chart and posted it on Twitter.

Surveys showed mask usage reached about 80% by midsummer last year and has remained consistent since then. During that period, however, the number of daily positive cases rose and fell precipitously.

Many epidemiologists have noted the coronavirus, in a second major wave, is following the bell-shaped pattern of epidemics predicted by Farr’s Law in 1840, regardless of mitigation efforts. . .

Another chart, from a Financial Times analysis of the Covid Tracking Project, shows very little difference in the number cases between North Dakota and South Dakota. That’s despite the fact that North Dakota has had a mask mandate, while South Dakota has not.
