Juneteenth Bill Passes House, Set To Become 11th Federal Holiday

The House of Representatives has passed a milestone measure to create a federal holiday for Juneteenth, the nation’s oldest commemoration of the abolition of slavery and celebration of African American emancipation.

The US Senate unanimously passed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act on Tuesday. It now heads to President Joe Biden for his signature.

The measure, carried by Democratic US Rep Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, where Juneteenth was first commemorated in 1866, had more than 160 co-sponsors.

Following decades of organising for federal recognition, the proposal has gained considerable support over the following year amid racial justice uprisings across the US.

According to a count compiled by CNN, the Republicans who voted against it were Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Mo Brooks of Alabama, Scott DesJarlais of Tennessee, Andy Biggs of Arizona, Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin, Doug LaMalfa of California, Tom McClintock of California, Mike Rogers of Alabama, Matt Rosendale of Montana, Ronny Jackson of Texas, Ralph Norman of South Carolina, Andrew Clyde of Georgia, Chip Roy of Texas and Paul Gosar of Arizona. Missing Military Firearms Found After Violent Crimes

In the first public accounting of its kind in decades, an Associated Press investigation has found that at least 1,900 U.S. military firearms were lost or stolen during the 2010s, with some resurfacing in violent crimes.

At Fort Campbell, from 2013 to 2016, soldiers stole machine gun parts and other items that ended up with online buyers in Russia, China, Mexico and elsewhere. The civilian ringleader from Clarksville, who was found with a warehouse of items, was convicted. Authorities said he made hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Weapons disappearances have happened across the armed forces.

Government records covering the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force show pistols, machine guns, shotguns and automatic assault rifles have vanished from armories, supply warehouses, Navy warships, firing ranges and other places where they were used, stored or transported. These weapons of war disappeared because of unlocked doors, sleeping troops, a surveillance system that didn’t record, break-ins and other security lapses that, until now, have not been publicly reported. Country Bans Promotion of Homosexuality or Transgender Rights Within Children’s Media

Hungary passed a law Tuesday that restricted broadcasters, advertisers and media entities from promoting gay and transgender content to children via media.

The bill passed by a vote of 157-1 with the support of nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party, according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Fidesz claimed the law would combat pedophilia, but it contained provisions against content that depicted homosexuality or that which promoted transgender rights.

The measure outlaws content that features characters who are gay or who no longer identify as the sex they were assigned at birth in kids’ content, according to WSJ. Fidesz state secretary, Csaba Domotor, claimed the goal of the law is “the protection of children.”

“Pedophiles won’t be able to hide anymore,” he claimed.

Hungary’s constitution was changed under Orban to define marriage as strictly heterosexual, and citizens are not allowed to change their gender identity on government-issued IDs.

NASA Abandons Actual Space Mission To Focus On Implementing Critical Race Theory (VIDEO)

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) unveiled an initiative called “Mission Equity” on Monday that seeks to “streamline its programs, procurements, grants, regulations and policies to remove systemic inequitable barriers and challenges facing underserved communities.”

“NASA is a 21st-century agency with 22nd-century goals. To be successful, it’s critical that NASA takes a comprehensive approach to address the challenges to equity we see today,” Bill Nelson, the NASA administrator, said in a statement. “The agency’s new Mission Equity is a bold and necessary challenge for NASA to ensure our programs are accessible to all Americans and, especially, those living in historically underserved communities across the country. Because when NASA opens doors to talent previously left untapped, the universe is the limit.”

In order to streamline the critical race theory-aligned initiative, NASA released a public information request titled “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities in NASA Programs, Contracts, and Grants.” . . .

NASA is only the latest federal agency to push leftist doctrine. Since May, the Central Intelligence Agency has been releasing videos that push gender theory and radical feminism. In March, the Department of Defense launched a partisan attack on Fox News host Tucker Carlson due to his disagreement over identity politics infiltrating the military, and the Pentagon hired a “diversity and inclusion chief” who was eventually reassigned due to a social media conflict of interest. Biden’s Ridiculous Claim: I ‘Such Outward Assault on Voting Rights’ Since ‘the Civil War’

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden spoke with reporters as he prepared to head back to the United States from Geneva, after speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Just before he left, Biden found a way to do one of his favorite things, which is throwing around ridiculous claims about election reform laws being passed around the country.

“I’ve never seen, including during — since the Civil War, such an outward assault on voting rights. I mean, just a flat assault. I didn’t anticipate that happening four years ago, but it’s happening now,” Biden claimed.

Did Fauci Commit Perjury?

Did Anthony Fauci commit perjury when asked about gain of function research? The egotistical bureaucrat stated repeatedly that the $600,000 in taxpayer money that was directed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology was not geared towards gain of function research that makes viruses more lethal and transmissible to find ways to kill them before things get out of hand. EcoHealth Alliance formed the third part of this research triangle. In fact, its president thanks Fauci in newly obtained emails when he dispelled the lab leak theory that is increasingly looking like fact.

Those emails show that Fauci knew that COVID-19 might have some aspects within its make-up that looks engineered. He didn’t disclose this. When pressed about the grants, he finally admitted that he couldn’t guarantee that the Chinese lied about where the money was going. I mean if you can’t trust an authoritarian government with an appalling human rights record, who can you trust?

A criminal investigation should be opened into whether Dr. Anthony Fauci lied to Congress when he denied that his agency helped fund dangerous experiments in a Wuhan laboratory that might have caused the COVID-19 pandemic that killed more than 3.5 million people worldwide.

Fauci is medical adviser to the president and the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an agency within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He insisted repeatedly during his Senate testimony on May 11, 2021, that the roughly $600,000 in taxpayer money that the NIH funneled through a third party to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China was never used to support risky experiments – called gain-of-function research – to genetically enhance the pathogenic power of bat coronaviruses that infect humans.

Capitol Hill Lawmakers: UFOs Could Threaten US Security (VIDEO)

Capitol Hill lawmakers said Wednesday that UFOs could pose a pressing threat to America’s national security, as the pols emerged from a highly classified briefing with Navy and FBI officials on the unexplained phenomena.

Ahead of the release of a highly anticipated Pentagon report on unidentified flying objects before month’s end, members of the House Intelligence Committee received a hush-hush sneak preview inside a SCIF, or “sensitive compartmented information facility.”

As for the existence of extraterrestrial life, the lawmakers largely left the secrets inside the surveillance-proof room, declining to tell reporters what they learned.

But some did voice concerns that the UFOs — which may be espionage assets controlled by America’s foreign adversaries, in a possible explanation just slightly less terrifying than the vanguard of an alien invasion — could pose a danger to national security.

“We take the issue of unexplained aerial phenomena seriously to the extent that we’re dealing with the safety and security of US military personnel or the national security interests of the United States, so we want to know what we’re dealing with,” said Rep. More Racist Hunter Biden Texts Unearthed

First son Hunter Biden used the racial slur “yellow” to refer to Asian women in a January 2019 text message to cousin Caroline Biden about getting fixed up with someone, according to a new report.

The January 26, 2019 conversation was preserved on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and was first reported by DailyMail.com.

In a screenshot posted by the outlet, Caroline — the daughter of President Biden’s brother James — suggests setting Hunter up with one of her friends.

“Do you want foreign or domestic,” she asks at one point before adding: “I can’t give you f—ing Asian sorry. I’m not doing it.”

State Dedicates $250 Million To Build Border Wall

The State of Texas announced the dedication of $250 million to a disaster fund to build wall systems along its border with Mexico. The $250 million is being transferred from appropriated funds from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

“Though securing the international border and protecting the life and property of its citizens surrounding that border is the duty of the federal government, the current administration has shown time and time again an unwillingness to embrace this fundamental responsibility,” a letter to TDCJ Executive Director Bryan Collier signed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, House Speaker Dade Phelan, Senate Finance Committee Chair Jane Nelson, and House Appropriations Chair Greg Bonnen on Wednesday stated. “As noted in the disaster declaration, Texas has invested a significant amount of its own resources to take action where the federal government has failed.”

During a press conference in Austin on Wednesday, Abbott said Texas is stepping up to address the humanitarian crisis being faced by Texans living along the Mexican border.

Joe Biden Apologizes to Establishment Media Which Returns Favor Praising Performance at Summit With Putin; Putin Trolls Biden at Summit

By Breitbart. The establishment media gushed over President Joe Biden’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday after Biden apologized for snapping at a CNN reporter during his solo press conference.

“I owe my last question an apology. I shouldn’t have — I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy with the last answer I gave. Anyway, thanks for being here,” he said in relation to a question offered by a CNN reporter concerning why Biden was confident Putin would change his behavior towards America.

“What the hell?… When did I say I was confident?” Biden snapped.

Back on the air, CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota then praised Biden for communicating clearly with Putin regarding cyber attacks.

Putin Trolls Biden at Summit

Russian leader Vladimir Putin mocked America’s human rights record during a press conference Wednesday following his meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden by referring to the continued existence of the Guantánamo Bay detention facility, “secret CIA prisons,” and alleged assassinations of U.S. political leaders.

Putin was responding to a reporter who noted, “Americans are continuously using this rhetoric of political prisoners in Russia” and raising the issue of the many Russian dissidents and Putin rivals in the country who have been poisoned, imprisoned, or otherwise harmed in ways suggesting Putin regime involvement. The reporter also noted that Biden had referred to Putin previously as a “killer,” a term Biden did not defend during a separate press conference Tuesday.

“President Biden has indeed touched on the subject of human rights,” Putin said. “We have discussed harsh statements as well.”
