Jeffrey Toobin returned to CNN on Thursday afternoon and admitted that masturbating during a Zoom call — which got him fired from the New Yorker and led to a leave of absence from the network — was “deeply moronic and indefensible.”

“I feel like we should address what’s happened in the months since we’ve seen you,” CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota said to Toobin, who was the network’s chief legal analyst. . .

Toobin, sporting a navy blue suit and a striped tie, responded by saying the masturbatory conduct was “deeply moronic and indefensible.” . . .

The network’s chief media correspondent Brian Stelter reported that Toobin had asked CNN for some time off to deal “with a personal issue,” which the network granted. That time off then turned into a leave of absence that evidently ended eight months later on Thursday.

FDA Orders J&J To Throw Out 60 Million COVID Vaccines

Federal regulators have instructed Johnson & Johnson to discard roughly 60 million single-shot COVID-19 vaccines due to possible contamination following a manufacturing mishap at the Baltimore-based Emergent BioSolutions, an error that shut down the plant two months ago.

The Food and Drug Administration told the company to throw out the shots, and it has not yet decided whether the plant can reopen, according to the New York Times.

Federal regulators closed the plant two months ago amid reports that factory workers mistakenly contaminated 15 million J&J shots with the key ingredient for the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was also in production at that plant, even though it has not yet passed regulatory muster in the United States.

Capitol Physician Lifts Mask Mandate

Vaccinated members of the House of Representatives will no longer be required to wear a face covering when on the House floor after the Capitol Attending Physician lifted the chamber’s mask mandate Friday afternoon.

“The guideline document reflects that fully vaccinated individuals may discontinue mask wear and 6-foot social distance separations in most situations consistent with the CDC revision regarding fully vaccinated individuals of May 13, 2021,” explained the new guidance that came almost a month after the federal government decreed masks and social distancing precautions were no longer necessary for vaccinated Americans.

Fox News’s Chad Pergram reported that the decision was made based on low community spread of the Wuhan coronavirus and a high rate of vaccination among those in the Capitol complex.

Critical race theory (CRT) has been pushed in schools and workplaces across the country in a purported effort to instruct people about inequality and injustice. The opponents of CRT come from all backgrounds — they’re parents and community members who share a concern over the ideas being taught to their children.

CRT holds that America is fundamentally racist, yet teaches individuals to view every social interaction and person in terms of race. Its adherents pursue “antiracism” through the end of merit, objective truth and the adoption of race-based policies.

Schools across the country have implemented the ideas of CRT, often under “equity” policies or similar initiatives. In December, a report showed that Seattle Public Schools allegedly held a training teaching white teachers to “bankrupt their privilege” and understand the “centrality of whiteness” in society. In Philadelphia, students were reportedly told to participate in activities celebrating “black communist” Angela Davis in a Black Power rally simulation.

Kory Yeshua went viral for a video, filmed alongside his young daughter, calling for the end of CRT instruction because it divides people instead of empowering them, regardless of race.

Latest Biden Nominee Involved in ‘Eco-Terrorism’ Case

President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management, Tracy Stone-Manning, received legal immunity to testify in a 1993 criminal trial, court documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show. The trial resulted in a 17 month prison sentence for tree spiking, a violent tactic used to prevent logging.

Stone-Manning testified that she sent an anonymous and threatening letter to the Forest Service in 1989 on behalf of John P. Blount, who she identified as her former roommate and a member of her circle of friends, court documents show. The letter warned that a local forest in Idaho set to be logged had been sabotaged with tree spikes, according to the documents.

“P.S. You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt,” the letter stated.

Tree spiking, which The Washington Post and other news outlets have described as an “eco-terrorism” tactic, is a form of sabotage in which metal spikes are nailed into trees to make them unsafe to log. If gone unnoticed, tree spikes can cause serious injuries for workers. . .

Stone-Manning told local media outlets at the time of the trial she waited until 1993 to inform federal authorities of her role in sending the letter because she was scared Blount would threaten her life. NY Rep. Wants ‘Liability’ Omar Booted From Congressional Committee

New York Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis slammed Rep. Ilhan Omar as “a liability” to the country amid a Democratic civil war over the Minnesota “Squad” member likening the US and Israel to the Taliban and Hamas.

Malliotakis said the Somalia-born congresswoman should be grateful to be living in the United States but instead “badmouths” her adopted country — and as a result should at least be thrown off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

“She is a liability to that committee,” Malliotakis said in a Friday afternoon appearance on Fox News.

“When I went to Israel in 2019, I spoke to citizens … They for the first time saw the United States was wavering in its support for Israel because of members like Ilhan Omar and [New York Rep.] Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Heartfelt: Boy Sells Beloved Pokémon Cards To Save Sick Dog

When 8-year-old Virginia resident Bryson Kliemann’s dog got sick, he quickly decided to sell his most cherished belongings to pay for the medical bills.

“His Pokémon cards are his most prized possession,” his mother, 26-year-old Kimberly Woodruff, told USA Today. His 4-month-old black lab puppy Bruce, however, is his “best friend.” . . .

To save money, Woodruff self-administered the puppy’s vaccines, but didn’t realize they needed to be refrigerated, the publication reported. Soon, Bruce became sick, thin, refused to leave his cage and lost his playful puppy manner. Veterinarians told Woodruff that Bruce had parvo, a potentially fatal virus that required at least $655 to treat — and possibly more if he required overnight stays at the animal hospital. . .

The next day, Bryson decided that in addition to praying, he’d also raise money by selling the lockboxes of Pokémon cards he’d been collecting since he was 4. . .

Pelosi Condemns Ilhan Omar for Comparing Israel, U.S. to Hamas and the Taliban

“Legitimate criticism of the policies of both the United States and Israel is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate. And indeed, such criticism is essential to the strength and health of our democracies,” stated Pelosi along with Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC), Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark (D-MA), Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Caucus Vice Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA). . .

Pelosi’s statement comes hours after GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called Rep. Omar’s comments “abhorrent” and said the Speaker’s “continued failure to address the issues in her caucus sends a message to the world that Democrats are tolerant of anti-Semitism and sympathizing with terrorists.”

White House Silent as Dem Civil War Breaks Out

By Fox News. The White House has remained silent about a bitter feud between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic leadership and Rep. Ilhan Omar over her recent comments about the U.S. and Israel.

Omar, the two-term progressive representative from Minnesota, has come under fire over her Monday tweet that grouped the U.S. and Israel along with terror groups such as Hamas and the Taliban. She wrote that all had committed “unthinkable atrocities.” The tweet drew sharp condemnations from members of both parties. . .

Following Omar’s explanation, House Democratic leadership said in a statement that “false equivalencies between democracies like the U.S. and Israel and groups that engage in terrorism like Hamas and the Taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress toward a future of peace and security for all.”

“We welcome the clarification by Congresswoman Omar that there is no moral equivalency between the U.S. and Israel and Hamas and the Taliban,” the statement continued. . .

Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan tore into her party’s leadership following the release of the statement Thursday afternoon. Tlaib, who has her own history of controversial remarks, said Democratic leaders “should be ashamed” of their treatment of Omar and other “Congresswomen of color.”

Biden to Military Personnel: ‘I Keep Forgetting I’m President’ (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, while President Joe Biden was speaking before Air Force personnel in the United Kingdom, he had quite the senior moment, which is not atypical for the 78-year old. As the president began his remarks, it took him a moment before he realized that the military personnel in attendance were still standing, as he had not told them to sit down. He had already started telling a story when he noticed.

“Please, at ease,” Biden said. “I keep forgetting I’m president,” he told the crowd. The service members did as they were told and sat down, while there was laughter over the so-called joke.

This is not the first time that Biden has forgotten he’s president, and it won’t be the last.

Backfired: CMT Awards Civil War Over Guns and Cancel Culture Explodes Hours Before the Show

A pro-gun control tweet from Country Music Television (CMT) has backfired on the organization as the network is set to host the one of the biggest awards show for the genre: the CMT Music Awards.

A furious reaction broke out among country music fans last week after the Country Music Television Twitter account announced its support to end gun violence and encouraged everyone to wear orange in honour of the movement. . .

Responses to the tweet showed a majority of followers reacting negatively to CMT’s support of National Gun Violence Awareness Day, including some threatening to boycott the awards show, scheduled for Wednesday night, amid the organisation’s support.

“Sorry to have run across this on the day of the show. Looks like I’ve seen my last CMT Awards show as well as watching CMT. I’ll continue to follow country music (especially the songwriters); but I’ll listen to & watch country music elsewhere, mostly live in Nashville, it appears,” one Twitter user wrote. . .

“You just lost 75% of your viewers. I for one, will not ever watch any station who champions any campaign against the 2nd Amendment, which is what CMT just did.
