Federal Prosecutor Deliberately Delayed Hunter Biden Probe to Shield 2020 Election

U.S. Department of Justice officials deliberately delayed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s potential tax law violations and sketchy overseas business dealings because of the effect it could have on the presidential election, according to a Politico report.

Delaware’s U.S. Attorney David Weiss allegedly postponed allowing prosecutors to obtain search warrants and issue grand jury subpoenas last summer, after facing pressure from other officials who feared the investigation’s influence on the 2020 presidential election and now-President Joe Biden’s campaign.

“They advised [him] to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” reported Politico, one of the many corporate media outlets that brushed off the possibility of any wrongdoing by Hunter despite the discovery of his incriminating laptop.

IS JOE A SIMP FOR COMMIES? Biden Reveals His Thoughts on Communism, Socialism Amid Cuba Protests (VIDEO)

By Daily Caller. Communism is a “universally failed system” and socialism is “not a very useful substitute,” President Joe Biden told reporters Thursday.

Biden made the statement in response to questions at a dual press conference alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Reporters asked Biden whether he agreed with White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s description of communism as a “failed ideology” earlier Thursday. Biden’s White House has faced scrutiny on the issue following the eruption of anti-communist protests in Cuba.

“Communism is a failed system, universally failed system, and I don’t see socialism as a very useful substitute, but that’s another story,” Biden said.

Biden went on to state that the U.S. does not currently plan to send troops to either Cuba or Haiti, which is also facing political upheaval in the wake of the assassination of its president, Jovenel Moïse. White House Finally Admits: ‘Communism Is a Failed Ideology’

By Breitbart. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in part that “communism is a failed ideology” when Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked if she had changed her stance on why she thinks Cubans have been protesting in the streets since Sunday.

The admission was a notable tone shift from Monday, when Psaki postulated that Cuban protesters yelling “freedom!” during anti-communist protests were actually demanding “freedom from rising COVID cases.” Psaki again declined on Wednesday to directly blame communism for the current unrest in Cuba when Doocy asked her whether communism was the reason people might want to flee Cuba for the U.S.

For full context, here is the exchange between Doocy and Psaki:

Doocy: Now that you’ve had a few days to think about it, does this White House still think the protests in Cuba are happening because people are upset about a rise in COVID cases there, or is there some thought maybe you’ve given to the possibility that they are protesting because they are sick of communism?

Psaki: Well, uh, Peter, first I would say communism is a failed ideology, and we certainly believe that. It has failed the people of Cuba. They deserve freedom. They deserve a government that supports them, whether that is, uh, making sure they have health and medical supplies, uh, access to vaccines, or whether they have economic opportunity and prosperity. And instead, this has been a government, an authoritarian, communist regime, that has repressed its people and has failed the people of Cuba, hence we’re seeing them in the streets. But I would note that ideology of the government, which has failed, has led to a lack of access to economic opportunity, to medical supplies, to COVID vaccines, so all of those pieces are true. Censored by the White House: Outrage Erupts Over Biden Admin Regularly ‘Flagging’ Facebook Posts

Critics roundly condemned the White House after press secretary Jen Psaki revealed the Biden administration is working with Facebook to flag “problematic” posts that “spread disinformation” on COVID-19.

On Thursday, Psaki was asked a question regarding the Biden administration’s request for tech companies to be more “aggressive” when policing what they referred to as “misinformation.” Psaki revealed that the White House is “in regular touch with social media platforms” to handle it. . .

While referencing the team’s actions, Psaki also revealed that they are “flagging” posts on Facebook as part of their efforts.

“Psaki says the White House has been flagging ‘problematic posts’ on Facebook they believe are misinformation about Wuhan coronavirus. Reminder: Fauci worked with Facebook to ban the lab leak theory, which is factual, for more than a year,” Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich tweeted.

Dan Gainor, of Media Research Center, said people being anti-vaccine is part of free speech and that Psaki is “against freedom.” (Read more from “Censored by the White House: Outrage Erupts Over Biden Admin Regularly ‘Flagging’ Facebook Posts” HERE)

Here We Go: Texas Democrat Stripped of Leadership Post for Fleeing the State

State Rep. Joe Moody (D-El Paso) has been stripped of his position as speaker pro tem in the Texas House following his decision to flee the state in order to stymie the ongoing special session that Gov. Greg Abbott called.

House Speaker Dade Phelan, a Beaumont Republican, announced the removal of Moody as speaker pro tem in a memo Thursday morning before the House was set to return on Thursday. He gave no statement but said the removal was effective immediately.

“The most important titles in my life will never change: Dad, Husband, El Pasoan,” Moody said in a statement. “Nothing political has ever even cracked the top three, so nothing has changed about who I am or what my values are.”

Moody is (or was) one of Speaker Phelan’s closest Democrat allies. Two of the terms he used to describe himself — Dad and husband — are gender-specific terms forbidden by the rules adopted by the Democratic leadership in the United States House of Representatives. Go Away: Biden’s ‘Door-to-Door’ Hunt For Unvaccinated Rejected

President Joe Biden’s plan to have teams go door-to-door to urge those unvaccinated for COVID-19 to get the shot is being rejected by the public even before it begins.

By a 53%-37% margin, likely voters consider the aggressive tactic to be “a bad idea.”

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, only Democrats and liberals favor the plan. Some 63% of liberals like it, as opposed to 22% of conservatives.

What’s more, black people, white people, men, and women reject the idea. (Read more from “Go Away: Biden’s ‘Door-to-Door’ Hunt For Unvaccinated Rejected” HERE)

GOP Wants Answers On Missing Mueller Phones

Two Republican senators are pressing for answers about apparently missing phones belonging to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigative team that the Justice Department cannot locate, per its watchdog.

Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin told Attorney General Merrick Garland they are “asking the Justice Department for more information and records” after learning that the DOJ “could not locate 59 of the 96 phones” used by Mueller’s team and after discovering that the department “failed to review over twenty phones for federal record preservation.”

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz wrote to Johnson and Grassley in May, noting in a letter obtained by the Washington Examiner that the DOJ’s Justice Management Division took possession of 79 of 96 Mueller team phones in a property transfer from the special counsel’s office in June 2019. A DOJ iPhone record review spreadsheet documented that only approximately 74 of the phones were reviewed for records. Horowitz said that records such as notes and text messages were sent to DOJ or FBI email systems for preservation.

Horowitz detailed the location of some of the phones, including the devices belonging to former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and fired FBI special agent Peter Strzok, which remain secured in a safe at the DOJ, but the inspector general said the DOJ’s JMD currently does not know the whereabouts of 59 of the 96 team phones. Trump Gives an All-Time Statement in Response to Coup Allegations

Former President Donald Trump pushed back Thursday against accusations he wanted to launch a coup, rebutting alleged claims from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley.

“I never threatened, or spoke about, to anyone, a coup of our Government,” Trump said. “So ridiculous! Sorry to inform you, but an Election is my form of ‘coup,’ and if I was going to do a coup, one of the last people I would want to do it with is General Mark Milley. He got his job only because the world’s most overrated general, James Mattis, could not stand him, had no respect for him, and would not recommend him.”

Trump said he lost all respect for Milley after they went to St. John’s Church.

“Milley choked like a dog in front of the Fake News when they told him they thought he should not have been walking with the President, which turned out to be incorrect. He apologized profusely, making it a big story, instead of saying I am proud to walk with and protect the President of the United States. Had he said that, it would have all been over, no big deal, but I saw at that moment he had no courage or skill, certainly not the type of person I would be talking ‘coup’ with.”

“I’m not into coups!” Trump continued. (Read more from “Trump Gives an All-Time Statement in Response to Coup Allegations” HERE)

Former High School Student Charged for Putting Hitler Quote in Yearbook

A former Connecticut high school student is accused of changing entries in his school’s yearbook to include a quote from Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, police said.

“It is a quite special secret pleasure how the people around us fail to realize what is really happening to them,” read one entry allegedly submitted by Hollister Tryon, incorrectly attributing Hitler’s quote to George Floyd — a black man who was murdered by a white Minneapolis cop in May 2020.

Tryon, who was barred from attending graduation at Glastonbury High School for allegedly altering the school’s 2021 yearbook, was charged Friday with two counts of third-degree computer crimes for accessing a database used by students to alter two classmates’ entries, the Hartford Courant reported.

Tryon, 18, also reportedly inserted a quote in a second student’s yearbook entry referencing drugs and Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was convicted in the April 2013 attack that killed three people and wounded more than 260 others.

The reworked entries were uncovered in May as distribution of the yearbooks began. School administrators later recalled the mementos to remove the offending material and contacted cops, the Courant reported. Poll: Over 7 Million Americans Turned Down Jobs Due to Unemployment Benefits

The generous unemployment benefits in the United States have prevented over seven million people from accepting a job offer, according to a recent Morning Consult poll.

The week before the poll was conducted, the week ending June 19, there were 14.1 million adults who received unemployment benefits, which is the most recent estimated total of recipients from both the state and federal programs.

The poll shows that the generous unemployment insurance benefits from the government have greatly reduced the number of job offers accepted by an estimated 7,050,000 million throughout the course of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

Only 50 percent have said they turned down a job because of the need to take care of children, family members, coronavirus, or health reasons.

The other 50 percent said they turned down a job because the offer was unattractive to them economically, like not enough or tooo many hours of work, did not allow remote work, and not the “desired” industry. Data Shows Illegal Border Crossings on Pace To Top 1M This Month

More than 1 million illegal crossings of the US-Mexico border will have been attempted over the first seven months of 2021, preliminary data indicates — defying expectations that the illegal immigration crisis would ease as temperatures climbed.

While US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have yet to release the official number of border encounters that took place last month, The Washington Examiner reported that initial calculations put the total at 188,000, an increase of just over 4 percent from the 180,034 apprehended in May.

If confirmed, the number of southwestern border stops would be the most in any month of June for at least 21 years. It would also be an 80 percent increase over the number of apprehensions in June 2019 and a whopping 469 percent increase over the number of encounters in June 2020, when migration patterns were affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Most shockingly, it puts CBP on track to make its 1 millionth border stop of 2021 sometime this month. The last time at least 1 million stops were recorded at the US-Mexico border in a calendar year was in 2006, and the milestone wasn’t reached until December of that year.
