‘Uncomfortable’ Teacher Instructs Students to Pledge Allegiance to Gay Pride Flag

A California teacher instructed her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom because it made her uncomfortable, according to a report. The school district has allegedly launched an investigation into the incident.

The alleged teacher was exposed by the massively popular “Libs of TikTok” account on Twitter, which has over 176,000 followers. The page shared an apparent TikTok video of the teacher explaining how she handles the morning announcements in her school, which includes the Pledge of Allegiance. . .

The teacher explained in the video that she removed the American flag from her classroom during the pandemic “because it made me uncomfortable.”

One of her students asked what he should look at while they recite the Pledge of Allegiance since there is no American flag in the classroom.

While attempting to hold back laughter, she exclaimed, “In the meantime, I tell this kid, ‘We do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to.’ And he like, looks around and goes, ‘Oh, that one?’” She then pointed to the gay pride flag. White House: Biden Not Firing Any Generals for Afghan Disaster; ‘I Am Willing To Throw It All Away to … Demand Accountability’: 17-Year Marine Veteran Loses Career After Viral Video

By Breitbart. The White House said Friday that President Joe Biden still had confidence in his generals and in Secretary of State Tony Blinken after their disastrous performance in Afghanistan.

“Yes, he does,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki replied when asked by reporters during the daily briefing if the president had confidence in Secretary of State Tony Blinken. . .

Psaki bristled when asked to respond to the articles of impeachment.

“I have no response on a day where we are still honoring the lives of men and women in the military who were lost yesterday,” she said.

Psaki also dismissed questions about whether the president felt he received faulty advice from his generals, and whether he wanted any of them to resign. (Read more from “White House: Biden Not Firing Any Generals for Afghan Disaster” HERE)

Someone Has Been Fired Over Afghanistan and It Isn’t the Generals

By Townhall. As Julio reported Friday morning, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller risked his career by speaking out against military leadership’s disastrous handling of Afghanistan. . .

“To all my friends across the social networks. I have been relieved for cause based on a lack of trust and confidence as of 14:30 today, My chain of command is doing exactly what I would do… if I were in their shoes. I appreciate the opportunities AITB command provided. To all the news agencies asking for interviews… I will not be making any statements other than what’s on my social platforms until I exit the Marine Corps,” Scheller wrote in a Facebook post. “America has many issues… but it’s my home… it’s where my three sons will become men. America is still the light shining in a fog of chaos. When my Marine Corps career comes to an end, I look forward to a new beginning. My life’s purpose is to make America the most lethal and effective foreign diplomacy instrument. While my days of hand to hand violence may be ending…I see a new light on the horizon. Semper.” (Read more from “Someone Has Been Fired Over Afghanistan and It Isn’t the Generals” HERE)

‘I Am Willing To Throw It All Away to … Demand Accountability’: 17-Year Marine Veteran Loses Career After Viral Video

By Daily Caller. Marine battalion commander Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller said in a video that he was willing to “throw” away his military career as he demanded accountability from senior leaders over the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“People are upset because their senior leaders let them down and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying ‘we messed this up,” Scheller said in the video posted Thursday on Facebook and LinkedIn that has since gone viral. The comments were noted by Task and Purpose.

“If an O-5 battalion commander has the simplest live fire incident, EO complaint. Boom. Fired,” he added. “But we have a secretary of defense that testified to Congress in May that the Afghan National Security Forces could withstand the Taliban advance. We have Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs — who the commandant is a member of that — who’s supposed to advise on military policy. We have a Marine combatant commander. All of these people are supposed to advise.”

“I’m not saying we’ve got to be in Afghanistan forever, but I am saying: Did any of you throw your rank on the table and say ‘hey, it’s a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, a strategic airbase, before we evacuate everyone,’” the 17-year Marine veteran said.

Judge Blocks DeSantis From Banning School Mask Mandates

School districts in Florida will be allowed to impose mask requirements after a district judge on Friday blocked an executive order from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) banning the mandates.

Leon County Circuit Judge John Cooper ruled in favor of a group of parents who sued DeSantis over his executive order, arguing it was unconstitutional. He ruled the order is “without legal authority” and is by definition “arbitrary” and “capricious.”

Cooper issued an injunction stopping the Department of Education from taking any action against local districts that require masks in schools without a parental opt-out.

Cooper said the state’s new “Parents’ Bill of Rights” does not allow the governor or the Department of Education to prohibit school districts from mandating masks.

“The law expressly permits school boards to adopt policies regarding the health care of students, such as a mask mandate, even if a parent disagrees,” Cooper said. “Parents’ rights are very important, but they are not without some reasonable limitations.” (Read more from “Judge Blocks DeSantis From Banning School Mask Mandates” HERE)

Top Admiral Warns of Rapid Chinese, Russian Nuclear Arms Buildup

Admiral Charles Richard, chief of U.S. Strategic Command, warned that China and Russia are building up their nuclear stockpiles at an unprecedented rate.

Richard said Thursday that China’s nuclear weapons Buildup and Russia’s advanced nuclear capabilities have prompted a reassessment of America’s ability to defend itself.

“We are in uncharted waters,” Richard said at a Hudson Institute event. “We are facing a class of potential adversaries that we haven’t had to deal with in 30 years.”

Richard’s remarks come amid a heated fight over the future of America’s nuclear arsenal, as national security staff in the White House and lawmakers such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) Push for a smaller U.S. stockpile. (Read more from “Top Admiral Warns of Rapid Chinese, Russian Nuclear Arms Buildup” HERE)

House Republicans Introduce Articles of Impeachment Against Secretary of State Blinken

Two Republican congressmen have introduced articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives against Secretary of State Antony Blinken, citing “failures of planning, execution, and leadership in Afghanistan.”

Reps. Andy Harris (R-Md.) and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) on Friday blamed Blinken for the “loss of American lives” and endangerment of “countless other American and allied lives” after a suicide bomb attack at Kabul’s international airport killed 13 U.S. service members and dozens of Afghans. An Afghanistan affiliate of ISIS took credit for the blast, which killed more than 100 people in total.

The terrorist attack and American casualties were the latest developments in what Harris called an “unmitigated catastrophe” in Afghanistan after President Joe Biden’s administration began withdrawing U.S. troops from the region. Biden’s officials were caught by complete surprise on Aug. 15 when the Taliban seized the capital Kabul and the Western-backed Afghan government and army collapsed, placing the Islamic militants in control of the country. . .

The articles of impeachment single out the State Department for promising in April that the American Embassy in Kabul could be kept open and operational for more than 1,400 American citizens in Afghanistan after U.S. troops completed their planned withdrawal, and then failing to keep that promise.

“Secretary Blinken has failed to faithfully uphold his oath and has instead presided over a reckless abandonment of our nation’s interests, security, and values in his role in the withdrawal of American forces and diplomatic assets from Afghanistan,” the articles of impeachment state. Pentagon Changes Story in Afghan Airport Suicide Bombing

The Pentagon now says only one bomb — and not two like previously reported — was detonated outside Kabul airport Thursday that killed 13 US service members and at least 169 Afghans.

Army Maj. Gen. William “Hank” Taylor admitted during a press briefing Friday that there was only one ISIS-affiliated explosion at the Abbey gate at Hamid Karzai International Airport.

US officials had previously said a second explosion – believed to be a car bomb — occurred outside the nearby Baron Hotel.

“I can confirm for you that we do not believe that there was a second explosion at or near the Baron Hotel, that it was one suicide bomber. We’re not sure how that report was provided incorrectly,” he said.

US officials are still trying to determine exact details of the attack, including how the ISIS-K bomber was able to get so close to the airport gate and detonate his suicide vest where US service members and Afghans were gathered. Joe Rogan Opposes Forced Vaccinations for Fans, Will Fully Refund Show Tickets for Anyone Who Won’t Comply With NYC Mandate

Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan will fully refund any fans who bought tickets to his upcoming show in New York City but do not want to comply with Mayor Bill de Blasio’s vaccine requirements to attend.

Rogan said on his podcast last week that he’s sold 13,000 tickets for his stand-up comedy show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Oct. 2, but was worried because he personally opposes vaccine requirements and New York City has mandated that residents show proof of vaccination to go out in public, including entertainment venues.

“I don’t know what to do, I’m stuck in this situation,” Rogan complained.

Sticking with his principles, the comedian said that any fan who wants a refund because they refuse to get vaccinated and can’t make the show will get one.

“If someone has an ideological or physiological reason for not getting vaccinated, I don’t want to force them to get vaccinated to see a f***ing stupid comedy show,” Rogan said. “And now they say that everybody has to be vaccinated, and I want everybody to know that you can get your money back.” (Read more from “Joe Rogan Opposes Forced Vaccinations for Fans, Will Fully Refund Show Tickets for Anyone Who Won’t Comply With NYC Mandate” HERE)

No Longer a Conspiracy Theory: Australia Builds More Quarantine Camps

The Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Thursday the state government’s plans to build a quarantine camp describing it as a “no-brainer.”

Palaszczuk made the announcement in a post on social media, saying the 1000-bed facility will be used to combat the “dangerous Delta variant.”

“A dedicated regional quarantine facility will be built at Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba. As we contend with the dangerous Delta variant, we need fit-for-purpose quarantine facilities,” she said in a post on Twitter.

Adding, “Australia needs regional quarantine facilities to keep us safe. It’s a no-brainer.”

The Premier said quarantine camps are the “answer” to opening up the state again, as they will help ease pressure on the current hotel quarantine system.

Ashli Babbitt’s Widower to Shooter: ‘Suck It Up’

The widower of American veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was killed by a single gunshot from a police officer during the Jan. 6 vandalism at the U.S. Capital, told a broadcast audience he has little tolerance for complaints from the police officer that he’s gotten death threats since killing Babbitt.

“Suck it up,” Aaron Babbitt said to Capitol Police officer Michael Byrd, who also gave his first interview since the killing this week.

“I don’t even want to hear him talk about how he’s getting death threats and he’s scared,” Aaron Babbitt said during an interview on Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, according to a report in the Washington Examiner.

Aaron Babbitt cited his own experience since Byrd shot his wife, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran, who was killed when she became part of a crowd that broke windows and doors at the Capital to enter that day.

It happened when Congress was scheduled to – and did – adopt the electoral results that turned over the White House to Joe Biden. Those results raised enough questions that there were lawsuits in dozens of states, and there continue to be audits, or plans for them, in several states.
