Democrats at Each Other’s Throats as Another Senator Takes Swing At Biden’s $3.5T Spending Spree Agenda

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., reiterated Thursday that she will not support a $3.5 trillion spending bill, in the latest sign of discord among key Democrats as President Biden scrambles to rally support for his signature piece of legislation.

“Senator Sinema said publicly more than two months ago, before Senate passage of the bipartisan infrastructure bill, that she would not support a bill costing $3.5 trillion,” Sinema’s office said in a statement shared on her Twitter account. “In August, she shared detailed concerns and priorities, including dollar figures, directly with Senate Majority Leader [Chuck] Schumer and the White House. Claims that the Senator has not detailed her views to President Biden and Senator Schumer are false.”

Biden has personally met with Sinema and fellow moderate Democrat holdout Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia on multiple occasions this week to negotiate an agreement on the spending bill. With a razor-thin majority, Biden needs every Senate Democrat to support his bill for it to pass.

Earlier Thursday, Manchin said he would not support a spending bill with a topline number larger than $1.5 trillion.

Sinema’s latest statement followed criticism from prominent progressives who say moderate opponents to the full spending bill have not been clear on their priorities. Critics included Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., one of many progressives who will not vote to approve the $1.2 trillion bipartisan physical infrastructure deal unless the Senate first passes a spending bill focused on social programs. CDC Urges ‘Pregnant People’ To Get COVID Vaccine

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued a health alert Wednesday urging people who are pregnant to get vaccinated against the Wuhan coronavirus.

In a press release, the CDC described it as “an urgent health advisory” and recommended that people who are pregnant, recently pregnant, or trying to become pregnant, get vaccinated to “prevent serious illness, deaths, and adverse pregnancy outcomes.” The advisory noted a large number of hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 in pregnant people along with “racial and ethnic disparities in vaccination coverage for pregnant people.”

“According to CDC data, only 31 percent of pregnant people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and vaccination rates vary markedly by race and ethnicity. Vaccination coverage is highest among Asian people who are pregnant (45.7 percent), but lower among Hispanic or Latino pregnant people (25 percent), and lowest among Black pregnant people (15.6 percent),” the press release states. Republicans Call on Marine Corps to Release Jailed LT. Col. Stu Scheller

Republicans in the House and Senate are calling on the Marine Corps to release Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, who was thrown in a military jail this week after he criticized military leadership for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal on social media and continued posting about his disposition.

According to a Marine Corps spokesperson, Scheller is currently in pre-trial confinement in the Regional Brig for Marine Corps Installations East aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune pending an Article 32 preliminary hearing. The time, date, and location of the proceedings have not been determined.

The Marine Corps notes that he has not been charged with anything but the “general nature” of offenses being considered at the hearing are:

Article 88 (contempt toward officials)
Article 90 (willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer)
Article 92 (failure to obey lawful general orders)
Article 133 (conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman)

Scheller first caught the nation’s attention after he posted a short video of himself on Facebook criticizing his leadership on August 26, the day that 11 Marines, one Navy corpsman, and one Army soldier were killed during the Biden administration’s hastily-planned non-combatant evacuation operation in Kabul. Democrat Bill Requires COVID Vax or Test for Domestic Air Travel

A bill introduced by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., would require travelers on domestic airline flights in the United States to be vaccinated for COVID-19, test negative for the disease or have had a previous infection.

The U.S. Air Travel Public Safety Act would require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to consult with the4 Federal Aviation Administration to develop national vaccination standards and procedures related to COVID-19 and domestic air travel.

“We can’t allow upcoming holiday air travel to contribute to another surge in COVID cases,” Feinstein said on Twitter.

“Today, I introduced legislation requiring passengers on domestic flights to be vaccinated, test negative or be fully recovered from a previous COVID illness.”

Donald Trump Severs Ties With Corey Lewandowski After Sexual Harassment Allegations From Republican Donor

Former President Donald Trump severed ties with Corey Lewandowski on Wednesday after he was accused of sexual harassment, a spokesman for the president confirmed.

“Corey Lewandowski will be going on to other endeavors and we very much want to thank him for his service,” wrote the Director of Communications for Save America and Donald J. Trump, Taylor Budowich, on social media. “He will no longer be associated with Trump World.”

Lewandowski, who served as Trump’s campaign manager until he was fired in June 2016, remained in Trump’s orbit throughout his presidency.

In 2021, Trump appointed him to lead Make America Great Again Action, a Super PAC backed by the former president, before the allegations surfaced,

Trump appointed former Attorney General of Florida Pam Bondi to replace Lewandowski. (Read more from “Donald Trump Severs Ties With Corey Lewandowski After Sexual Harassment Allegations From Republican Donor” HERE)

Was a Chinese Army Sergeant a Casualty of a COVID-19 Test Release?

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been numerous and persistent reports from athletes of influenza-like symptoms either during or soon after attending the Wuhan World Military Games, October 18-27, 2019.

Among other efforts to counter such evidence and avoid responsibility for the global pandemic, the Chinese Communist Party, through its propaganda outlet the Global Times, made the highly suspect claim on February 24, 2020, that five athletes hospitalized during the competition did not have COVID-19, but malaria.

So far, China has not revealed either the names of those athletes or their nationalities.

According to the World Health Organization, there has not been a single indigenous case of malaria in China since 2017 and 95% of malaria cases in the world occur in a relatively small group of Sub-Saharan African countries.

There were no more than 280 athletes from Sub-Saharan countries attending the 2019 Wuhan World Military Games from which five cases of malaria were diagnosed, a very high percentage indeed.

Medical records for the years 2011 to 2018 published by Wuhan physicians list a total of 296 malaria cases, 96% of which were from those arriving in Wuhan from Africa.

It stretches credulity to claim there were five cases of malaria within a narrow nine-day period and among a group of highly fit and medically screened young people.

Was it COVID-19?

Perhaps not coincidentally, a 23-year-old Chinese Army Sergeant, Fu Sen, died of malaria on November 26, 2019, after being unsuccessfully treated in China for over 400 days.

Fu Sen reportedly contracted the disease while serving as a medical worker during a Chinese military deployment to South Sudan. He was assigned to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Hospital in the Wuchang District of Wuhan, the epicenter of the initial COVID-19 outbreak.

Oddly, as if trying to make a point, the death of this one PLA sergeant, allegedly from easily treatable malaria, made national headlines in China and his story was distributed internationally in English.

Based on a source in Wuhan, China, present during the initial phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and familiar with PLA operations, a[n] article reported that a test release of COVID-19 was conducted by the PLA during the Wuhan World Military Games.

The source explained that the subsequent outbreak in Wuhan was entirely unexpected. That is, there was no laboratory leak, but the unintended spread among the Chinese population of Wuhan of a virus for which the PLA had underestimated its transmissibility.

Was Fu Sen part of the PLA team conducting that test and was his death the result of exposure to COVID-19?

The reports of influenza-like symptoms from athletes and the death of Fu Sen both fit the timeline for the onset of the pandemic.

Chinese defector Wei Jingsheng also claimed recently that COVID-19 was deliberately released during the Wuhan World Military Games.

A critical question remaining is why are the U.S. and Canadian governments withholding information about the dozens of their military athletes who experienced symptoms identical to COVID-19 either during or soon after attending the Wuhan Games?

Last Year’s Heroes, This Year’s Scapegoats: Frontline Workers Livelihoods at Stake Over Vaccine Mandates

Essential workers were heralded last year as heroes as they continued in-person work while the coronavirus spread across the nation. Now, those same workers are facing terminations and resignations due to vaccine mandates implemented by the government and private organizations.

“We worked hard,” Indiana nurse Sheila Burleson told Fox News, referring to healthcare workers who continued caring for patients during the pandemic. “I came home and cried, fell to my knees and cried … I had five people die in one day.”

Now, she is out of a job after not complying with a vaccine mandate at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, and she’s no longer “even proud to wear” the “frontline heroes” shirts that were popular last year. . .

“We were celebrated last year,” fellow Indiana nurse Adara Allen told Fox News. “But a few nurses did end up leaving due to [the hospital] not accepting their medical issues or having a reaction or adverse effect to the first dose of the covid vaccine.”

Allen previously worked at Eskenazi Health but was told to no longer come into work due to her refusing the vaccine. She is pregnant, and though the CDC recommends the vaccine for pregnant women, her pregnancy is considered high-risk. Allen previously suffered a miscarriage and has issues with blood clots. ‘I Fear the President Is Delusional,’ Pol Says of Biden Withdrawal at Milley Hearing (VIDEO)

The Ranking Member of the House Armed Services committee slammed President Biden on Wednesday for the “extraordinary disaster” of the chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan in which 13 service members were killed, calling the president “delusional” in his assessment of the event.

In his opening statement prior to hearing the testimony of Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) accused Biden of misleading the American people after vowing to stay in Afghanistan until all Americans were out, adding that the withdrawal operation “will go down in history as one of the greatest failures of American leadership.” . . .

“This wasn’t an extraordinary success, it was an extraordinary disaster. It will go down in history as one of the greatest failures of American leadership.”

Milley appeared before the House Armed Services Committee on Wednesday for a second day to review the 20-year Afghanistan war and the botched withdrawal that ultimately led to the deaths of 13 US service members.

Hillary Clinton Bombarded With Accusations She’s a ‘War Criminal’

Hillary Clinton, who famously embroiled herself in scandal during her failed 2016 run for the presidency, her second loss in the race, by putting national security secrets on a private email server in her home, was the target of derogatory accusations on a trip to Belfast.

Clinton, who also repeated for years her claims that President Donald Trump was not legitimately elected, was at Queen’s University there to be inaugurated as chancellor.

According to a report from Political Insider, she is bombarded with shouts of “war criminal” as she climbed the steps. . .

[Warning: video contains explicit language.]

“While she served as Senator Clinton for the state of New York in 2002, Clinton voted for the Iraq War. That vote was used against her during the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries by rival Barack Obama, who campaigned heavily on opposing then-President George W. Bush’s wars,” the Political Insider explained. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Bombarded With Accusations She’s a ‘War Criminal’” HERE)

Poll Shows Most Americans Wildly Overestimate COVID Hospitalization Risks: Is the Media To Blame?

A new Gallup poll shows that when it comes to COVID risks, a lot of Americans have no idea what’s going on.

The poll, involving 3,158 adult Americans, tells us that 41% of Democrats believe the unvaccinated have a 50% chance of being hospitalized because of COVID. Independents believe the correct number is 26%, while Republicans came in at 22%. The correct answer: Fewer than 1% of unvaccinated people infected with COVID will have to go to the hospital.

While Republicans were more likely to overestimate the risk of vaccinated COVID patients being admitted to a hospital, both groups are off by a mile. . .

In a rare example of media professionalism, Germany’s largest newspaper Bild (German for “Photograph”) actually apologized to the children of Germany for their COVID scare tactics. Don’t count on Don Lemon being so scrupulous.

In a ghoulish attempt at journalism, Don Lemon went to the hospital where he was born to ask patients struggling with COVID if they regret not getting vaccinated. The answers likely surprised him.
