Will Elon Musk Become the World’s First Trillionaire?

The richest man on Earth could be well on his way to becoming the world’s first trillionaire with the help of his private space-exploration company.

Elon Musk earlier this month reclaimed his title for richest person in the world from Amazon founder and space rival Jeff Bezos due to surging Tesla stock that put his net worth above the $200 billion mark. According to Forbes, the Tesla and SpaceX founder is currently worth nearly $220 billion.

But while Musk’s wealth is largely attributed to the electric-car maker’s success, a Morgan Stanley analyst predicts Musk could venture into trillionaire territory with SpaceX, which currently makes up about 17 percent of Musk’s net worth, according to Bloomberg. The company was valued at $100 billion earlier this month, making it the world’s second-biggest privately held company.

Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas wrote in a note to investors that the company’s Starship rocket technology “has the potential to transform investor expectations around the space industry,” according to CNBC.

“As one client put it: ‘talking about space before Starship is like talking about the internet before Google,” Jonas reportedly wrote. (Read more from “Will Elon Musk Become the World’s First Trillionaire?” HERE)

Trump Announces New Social Media Platform

Former President Donald Trump announced he is launching a new social media platform designed to compete with Big Tech.

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) announced Wednesday it was creating a new social media platform called TRUTH Social designed to “fight back against the ‘Big Tech’ companies of Silicon Valley.” . . .

“I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced,” Trump said in a press release. “This is unacceptable.”

A beta version of the platform will be available to invited guests this November, according to the press release, and is currently available for pre-order in the Apple App Store. The full version of the platform is expected to be out in the first quarter of 2022. (Read more from “Trump Announces New Social Media Platform” HERE)

CDC Warns About Vegetable-Linked Salmonella Outbreak in 37 States

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning that a salmonella outbreak believed to be linked to onions imported from Chihuahua, Mexico, has spread to 37 states — sickening over 650 people.

The CDC directed businesses on Wednesday evening to stop selling fresh whole red, white, or yellow onions that were imported from Chihuahua and distributed by ProSource Inc.

It also suggested businesses clean any surfaces that may have touched such onions.

The agency urged Americans to throw away any whole red, white, or yellow onions that don’t have a sticker or packaging.

People should also throw out onions that have stickers or packaging identifying the brand ProSource and Mexico as the country of origin, the agency said. (Read more from “CDC Warns About Vegetable-linked Salmonella Outbreak in 37 States” HERE)

Hunter Biden Boasted He Could Provide Intel for Cash on Russian Oligarch Targeted by the Feds

Hunter Biden boasted he could provide intelligence on the shady Russian oligarch whose Greenwich Village townhouse was raided by the FBI on Tuesday.

The president’s son said he could provide Alcoa, a giant US aluminium firm, with knowledge about the “elite networks” connected to Oleg Deripaska in a proposal from his company Rosemont Seneca, emails on Hunter’s laptop show.

Federal agents carried out “law enforcement activity” on Tuesday at the Gay Street townhouse and a Washington mansion tied to Deripaska, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Deripaska was investigated for money laundering and extortion and sanctioned by the US in 2018. A spokesperson for Deripaska told the Associated Press that the searches were “connected to U.S. sanctions” and that the homes didn’t belong to him but belonged to relatives.

Hunter Biden in 2011 offered to “provide Alcoa with statistical analysis of political and corporate risks, elite networks associated with Oleg Deripaska (OD), Russian CEO of Basic Element company and United company RUSAL,” reveal documents on the laptop he abandoned at a MacBook repair shop in Delaware in April 2019. RUSAL is a Russian aluminum company.

In an email to Daniel Cruise, Alcoa’s then-Vice President of Government and Public Affairs, on June 3, 2011, Hunter wrote: “Please see the attached proposal per our last conversation . . . we tried to provide a little better sense of the product by attaching some of the raw data that is produced through the elite mapping procedure.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden Boasted He Could Provide Intel for Cash on Russian Oligarch Targeted by the Feds” HERE)

Federal Reserve: Businesses Say Vaccine Mandates Are Hurting Employment

The Federal Reserve on Thursday said that businesses have reported COVID-19 vaccine mandates have hurt employment and are contributing to labor supply problems—even before President Joe Biden’s previously announced vaccine mandate for private businesses goes into effect.

While employment increased at a modest to moderate rate in recent weeks, the Fed’s so-called Beige Book noted that the U.S. economy has been “dampened by a low supply of workers,” partially due to vaccine mandates.

“Transportation and technology firms saw particularly low labor supply, while many retail, hospitality, and manufacturing firms cut hours or production because they did not have enough workers,” its report summary said. “Firms reported high turnover, as workers left for other jobs or retired. Child-care issues and vaccine mandates were widely cited as contributing to the problem, along with COVID-related absences.”

Individual Fed banks said they have heard of employees quitting over mandates. While the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia reported that few businesses lost employees over the mandates, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta reported that companies were worried that implementing a vaccine requirement could cost them workers.

“Most employers shared that they would like to implement COVID-19 vaccine mandates but were concerned about losing employees,” the Atlanta Fed said in the report. “Worries about employee mental health, burnout, safety, and vaccine mandates impacting company culture were mentioned.” (Read more from “Federal Reserve: Businesses Say Vaccine Mandates Are Hurting Employment” HERE)

Dave Chappelle Doubles Down, Planning U.S. Tour if Netflix Cancels ‘The Closer’

Comedian Dave Chappelle is doubling down on his jokes from The Closer, reportedly saying he will mount a U.S. tour if Netflix caves to pressure from 2SLGBTQQIA+ groups and pulls the comedy special.

Variety spoke to fans who attended a sold-out Chappelle performance in London on Wednesday. No media was allowed in the performance, which reportedly required all cell phones, cameras, and recording devices to be locked away in magnetic pouches.

The fans said Dave Chappelle indicated he would visit ten cities across the U.S. to screen The Closer if Netflix yanked the show from its platform. Netflix executives have so far given no indication that they will pull the show despite calls from some activist groups and celebrities to do so.

Variety said the few London fans it spoke to confirmed Chappelle mentioned the Netflix controversy during his set, indicating the protest in Los Angeles “wasn’t favorable.”

“He just wants us all to get along,” one attendee reportedly said. Another said Chappelle appeared “baffled” by the accusations. (Read more from “Dave Chappelle Doubles Down, Planning U.S. Tour if Netflix Cancels ‘The Closer’” HERE)

Video footage posted online shows several people, many with boots in hand and some donning firefighting helmets, walking up steps to the building.

The video clips come as the city-imposed deadline for all first responders to take the jab expired on Tuesday at midnight, which left those who had not complied unemployed. (Read more from “Seattle Police, Firefighters Who Refused Vaccine, Drop Their Boots on City Hall After Being Fired” HERE)

In-N-Out Exec: We Refuse To Be ‘Vaccination Police for Any Government’

In-N-Out Burger is taking a firm stand against San Francisco COVID-19 restrictions that require businesses to check the vaccination status of customers before serving them food — a stand that has forced the restaurant to temporarily close down in at least one of its locations.

As highlighted by The Daily Wire on Tuesday, a San Fransisco In-N-Out Burger location was shut down for not checking customers’ vaccine status. The restaurant has opened up outdoors, but its indoor dining is still closed for refusal to comply with the health order.

In the wake of the forced closure, In-N-Out Burger’s Chief Legal and Business Officer Arnie Wensinger slammed the order as discriminatory, underscoring that the company, headed by 39-year-old Lynsi Snyder, refuses to become “the vaccination police for any government.”

“Our store properly and clearly posted signage to communicate local vaccination requirements,” Wensinger explained in a statement sent to Fox News. “After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant Associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every Customer, then act as enforcement personnel by barring entry for any Customers without the proper documentation.”

“‘We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” said Wensinger, adding that the San Francisco Department of Health’s requirements are “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe.” (Read more from “In-N-Out Exec: We Refuse To Be ‘Vaccination Police for Any Government’” HERE)

Evil Biden Administration Pushes Supreme Court to Halt Texas Heartbeat Law

The Biden administration on Monday asked the Supreme Court to block the Texas Heartbeat Act, accusing the state of “nullifying” the constitutional rights of its citizens.

The Texas law, also called S.B. 8, allows private citizens to sue abortion providers if they perform abortions once a fetal heartbeat is detectable. A 5-4 Court in September refused to block implementation of the law, rebuffing an emergency appeal from abortion clinics in Texas. The Justice Department says its claim is different because the federal government has a special duty to stop end-runs around the Constitution.

“The United States has a sovereign interest in ensuring the supremacy of federal law by preventing a state from suspending a constitutional right within its borders,” the government’s emergency appeal reads.

The Biden administration has taken the lead in the legal fight against the Texas Heartbeat Act. Apart from Monday’s emergency appeal, Attorney General Merrick Garland has promised to step up prosecutions under a federal law that forbids injuring, intimidating, or interfering with patients or workers near abortion clinics. And President Joe Biden has promised a “whole-of-government” response to the law.

The Justice Department also suggested the Court should add the Texas case to its regular docket and resolve the case through normal process. The justices would hear arguments sometime in early 2022, with a decision to follow by summer. (Read more from “Biden Pushes Supreme Court to Halt Texas Heartbeat Law” HERE)
