Last week the corrupt media’s penchant for spinning all things conservative caused a near-fatal case of whiplash.

The left began by chastising conservatives for supposedly building “its own echo chamber,” but by the next day, when news broke that Devin Nunes was resigning from Congress to serve as the CEO of Donald Trump’s new media company, the complained-of conservative ecosystem merely represented grift. Both narratives are false, however, which is precisely why leftists peddled them so hard.

Axios launched the “echo chamber” accusation with its article titled, “Right wing builds its own echo chamber.” “Conservatives are aggressively building their own apps, phones, cryptocurrencies and publishing houses in an attempt to circumvent what they see as an increasingly liberal internet and media ecosystem,” the Axios article began.

The article then highlighted plans for the YouTube alternative Rumble and Trump’s social media company, Truth Social, to expand their reach by taking the companies public. Also highlighted was the social app Gettr that former-Trump aide Jason Miller launched, as well as conservative efforts to compete in cryptocurrency, phones, cloud storage, and book publishing. Biden’s Woke DOD: ‘Workplace and Gender Relations’ Survey Asks Troops to Gauge Their Misogyny

By Breitbart. The Department of Defense (DOD) recently sent out a survey on “workplace and gender relations” to active-duty service members that asks about their attitudes towards women, which some service members are criticizing as “inappropriate.”

The roughly 40-page voluntary survey, sent out December 9 and obtained in full by Breitbart News, has a section called “Social Perceptions & Experiences” that lists a series of statements about women that appear aimed at gauging attitudes within the military towards women.

Respondents are asked to indicate the degree with which they agree, ranging from Strongly agree, Somewhat agree, Slightly agree, Slightly Disagree, Somewhat Disagree, Strongly Disagree.

Some statements appear aimed at gauging whether the respondent has more traditional views about women.

Biden’s Winter Warning: ‘Severe Illness and Death’ for Unvaccinated

President Biden on Thursday warned of a winter of “severe illness and death” for unvaccinated Americans as coronavirus cases spike across the country.

Biden, in a meeting with medical advisers and Vice President Harris to discuss the pandemic, said the country was in a better position to deal with the omicron variant of COVID-19 because of steps taken to limit travel and increase access to boosters.

“But it’s here now and it’s spreading, and it’s gonna increase,” Biden said of the omicron variant, which experts think is more contagious than previous strains.

“For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death… for themselves, their families and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm,” Biden continued. “But there’s good news. How George Soros Funded Progressive ‘Legal Arsonist’ DAS Behind US Crime Surge

For the last several years, billionaire philanthropist George Soros has been quietly financing a revolution in criminal justice reform, doling out tens of millions of dollars to progressive candidates in district attorney races throughout the country amid movements to abolish bail and defund the police.

Working with an activist attorney, Soros, 91, mainly funnels cash through a complicated web of federal and state political action committees as well as non-profits from coast to coast, public records show.

Last year, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, a nonprofit in Soros’ orbit, gave $3 million to the Community Resource Hub for Safety and Accountability, according to a recent report. The group provides resources to “local advocates and organizations working to address the harm of policing in the US.”

Hungarian-born philanthropist Soros and his Open Society group of non-profits have mainly doled out cash to political action campaigns controlled by attorney and criminal justice reform activist Whitney Tymas, 60. She is the treasurer of the Justice and Safety PAC as well as 20 other similarly named groups at both the state and federal levels, according to public filings.

The goal of the myriad PACs is focused on electing progressives to end tough policing and mass incarceration, according to Tymas. “If we are to reach a place of true progress, it will take the sustained efforts of local elected prosecutors across the country to rectify and reimagine their role in the criminal legal system — not just as gatekeepers, but as active catalysts for change,” wrote Tymas in an opinion article last year. 12 Christian Missionaries Released After Being Held Hostage by Haitian Gang

After being kidnapped and held hostage by a dangerous Haitian gang for two months, the remaining captives of a group of 17 Christian missionaries have finally been freed.

A spokesman for the Haitian police, Gary Desrosiers, confirmed to CBS News on Thursday that the last 12 captives were set free this week. Two hostages had previously been released in November, and then three others were released earlier this month.

Christian Aid Ministries also confirmed the news in a celebratory statement Thursday, saying, “We glorify God for answered prayer — the remaining twelve hostages are FREE! Join us in praising God that all seventeen of our loved ones are now safe. Thank you for your fervent prayers throughout the past two months. We hope to provide more information as we are able.”

The group then quoted a Bible verse, Exodus 15:1b, which says, “I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously.”

Republican Rep. CDC Panel Downgrades This COVID Vaccine Due to Blood-Clot Deaths

Due to concerns about blood clots, an advisory panel to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention unanimously voted to recommend the two-dose Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines over the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The CDC released new data this week showing more cases of blood clots have occurred since the agency temporarily halted Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine in April, Fox Business reported. . .

Researchers have found that women between the ages of 30 and 49 are most affected by the blood clotting. The estimated rate of occurrence is about 1 in 100,000 shots.

CDC official Dr. Isaac See said Thursday that health officials have confirmed 54 cases of blood clotting related to the J&J vaccine. Nine have been fatal, and two more deaths are suspected to be related to blood clotting.

Biden’s Newest Department of Education Pick Is a Race and Gender Radical

President Joe Biden’s new nominee to the U.S. Department of Education is a frequent promoter of the critical race ideology that parents around the nation have strongly opposed.

LaWanda Toney, the director of strategic communications at the National Parent Teacher Association (National PTA), was nominated by Biden to be assistant secretary for the Office of Communications and Outreach on Wednesday. While the White House bragged about Toney’s experience in the media and education fields, her nomination appears to be another attempt by the administration to usher in an era of critical race-based thinking that parents and legislators across the United States have banded together to denounce.

In addition to her communications role, Toney also frequently co-hosts a National PTA podcast called “Notes from the Backpack” where she often discusses and promotes radical race and gender ideology with left-wing “anti-racist” and LGBT experts such as people from the Human Rights Campaign. J6 Committee Fabricates More Evidence, Says Trump Waited 187 Minutes to Call for Peace. It Was Actually 25

Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney went after former President Donald Trump in her prime-time performance on Monday claiming that private messages of the president’s staff revealed an apathetic leader complicit in the riot at the Capitol as the attack unfolded.

“The violence was evident to all — it was covered in real time by almost every news channel,” said Cheney, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked vice chair of the Select Committee on January 6. “But, for 187 minutes, President Trump refused to act when action by our president was required, indeed essential, and compelled by his oath to our Constitution.”

Trump’s 187-minute delay to action, she added, was a “supreme dereliction of duty.” An actual examination of the day’s events, however, shows no such delay.

According to a detailed timeline of the turmoil by The New York Times, the first building was not breached until about 2:13 p.m. The timeline was corroborated by The Washington Post, which stamped the first break-in at 2:15 p.m. Trump’s first tweet addressing the upheaval shortly followed at 2:38 p.m., when the president made a plea for peace, writing, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

Man Kicked off Flight After He Protests Mask Policy by Wearing a Thong Over His Face

A Florida man was kicked off a United Airlines flight Wednesday for wearing a thong over his head as a face mask.

Adam Jenne believes the face mask requirement for air travel is ridiculous, so he wanted to attempt to follow the rule in a silly way, according to Fox 4.

“There’s nothing more absurd than having to wear a mask until I get to cruising altitude so I can order Tito’s by the double and snack on pretzels, and illustrating that absurdity by wearing women’s underwear on my face sounds perfect,” Jenne said, reported Fox 4.

Mom Says 5-Year-Old Child Accessed Porn Website, ‘Inappropriate Content’ With School Ipad

Students at a Wisconsin school district were able to access pornography on their school’s iPads for months due to a lack of “working” filters, according to the mom of a student who accessed the material and spoke during the public comment portion of the district’s school board meeting Tuesday.

Kindergarteners at Burleigh Elementary School at Elmbrook Schools in Brookfield, Wisconsin were exposed to pornography and “other inappropriate content” on a school-issued iPad, because it had “no working filter” outside of the school environment between September 2021 and Nov. 22, 2021, mother Elizabeth Theis said during the public comment portion of the school board meeting.

The school district told the Daily Caller News Foundation that it “checked those devices and did not find any access to inappropriate content.” . . .

“So all 5k [kindergarteners] and first graders in the Elmbrook school district who brought home iPads this fall had unfiltered access to the internet,” she said.

“On one occasion this fall while at home, my five year old child on the school issued iPad, typed in searches like E, F, F, G, G, [on Google] and accessed multiple pages on a pornography website, videos on YouTube of people smoking, a Russian password hacking website and a YouTube like website with absurd, inappropriate videos from all over the world,” she added.
