The 12 Cities Smashing Annual Homicide Records Have This in Common

As shocking videos of smash and grab robberies committed by roving bands of shoplifters continue to pop up across the country and violent crime trends upwards from coast to coast, Democrats continue to deny the crises afflicting their communities. But things have gotten so deadly on the streets of American cities from coast to coast that even ABC News is ringing the alarm.

According to an infographic they published based on data gathered from police departments, twelve U.S. cities have broken their annual homicide records in 2021 — and every one is run by Democrats.

Several cities are breaking the records set last year, while others are seeing the deadliest year in decades.

St. Paul, Minnesota, surpassed 35 homicides on December 2nd, more than 2020. Democrat Mayor Melvin Carter has been at the helm since 2018.

In Portland, Oregon — where Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler has been in charge since 2017 — there have been 72 homicides as of October 24th, the highest number since 1987. (Read more from “The 12 Cities Smashing Annual Homicide Records Have This in Common” HERE)

12 Major Cities Homicide Rates in USA: These Cities Hit All-Time Homicide Records

By Get India News. . .Philadelphia, a city of roughly 1.5 million people, has had more homicides this year, there have been about 521 cases as of 6th December which is more than the nations two largest cities, New York seems to have around 443 cases as of 5th December and Los Angeles as of 352 dating to 27th November, that is an increase of 13% from the year 2020, a year which nearly broke the 1990 record.

Chicago is the third-largest city in the nation, it leads the nation with 739 homicides as of the end of November, the count has raised about 13% from the year 2020, according to Chicago police department crime data, Chicago’s deadliest year remains 1970 when there were 974 homicides.

The record of Philadelphia’s homicide got broken in the same week that Columbus, Louisville, and Indianapolis strained law enforcement staffing. there has been a pronounced decline when it comes to the arrest and continuing hardships from the pandemic but there is no clear answer across the board.

Five cities have surpassed records set in the year 2020, there are other major cities that have surpassed yearly homicide records are St. Paul, Minnesota; Portland, Oregon; Tucson, Arizona; Toledo, Ohio; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Austin, Texas; Rochester, New York; and Albuquerque, New Mexico, these cities have broken their records back in the month of August.
