Experts Reveal the One Thing That Could Finally ‘Shut Down’ COVID-19

It may be the Omicron variant — not any particular government policy or public health strategy — that ultimately “shuts down” the COVID-19 pandemic, according to experts.

There’s ample evidence that Omicron is a milder strain of COVID-19 than previous versions, such as Delta. Several doctors and health experts who spoke with the Daily Caller said that a more infectious, less deadly form of COVID-19 spreading rapidly throughout the population could ultimately result in a post-pandemic state of widespread natural immunity.

Researchers have found that Omicron is far less likely to put someone in the hospital or be fatal than earlier strains of COVID-19. It’s also highly contagious, leading to skyrocketing record case numbers in the U.S. and elsewhere. In addition to almost two-thirds of Americans who are fully vaccinated, any individual who has survived a bout with COVID-19 has been conferred some level of natural immunity that will lessen their chance of reinfection or serious illness in the future.

While most natural immunity studies and research occurred before Omicron was dominant, there’s no reason to believe this variant won’t confer strong levels of protection to survivors as well, Dr. Martin Kulldorff, an epidemiologist and former professor at the Harvard School of Medicine, told the Daily Caller. Senator Slams ‘Sexist’ Biden for Calling Fox News Reporter’s Question ‘Stupid’

Sen. Marsha Blackburn has claimed President Biden was being “sexist” when he called Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich’s inquiry about Russia-Ukraine tensions “stupid” on Thursday.

“This is extremely sexist and uncalled for. @JacquiHeinrich is a well-prepared, smart reporter, and Biden should apologize immediately,” Blackburn (R-Tenn.) tweeted.

Biden made the snipe Thursday afternoon as reporters were being shooed out of the White House-adjacent Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

“Why are you waiting on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to make the first move, sir?” Heinrich asked.

The president gave a disbelieving look and muttered to a group of science policy advisers, “What a stupid question.” (Read more from “Senator Slams ‘Sexist’ Biden for Calling Fox News Reporter’s Question ‘Stupid’” HERE)

Judge Who Shamed Cancer-Stricken Man Over Lawn Apologizes

A Michigan judge who berated a cancer patient for overgrown weeds outside his home has apologized, saying she’s “very embarrassed” by her actions in court.

Hamtramck District Court Judge Alexis Krot has admitted that she went too far after she ridiculed Burhan Chowdhury, 72, during a hearing on Jan. 10.

“I made a mistake,” Krot said in a statement Tuesday. “I acted intemperately. I’m very embarrassed that I did so. I apologize to the person who appeared before me and to our entire community for having failed to meet the high standards that we expect of our judicial officers, and that I expect of myself.”

Krot said she reported herself to a state commission that looks into judicial misconduct. Footage of the proceeding when the irate judge ordered Chowdhury to pay a $100 fine went viral last week.

“I had no legal duty to report myself to the commission,” she said. “But I did so because, like apologizing to the community, it was the right thing to do. I will continue to hold myself to the standards I set for others.” (Read more from “Judge Who Shamed Cancer-Stricken Man Over Lawn Apologizes” HERE)

Biden Approval Hits Two Record Lows After Disastrous Press Conference; White House Gaslighting America, Trying to Convince U.S. ‘Biden Didn’t Say What We All Heard Him Say’

The early polling after His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s disastrous press conference sees the enfeebled president hitting two record lows in the RealClearPolitics poll of polls.

For the first time in his failed presidency, Biden’s average approval rating has sunk to a dismal 40.5 percent.

Additionally, for the first time in his failed presidency, Biden’s average disapproval rating has hit an all-time high of 55.3 percent.

His Fraudulency is now upside-down by a whopping 14.8 points.

While we will know more about the post-press conference polling after the weekend, it is no surprise to see the numbers headed in this direction directly after that shambolic Wednesday afternoon White House press conference. BYU Is Under Federal Investigation for How It ‘Disciplines’ LGBTQ Students

The U.S. Department of Education has opened a civil-rights investigation into how LGBTQ students are disciplined at Brigham Young University, a private religious school.

The complaint under investigation came after the school said it would still enforce a ban on same-sex dating even after that section was removed from the written version of the school’s honor code, the Salt Lake Tribune reported. Students can be punished for holding hands or kissing someone of the same sex, harsher discipline than that faced by heterosexual couples at the school operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

BYU removed its written ban on “homosexual behavior,” in early 2020, prompting students to publicly come out as members of the LGBTQ community. But the school clarified a few weeks later that same-sex dating is still prohibited, even if it’s no longer expressly written in the honor code. It also bans things such as alcohol consumption, beards and piercings. (Read more from “BYU Is Under Federal Investigation for How It ‘Disciplines’ LGBTQ Students” HERE)

A Scandal for Every Month: The Biggest Botches, Failures, and Mess-Ups of Joe Biden’s First 12 Months in Office

Joe Biden has been in the Oval Office (or that weird set in the Eisenhower building’s South Court auditorium with the greenscreen windows) for a year now, and he’s already managed to make his short presidency known for a long line-up of scandals, botches, and slip-ups.

It’s too hard to narrow the list down to one top failure, although his disgracefully handled Afghanistan withdrawal may be the most sobering and inflation may be the one that played the biggest role in Biden’s tanking approval ratings. Even though Biden’s mess-ups tally up to far more than 12, it’s not hard to remember a Biden-enabled disaster for every month of the septuagenarian’s first year at the stern … or in the basement. . .

On his first day in office, President Joe Biden signed a list of radically left-wing executive orders, including an order requiring that schools must ignore the biological differences between male and female students from the athletic field to the bathroom if they wish to continue receiving federal funding. In Biden’s first week, Press Secretary Jen Psaki also signaled the administration’s plans to reinstate federal funding for abortions around the world with the reversal of the Mexico City policy, and the new president canceled the Keystone XL pipeline. . .

In February, Biden’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced strict reopening guidelines that would keep many schools around the country shut down. “Only K-12 schools in cities and areas with low or moderate virus transmission can fully reopen for in-person learning, as long as physical distancing and mask-wearing is enforced,” Jordan Boyd reported on Feb. 12. “Any transmission rate beyond what is designated as moderate requires hybrid learning or ‘reduced attendance,’ limiting which children are allowed in the classroom at the same time.” . . .

As The Washington Post first reported, the Biden White House spent the month of March plotting with corporations to develop a “vaccine passport” system to force Americans to show their Covid papers in order to participate fully in society. “The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones, which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass,” the Post noted. Natural Immunity Superior to Vaccination Against Delta Variant

People who had previously been infected with COVID-19 were better protected against the Delta variant than those who were vaccinated alone, suggesting that natural immunity was a more potent shield than vaccines against that variant, California and New York health officials reported on Wednesday.

Protection against Delta was highest, however, among people who were both vaccinated and had survived a previous COVID infection, and lowest among those who had never been infected or vaccinated, the study found.

Nevertheless, vaccination remains the safest strategy against COVID-19, according to the report published in U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

The results do not apply to the Omicron variant of the virus, which now accounts for 99.5% of COVID-19 cases in the United States.

“The evidence in this report does not change our vaccination recommendations,” Dr. Ben Silk of the CDC and one of the study’s authors told a media briefing. (Read more from “Natural Immunity Superior to Vaccination Against Delta Variant” HERE)

Lawsuit: 99.7 Percent of Kids Banned From School Under COVID Rules Were Healthy

An Indiana judge is allowing a parent lawsuit against the governor’s mask and quarantine rules for schools to move ahead as efforts to end the science-defying, child-harming mandates stall in the state legislature.

Last week an Indiana judge ruled that the parent plaintiffs have provided enough evidence of a legitimate legal complaint to move forward with the case. The governor, their local school board, the state health department, and others the parents sued had moved to dismiss the suit.

But Allen County Superior Court Judge David Avery said a trial is required to determine if government officials are violating state law with their rules that cause constant mass quarantining of healthy children and disruptions to Hoosier children’s education. Public education is a right guaranteed by Indiana’s state constitution.

Out of more than 3,000 children quarantined under the state’s rules last year in Northwest Allen County Schools, fewer than 10 had Covid-19, said the parents’ attorney, Kevin Mitchell, to a local radio station this week. That means approximately 99.7 percent of quarantined kids didn’t have Covid but were still barred from school for one to two weeks with each quarantine.

Mitchell said he expected the numbers across the state were largely similar. He also said parents saw a school employee literally walking around with a six-foot stick to “abide by regulations and figure out the quarantines.” (Read more from “Lawsuit: 99.7 Percent of Kids Banned From School Under COVID Rules Were Healthy” HERE)

Starbucks Nixes Employee Vaccine Mandate After Supreme Court Ruling

Starbucks will not require its US-based employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, just days after the Supreme Court struck down the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 workers.

The Seattle-based coffee chain, which employs some 228,000 workers in 8,000 stores in the US, had imposed a vaccine mandate in line with federal guidelines. But in a 6-3 vote last week, the high court blocked the Biden administration from requiring large companies to impose a vaccine-or-testing mandate on its work force.

“We respect the Court’s ruling and will comply,” Starbucks COO John Culver wrote in a Tuesday memo to employees.

Culver wrote that “we continue to believe strongly in the spirit and intent of the mandate” and that the company would “strongly encourage vaccination and boosters” as well as “disclosure” of vaccination status.

Starbucks told the Associated Press that while 90% have reported their status, the “vast majority” of workers are fully vaccinated. The company declined to give a specific number. (Read more from “Starbucks Nixes Employee Vaccine Mandate After Supreme Court Ruling” HERE)

The Soros Dozen: Meet the Dark Money-Backed Prosecutors Letting Crime Flourish

Left-wing billionaire and Democrat donor George Soros has turned his attention in recent years to local races for prosecutor, using his money to elect “progressives” who push “criminal justice reform” and support the Black Lives Matter movement.

The rise of these Soros-backed prosecutors has coincided with a massive surge in murder and crime in many Democrat-run cities, including many where these prosecutors have implemented radical policies toward policing and incarceration.

Most recently, for example, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón has faced criticism for his radical reforms in the year since he took office, while murders soared. “The city last year experienced 397 murders, up 11.8 percent from the 355 the previous year, and a 53.9 percent increase from the 258 in the pre-pandemic year of 2019,” Los Angeles magazine noted.

These murders included the shooting death of Jacqueline Avant, a black philanthropist and the wife of legendary music producer Clarence Avant, who was killed during a robbery in her home. Gascón blamed the “system” for her death.

More recently, a young woman, Brianna Kupfer, was stabbed to death in broad daylight in the furniture store where she worked. Her alleged killer was out on bail for a 2020 arrest in Los Angeles and a 2019 arrest in South Carolina. Her father blamed politicians who had let criminals roam free — a growing sentiment in cities where Soros-backed prosecutors rule.
