It Just Gets Worse: Biden Approval Craters to New Low at 1-Year Mark

A one year anniversary in a new job is usually a cause for celebration. Not for President Joe Biden. He ends his first year in the White House with a clear majority of Americans underwhelmed by his handling of the presidency in the face of an unrelenting pandemic, roaring inflation, a stalled legislative agenda, and supply chain bottlenecks.

Poll results released Thursday from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research held the grim news of a collapse in public confidence for Biden and his team.

More Americans disapprove than approve of how Biden is handling his job as president, 56 percent to 43 percent, the results show. As of now, just 28 percent of Americans say they want Biden to run for re-election in 2024, including only 48 percent of Democrats.

Asked on Wednesday at a rare news conference about his flagging popularity, Biden responded, “I don’t believe the polls,” which on the evidence is probably reassuring for his own ego but is unlikely to ease fears within his administration he is on the right track.

AP reports the latest poll shows Americans’ confidence in Biden’s handling of the pandemic — seen as a strength early in his administration — has further eroded as the omicron variant strains the health care system and further exhausts an American electorate that had hoped life would be back to a semblance of normalcy by now. Afghanistan Replaces North Korea as Worst Country for Christian Persecution After Biden’s Disastrous Withdrawal

Afghanistan sits at the top of a new ranking of the world’s worst countries for Christian persecution after President Joe Biden’s disastrous military withdrawal and the Taliban’s subsequent takeover of the nation.

Open Doors USA, an organization that tracks global religious persecution, has published its 2022 World Watch List ranking the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.

In what Open Doors USA CEO David Curry called the “biggest seismic shift” in decades, Afghanistan replaced North Korea as the most repressive and hostile country towards followers of Jesus. The communist North Korean regime had ranked as the worst country for Christian persecution for 20 years.

“This year’s 2022 World Watch List, we think, is the biggest seismic shift in over 20 years because Afghanistan is now the No. 1 country on the World Watch List, supplanting North Korea,” Curry told Faithwire in an interview.

In a bid to finally end the American war in Afghanistan, Biden set a deadline to withdraw U.S. combat forces from the country by the end of August 2020. But his pullout from the country was a colossal failure of planning and execution. Poll Shows Large Majority of Americans Support Abortion Restrictions

The vast majority of Americans support restrictions on abortion, according to a new poll sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and conducted by Marist Poll. The poll also found that a majority of Americans want to return abortion restrictions to the states, in contrast to the central ruling of Roe v. Wade (1973).

“When it comes to the direction of government policy, there has been consistency and consensus in American public opinion on the issue of abortion over the decades,” Dr. Barbara Carvalho, director of the Marist Poll, said in a press release on the results.

“As we await a decision in the Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, our polling continues to show that over 60% of Americans reject the central holding of Roe v. Wade, and want to return the decision to the states or make abortion illegal,” Knights of Columbus Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly said in the release. Dobbs v. Jackson centers on whether all pre-viability restrictions on elective abortion are unconstitutional.

The Knights of Columbus-Marist poll does not just ask Americans whether or not they support Roe v. Wade or whether they identify as “pro-life” or “pro-choice,” but rather presents in-depth questions about abortion issues, probing Americans’ public policy opinions rather than identity markers.

“When asked about their actual opinion, 71% of Americans support real restrictions that are more pro-life than federal law and the laws of many states,” Timothy Saccoccia, vice president at the Knights of Columbus, said on a press call regarding the poll. He noted that 54% of Americans identify as “pro-choice,” but this label does not translate to a support to unlimited abortion. EEU Regulators, WHO Call For End to COVID Boosters, Citing Evidence Strategy Is Failing

EU drug regulators, World Health Organization experts and the former chairman of the UK’s COVID task force all cited mounting evidence mRNA COVID boosters aren’t working and the strategy should be dropped

European Union drug regulators on Tuesday warned frequent COVID boosters could adversely affect the immune system and said there are currently no data to support repeated doses.

This comes a month after EU drug regulators said it made sense to “administer COVID-19 vaccine boosters as early as three months after the initial two-shot regimen,” amid concerns over the Omicron variant.

According to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), continued booster doses every four months could pose a risk of overloading people’s immune systems and lead to fatigue.

Instead, the agency recommended countries space out the intervals between boosters and coordinate their programs with the onset of the cold season in each hemisphere — following blueprints of influenza vaccination strategies. Viral Photo Shows a School Employee Taping a Mask to a Child’s Face

Pennsylvania parents are outraged over a viral photo that shows a school employee taping a mask to a student’s face, which the school district has confirmed is legitimate.

A teacher in the North Penn School District (NPSD) was photographed taping a mask to a young child’s face, according to the viral Facebook post on the North Penn Stronger Together page.

“Pro-mask or anti-mask, I hope we can all agree that taping masks to children’s faces crosses the LINE,” North Penn Stronger Together wrote in the post. “This was not a joke for the child or the parents.”

NPSD confirmed that the image was taken in one of its classrooms last week, but that said taping masks to children’s faces “does not represent the universal values” of the district.

Woman Shot and Killed During Capitol Riot Actually Urged Others to Stand Down

It’s already known that internal police documents about the shooting death of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt by a U.S. Capitol police officer during the ruckus on Jan. 6, 2021, show there was no reason for her to die.

Now an analysis by the Epoch Times reveals it was Babbitt who “desperately tried to prevent rioters from vandalizing the doors leading to the Speaker’s Lobby at the Capitol that day, even stepping between one troublemaker and officers guarding the doors.”

Democrats, and their allies in the legacy media, have portrayed her over and over as a rioter who was an the Capitol as part of an “insurrection,” which likely is more a political claim that anything else.

The Epoch Times said its “frame-by-frame video evidence” confirmed that the veteran was shot and killed by a police officer who, according to witnesses, did not issue a verbal warning, as she tried to get through a broken window.

“Video clips appear to show she tried to prevent the attack, not join it,” the Times reported. (Read more from “Woman Shot and Killed During Capitol Riot Actually Urged Others to Stand Down” HERE)

Huge Numbers Respond to Poll With Desire for Voter ID Election Integrity

A new poll of Michigan residents, much like other polls in recent months, shows they overwhelming want their elections to be secure.

According to a report from Great Lakes Wire, the poll from Remington Research Group found that more than 75% of the respondents support a requirement to show a government-issued photo ID in order to vote.

Among blacks in Michigan, the support was higher – 79%.

The poll was commissioned by Americans for Citizen Voting, and interviewed 1,011 likely 2022 General Election Michigan voters.

“A majority of African Americans in Michigan support voter ID because they understand it is the surest way to validate a voter’s identification,” explained Christopher Arps, president of Americans for Citizen Voting. Harris Doubles Down on Biden’s Doubt About Legitimacy of 2022 Elections (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down Thursday on President Biden’s eyebrow-raising comments questioning the legitimacy of the 2022 midterm elections if Democrats are unable to pass election reform measures in Congress.

In an interview on NBC’s “Today,” host Savannah Guthrie said it was “astonishing to hear Biden’s remarks about the ability to hold “free and fair elections” this November.

“The president has been consistent on this issue,” Harris said, noting Senate Democrats’ failure to approve the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act Wednesday evening as she affirmed Biden’s comments.

Democrats contend the measures are needed to counter legislation passed by Republican-led states that include provisions regulating early voting and mail-in balloting.

With the two pieces of legislation blocked by Senate Republicans, Guthrie asked Harris what effect their absence would have on the midterm elections. (Read more from “Harris Doubles Down on Biden’s Doubt About Legitimacy of 2022 Elections” HERE)

The Big Lie! Joe Biden Casts Doubt on Legitimacy of Midterm Elections

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden questioned the legitimacy of the 2022 midterm elections, after repeatedly lecturing former President Donald Trump and Republicans for casting doubts on the 2020 presidential election.

During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked by a reporter if he believed the upcoming elections would be fair and legitimate.

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election,” Biden replied.

Biden recalled that Americans had the highest voter turnout during the 2020 election even though it was held in the middle of a pandemic.

He raised concerns that Republicans were making it more difficult for minorities to vote, calling into question the results of future elections. (Read more from “The Big Lie! Joe Biden Casts Doubt on Legitimacy of Midterm Elections” HERE)

Biden Says Upcoming Elections Could ‘Easily Be Illegitimate’

By Daily Caller. resident Joe Biden wouldn’t outright say Wednesday whether he believes the upcoming election results will be legitimate if his election bills don’t pass.

Biden is pushing for passage of the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would nationalize federal election laws. Republicans have blocked efforts to nationalize federal election laws, often arguing it subverts the Constitution.

The president, speaking to reporters at a formal press conference at the White House, was asked about the passage of his election bills and whether he believes the upcoming election would be fair without them. Biden appeared to dodge directly answering, telling the nation it “depends.”

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try and alter the outcome of the election,” Biden said. “And it’s one thing – look, maybe I’m just being too much of an optimist. Remember how we thought not that many people were going to show up to vote in the middle of a pandemic? We had the highest voter turnout in the history of the United States of America.” (Read more from “Biden Says Upcoming Elections Could ‘Easily Be Illegitimate’” HERE)

19 Federal Agencies Plan to Keep Tracking Lists of Religious Objectors to COVID Vaccines

This week, we revealed that an obscure federal agency plans to keep lists of the “personal religious information” employees who had religious objections to the federal employee vaccine mandate.

As it turns out, the little-known Pre-trial Services Agency for the District of Columbia isn’t the only federal agency involved. As we feared, a whole-of-government effort looks to be underway.

A little digging at the Federal Register revealed that there are at least 19 total federal agencies—including five cabinet level agencies—that have created or proposed to create these tracking lists for religious-exemption requests from their employees.

The list includes the Department of Justice, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of the Treasury, to name only a few.

As the nation’s largest employer, with over four million civilian and military employees, the federal government has received tens of thousands of religious exemption requests. It now appears that an increasing number of federal agencies are keeping and preserving those individuals’ names, religious information, personally identifying information, and other data stored in lists across multiple government agencies.

Why?

The earliest set of proposals appears to have been rolled out in October of last year, during the start of the holiday season in a possible effort to ensure very little attention was paid to a coordinated data collection move. Many of the announcements have clocked only a few page views. Almost none attracted any public comments. Most permitted only a 30-day window for submitting objections. All announcements were issued within a few weeks of one another.

The timing alone raises questions.

The Pre-trial Services Agency in D.C. was only the most recent iteration of a disturbing trend—the Biden administration is creating lists that can all communicate with one another on which individuals have sought religious exemptions from the federal employee vaccine mandate or other religious accommodations within the scope of their employment by the government.

Several of the notices, but not all, indicate that they are being issued to implement Biden’s COVID-19 executive order on federal government employees. The rest have proffered the Privacy Act of 1974—which establishes a code of information practices that governs the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of information about individuals stored by federal agencies—as their justification for the creation of a new list.

The agencies plan to collect religious affiliation, the reasons and support given for religious accommodation requests, names, contact information, date of birth, aliases, home address, contact information, and other identifying information. These lists will be shared between federal agencies.

The notices do not explain how long they plan on storing this data, why they need to share it between agencies, or why they need to keep it beyond the decision to grant or deny an employee’s religious accommodation request.

The Federal Register announcements raised eyebrows for Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt. In his public comment to the Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg stating strenuous opposition to the list creation, he noted:

On November 18, at the direction of the Biden administration, four federal agencies simultaneously announced that those who exercise their legal right to seek a health or religious waiver from a vaccine mandate would be tracked in federal databases. Rather than give the public ample time to weigh in on the advisability or legality of collecting such personal information, the Department of Transportation’s database in particular became effective on the day it was published…

The chilling effect on a citizens’ exercise of religion due to the creation of this Database is alarming… the federal government decrees that a citizen who seeks a medical exemption or a waiver based on a sincerely held religious belief has automatically consented to being entered in the Database. To put it plainly, invoking the legal right to exercise one’s religious faith risks simultaneously waiving that legal right.

The day we broke the story on the Pre-trial Services Agency announcement in the federal register, the notice had 16 views. As of the publication of this story, it now has more than 13,000.

Schmitt is demanding answers from the Biden administration. We’re hoping more people do, too.

And based on those numbers, they just might. (For more from the author of “19 Federal Agencies Plan to Keep Tracking Lists of Religious Objectors to COVID Vaccines” please click HERE)
