Chuck Schumer: I Was Targeted on January 6 Because of My Religion

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) decided to get in on the victimization-fest, saying he was targeted because he was Jewish or something. Seriously? No one knows who the Senate Majority Leader is on a given day, but they knew it was Chuck Schumer, right? Please. Nancy Pelosi is different as we pummel her more often but Schumer is on a hit list. C’mon, man (via The Hill):

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Thursday recounted being evacuated from the Senate chamber during the Jan. 6 attack, including a close brush with rioters who he was told made antisemitic remarks about him.

“I was within 30 feet of these nasty, racist, bigoted insurrectionists. Had someone had a gun, had two of them blocked off the door, who knows what would have happened. I was told later that one of them reportedly said, ‘There’s the big Jew. Let’s get him,’ ” Schumer said.

“Bigotry against one is bigotry against all. And I saw something that I had been told later never happened before, the Confederate flag flying in this dear Capitol. That’s just one of many searing, grotesque images of that unimaginable, most un-American day,” Schumer added.

During his speech, Schumer called out former President Trump, warned that democracy was at risk and made an indirect plea to Republicans to urge them to talk about the attack. Though several Republicans were angry with Trump in the immediate aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack, some of the president’s closest allies have tried to downplay the violence.

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller: ‘I’ll Probably’ Run for Office in 2024

The former U.S. Marine lieutenant colonel removed from the military after his video condemning President Joe Biden’s calamitous withdrawal from Afghanistan went viral, has announced he might run for elected office in 2024.

“I’ll probably jump into a race in ’24,” former Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller told the “John Solomon Reports” podcast on Wednesday. He said he presently lacks “the physical, mental, spiritual endurance right now to jump into a race.”

When Solomon pressed Scheller about the possibility of running for an elected office in the 2024 election cycles, Scheller replied, “I’m sure I will. … I can’t go fishing.”

Since being separated from the armed forces, Scheller has recruited approximately 25 candidates for office as part of a coalition called Vote4Vets.org. The endorsed candidates — 90% of whom he estimates are veterans — promise to press for greater accountability of military leaders, and for themselves once in office.

This Governor Wants to Make It a Crime to Question Fraudulent Elections

The Democrat governor in Washington state says he wants to regulate lying.

Actually, the target of Gov. Jay Inslee is “false statements,” and the Daily Caller News Foundation explains he announced he is working on legislation that would regulate candidates and elected officials from “spreading lies about elections that are likely to result in violence.” . . .

The Daily Caller News Foundation pointed out Inslee’s legislation still is being written but said it would be “narrowly tailored” to target those statements made for the “purpose of undermining the election process or results.”

“This legislation attempts to follow the relevant U.S. and state supreme court opinions on this issue. We’re talking about candidates and elected officers knowingly throwing bombs at democracy itself when doing so is likely to result in violence,” Inslee said.

The foundation report said the Democrat announced the planned proposal on the first anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and he cited the event, as well as statements made by elected officials casting doubt on the results of the 2020 presidential election, as justification for the new speech restrictions. Ahmaud Arbery’s Killers All Sentenced to Life in Prison

The three white Georgia men who chased and gunned down Ahmaud Arbery were each given life sentences Friday for what the dead jogger’s dad called a modern-day lynching “in broad daylight.”

Shooter Travis McMichael, 35, and his 66-year-old dad, ex-cop Gregory McMichael, were both told they would spend the rest of their lives behind bars without the possibility of parole. Even though they can never be released, both were also given an extra 20 years to run consecutively on a lesser aggravated assault charge.

Their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan, 52, also got a life sentence, but with the possibility of parole — which he can only apply for after serving 30 years, when he will be 82.

“Ahmaud Arbery was hunted down and shot,” Judge Timothy Walmsley told the three murderers, who showed no emotions at the sentences.

Times Left-Wing Protesters Broke Into Government Buildings and Assaulted Democracy

Self-absorbed congressional Democrats held a group therapy session on Capitol Hill on Thursday as they work tirelessly to immortalize Jan. 6 as an annual day of doom, but the rest of us are old enough to remember a few more times when riots and protests overwhelmed government buildings with no such theatrical response.

More than a few times, actually. The 2020 summer of rage was more or less “incited” by these same top Democrats, who race-baited as if their lives depended on it, and even our vice president, who helped bail violent rioters out of jail. It featured a number of these attacks on the government (which strangely weren’t called attacks on democracy at the time). . .

On Oct. 14, 2021, climate activists breached the Interior Department, with demonstrators who were left outside struggling with law enforcement officers as they reportedly tried to force their way in, shouting “Go inside! Go inside!” Some activists vandalized a building, while others pinned police against a wall. The ordeal resulted in a number of injuries, according to multiple sources, with a police officer being transported to the hospital. . .

In June 2020, then-President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and their son Barron were reportedly rushed to a secure bunker when a group of protesters breached temporary barricades that had been set up around the White House complex. . .

In 2011, thousands of people opposed to Republican Gov. Scott Walker filled the Wisconsin state Capitol, screaming in opposition to the governor’s budget repair bill.

Teacher Allegedly Stuffed 13-Year-Old in Trunk Because She Was Afraid of COVID-19

A mother in Houston, Texas, allegedly stuffed her 13-year-old COVID-positive son into her trunk to take him to a coronavirus drive-thru testing site Monday.

Police filed charges against Sarah Beam for endangering a child Wednesday, according to KPRC. Court documents were reportedly not made public until Friday.

Beam allegedly put her son in the trunk after he had tested positive for COVID-19, KPRC reported.

Cypress-Fairbanks Director of Health Services Bevin Gordon was going to each car to gather information when she found out the child was in the trunk of the vehicle, reported KTLA.

“(The mother) stated that she put (her son) inside the trunk to prevent her from getting exposed to possible COVID while driving (him) to the stadium for additional testing,” according to a court document, KTLA reported. ‘I Felt the Vomit Coming Up’: Founder of Parody Conspiracy Theory Shocks News Anchors Live On-Air (VIDEO)

The founder of the viral ‘Birds Aren’t Real’ parody conspiracy theory shocked news anchors after he appeared to projectile vomit live on-air in what can only be described as a bizarre interview.

During the viral interview with WGN-TV, 23-year-old Peter McIndoe is seen drinking from a mug when one of the anchors asks him how it isn’t just Gen Z that falls for “conspiracy theories” when suddenly McIndoe appears to projectile vomit.

“Oh my God, I’m so nervous,” McIndoe says, as he appears to then choke. The network then switches to b-roll clips of ‘Birds Aren’t Real’ supporters while McIndoe is heard in the background gagging. . .

In a statement to Newsweek, McIndoe said as soon as he “heard the news anchor use the word ‘Conspiracy Theory’” when referring to his movement “I absolutely retched, couldn’t hold it in.”

“That interview could have deprogrammed so many blind sheeple watching the mainstream media on a Thursday morning. Ivy League Pledges ‘Unwavering Commitment’ to Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas

University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas has received “unwavering” support from the Ivy League despite his unfair advantage over female competitors.

Thomas, a biological male, has been shattering women’s records in college swimming this season and raising the hackles of many of his teammates in the process. But while many of his peers are not pleased with the performance, Thomas is being supported by the NCAA.

“Over the past several years, Lia and the University of Pennsylvania worked with the NCAA to follow all of the appropriate protocols in order to comply with the NCAA policy on transgender athlete participation and compete on the Penn women’s swimming and diving team. The Ivy League has adopted and applies the same NCAA policy,” the conference said in a Thursday statement.

“The Ivy League reaffirms its unwavering commitment to providing an inclusive environment for all student-athletes while condemning transphobia and discrimination in any form,” the statement continued.

“The league welcomes her participation in the sport of women’s swimming and diving and looks forward to celebrating the success of all of our student-athletes throughout the season,” the statement concluded. Trump’s New Social Media Platform Set to Launch on Presidents’ Day

Former President Donald Trump’s new social media platform Truth Social is expected to launch on Presidents’ Day, Feb. 21, according to the latest Apple App Store listing.

Truth Social, which the 45th president announced in October, is the latest conservative alternative to large social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, which the former president has repeatedly slammed for censorship.

The new app is being launched by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) and can be preordered before its expected release date.

According to the app store listing, users of the platform can share their “unique opinion by posting a TRUTH, Re-TRUTH, photo, news story or video link to communicate with your friends, customers, and the world.”

America Last: Biden Frees Record Number of Illegal Aliens Into U.S. Via ‘Catch and Release’

President Joe Biden has released a record number of border crossers and illegal aliens into the United States interior via a little-known federal program used as part of a larger “Catch and Release” policy.

As of late December 2021, Biden has placed about 150,755 border crossers into the government’s Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program, wherein border crossers are apprehended and quickly released into the U.S. interior with minimal tracking.

In some circumstances, ATD simply places ankle monitors on border crossers before releasing them into the U.S. interior. Border crossers often tear the ankle monitors off. In other circumstances, ATD asks border crossers to report to the government via telephone or be monitored by a smartphone application.

An official with the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, which compiles the data, told Border Report that this is the highest number of border crossers placed into the ATD program since its inception in 2004.
