‘Groomer School’ Sued for Pushing Gender-Bending, Hiding It From Adults

The Massachusetts Family Institute has announced a lawsuit on behalf of two families against what a commentary at PJMedia described as a “groomer school” where officials coached children into transgender ideologies while hiding their actions from parents.

The institute said it is working with the Child & Parental Rights Campaign on the lawsuit on behalf of two Ludlow, Massachusetts, families against public school officials there.

“The families are suing for violations of their parental rights stemming from a district policy prohibiting school staff from sharing information with parents about a student’s discordant gender identity and efforts to promote that identity in school. In the case of one of the families named in the suit, school officials were actively transitioning their 11-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son without their parents’ knowledge and against their wishes,” the group confirmed.

The organizations said in a statement that school officials were told by the parents not to speak to their children about gender identity, but actively “dismissed” the instructions and “not only continued having such conversations with their daughter, but began addressing her in school by an alternative name and pronouns.”

School staff members used the girl’s real name only in communication with her parents, “intentionally concealing their affirmation of her gender transition at school.”

The Only Way to Fight Disinformation Is to Fight Political Censorship

If outfits like the Aspen Institute’s “Commission on Information Disorder,” along with Big Tech’s faceless “fact-checkers,” ever get a total monopoly on dictating reality, the result will be a 24/7 mix of falsehoods with the occasional limited hangout to cover up their lies.

The icing on this fake cake is the use of conferences about disinformation, such as the recent stunt at the University of Chicago that served as cover for justifying political censorship. There former President Obama presented the perfect picture of psychological projection: a panel of propagandists accusing others of wrongthink.

The Atlantic’s Anne Applebaum, for example, sought to censor the reality of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal by announcing she didn’t find it “interesting.” See how that works? Truth depends upon how our elites personally feel about what should be true.

But it gets much worse, because political censorship creates deep dysfunction in society. In fact, the surest way to kill a democracy is to practice political censorship under the guise of protecting society from disinformation.

2020 Election Irregularities Are Still Unaddressed Despite Recounts Gone Wrong, Erased Records, and Suddenly Surfacing Ballots

If we are going to avoid the type of debate that we saw after the November 3, 2020 election and restore confidence, then transparency is important. Take one of the least obvious places where people have concerns about the election — Montana.

Donald Trump won the state in 2020 by 16.4 percent. But there is an election transparency problem in Missoula County, Montana’s second-most populous county. . .

Last January 4, a recount of the 2020 election in Missoula made national news when it found 4,592 fewer envelopes than the County Election Office’s tally of 72,491 votes. That is a 6.33 percent difference in votes counted. The county’s election was entirely mail-in, and envelopes were crucial for checking dates and signatures.

During that recount, the Missoula County election board provided 31 boxes of envelopes to be counted. On March 28, in a count commissioned by the Missoula County Republicans, the count resulted in only 71 fewer envelopes than votes.

Why the difference? For the March 28 count, the election board provided 33 boxes — two more than were provided in the first count (affidavits available here, here, and here). Biden, Harris Gave Less to Charity Than Others in Their Income Bracket

When it comes to charity, President Biden and Vice President Harris came up short compared to their fellow Americans, a review of their tax returns shows.

The president and First Lady Jill Biden reported $610,702 in income for 2021 and paid $183,925 in federal and state income taxes. The couple gave $17,394 to charity, or about 2.8%. That’s roughly 0.3 % less than the average charitable deduction for Americans making between $500,000 and $2 million, according to 2016 data from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

In Harris’ case, the disparity was worse. The vice president and her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, earned $1,655,563 in 2021 and paid $523,371 in federal income taxes. The couple donated $22,100 — or 1.3% — to charity. The figure is considerably less than the 3.1% on average donated by those making between $500,000 and $2 million.

The giving disparity between the Biden and Harris families was first reported by Fox News. The Tax Policy Center data showed the poorest Americans were by far the most generous, with those making less than $50,000 who itemized charitable deductions donating 8.4%.

Biden’s largest charitable donation of 2021 was a $5,000 gift to the Beau Biden Foundation, named in honor of his son who died of cancer in 2015. The Bidens were considerably more generous in 2020, donating $30,704 of their income to charity, or about 5%. Biden’s America: Gas Prices Expected to Get Even Worse

U.S. gas prices are expected to start climbing once again after a brief period of reprieve, some industry experts predict.

Gas prices — which have been on the rise for months — consistently hit record highs in March, easily topping well over $4.00 per gallon.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, looking at all grades and formulations in retail gas prices, the U.S. hit an average of $4.322 in March 2022 — roughly $1.70 more than the $2.594 average seen in March 2019, under former President Donald Trump.

However, while Americans have experienced a slowdown in the rise, industry experts expect it to tick back up yet again, as gas price futures rose 30 cents in the last week.

Oops: Woke Diversity Activists Accuse DJ of Wearing Blackface at School Event. Turns Out the DJ Was Actually Black. (VIDEO)

A pair of woke activists in Arizona who push diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the Scottsdale Unified School District embarrassed themselves recently when they accused a black entertainer hired for a local school event of wearing wearing blackface.

The episode, first reported by the Arizona Daily Independent, stemmed from an April 9 fundraiser for Phoenix’s Hopi Elementary School put on by the Hopi PTA.

The PTA hired DJ Kim Koko Hunter, who is black, to play at the 1970s Disco-themed event. Attendees posted photos from the event on social media accounts, including one photo featuring Hunter in seventies garb with other eventgoers.

Two wokesters, Stuart Rhoden and Jill Lassen, who actively work to implement left-wing DEI standards at SUSD saw the image and attacked the Hopi Elementary PTA, accusing the group of hiring a DJ who was in blackface.

Rhoden, who, according to the Daily Independent, is an instructor for Arizona State University and a member of the SUSD’s Equity and Inclusion Committee, did not appreciate being called out for claiming Hunter was in blackface and complained on Facebook about parents being “all up in my DMs” over his false accusations. In fact, he even doubled down on the blackface assertions, claiming that Hunter, a black man, was actually in blackface because he allegedly appeared to be “in darker make-up,” and blasting critics for assuming he thought the DJ was a white man (while admitting that might have been his assumption, but he wasn’t about to cop to it).

White House Tells Travelers to Continue Masking but Defends Ending Title 42 (VIDEO)

While it’s nothing new for the Biden White House, Monday’s briefing by Jen Psaki put a somewhat-chaotic exclamation point on how disjointed the administration’s guidance and mandates have been regarding COVID-19.

Happening just hours after a federal judge in Florida struck down the CDC’s mask mandate for travelers, Psaki was unable or unwilling to answer multiple questions about whether travelers must still wear masks.

Calling the ruling a “disappointing decision,” Psaki quickly made clear that the White House was caught off-guard in the midst of its Easter festivities by the court decision.

Parents Fuming After Kindergartner Shares Margaritas With Classmates

Michigan parents are livid after a kindergartner shared a bottle of ready-to-drink Jose Cuervo margaritas with her classmates during snack time.

One mother, Alexis Smith, explained how her child at Grand River Academy in Livonia, Michigan, took four to five sips of the tequila drink from a Dixie cup at school, according to a report. . .

The young girls were given the booze during snack time and reportedly thought the alcoholic drink was juice.

“The girl poured it in her cup and she drank it and the girl ended up telling her what it is, and she went and told the teacher there is liquor in this cup, and the teacher gave her a funny face,” according to Zanders.

America Collapsing: Epidemic Mental Health Crisis, Nationwide

The United States is experiencing an extreme teenage mental-health crisis. From 2009 to 2021, the share of American high-school students who say they feel “persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness” rose from 26 percent to 44 percent, according to a new CDC study. This is the highest level of teenage sadness ever recorded.

The government survey of almost 8,000 high-school students, which was conducted in the first six months of 2021, found a great deal of variation in mental health among different groups. More than one in four girls reported that they had seriously contemplated attempting suicide during the pandemic, which was twice the rate of boys. Nearly half of LGBTQ teens said they had contemplated suicide during the pandemic, compared with 14 percent of their heterosexual peers. Sadness among white teens seems to be rising faster than among other groups. . .

Five years ago, the psychologist Jean Twenge wrote an influential and controversial feature in The Atlantic titled “Have Smartphones Destroyed a Generation?” based on her book iGen. Around 2012, Twenge wrote, she had noticed that teen sadness and anxiety began to steadily rise in the U.S. and other rich developed countries. She looked for explanations and realized that 2012 was precisely when the share of Americans who owned a smartphone surpassed 50 percent and mobile social-media use spiked. . .

“I tell parents all the time that if Instagram is merely displacing TV, I’m not concerned about it,” Steinberg told me. But today’s teens spend more than five hours daily on social media, and that habit seems to be displacing quite a lot of beneficial activity. The share of high-school students who got eight or more hours of sleep declined 30 percent from 2007 to 2019. Compared with their counterparts in the 2000s, today’s teens are less likely to go out with their friends, get their driver’s license, or play youth sports.

The pandemic and the closure of schools likely exacerbated teen loneliness and sadness. A 2020 survey from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education found that loneliness spiked in the first year of the pandemic for everyone, but it rose most significantly for young people. “It’s well established that what protects teens from stress is close social relationships,” Steinberg said. “When kids can’t go to school to see their friends and peers and mentors, that social isolation could lead to sadness and depression, particularly for those predisposed to feeling sad or depressed.” (Read more from “America Collapsing: Epidemic Mental Health Crisis, Nationwide” HERE)

Booby-Trapped Bridge Blows up as Russian Convoy Drives Over It: Ukrainian Forces

Ukrainian special forces claim to have blown up a bridge in Ukraine as Russian troops drove military vehicles over it on Thursday.

The Ukrainian military said the Russian vehicles were traveling to Izyum in eastern Ukraine, where Russian troops have been staging for assaults in the Donbas region. Photos shared by the Ukrainian special forces show that explosives had apparently been placed under the bridge in anticipation of a Russian column heading toward it.

“A group of SSO of Ukraine blew up a bridge with enemy technology heading to Izyum,” Ukrainian Special Operations Forces said in a Facebook post.

“Putting the explosive in a designated place, operators of the SSO of Ukraine waited for the enemy, who without any doubt drove to the death meeting.”
