Former US President George W. Bush mistakenly denounced the “brutal, unjustified invasion of Iraq” at an event on Wednesday as he was offering a critique of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

The slip-up occurred during an event on election integrity at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas and was first reported by the Dallas Morning News.

“In contrast, Russian elections are rigged. Political opponents are imprisoned or otherwise eliminated from participating in the political process,” Bush told the crowd. “The result is the absence of checks and balances in Russia and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq.”

“I mean of Ukraine,” he said, pausing, then laughing. “Anyways, I’m 75,” Bush added after the gaffe while the audience laughed. . .

Dr. Peter Breggin: Biden Ceding U.S. Sovereignty to China (VIDEO)

In an in-depth 70-minute video interview with WND (embedded below), Dr. Peter Breggin discusses the startling implications for the future of the American experiment in the Biden administration’s International Health Regulations amendments. The proposed regulations will be subject to votes at the upcoming annual meeting of the WHO’s governing legislative body, the World Health Assembly, May 22-28 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The current WHO director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Breggin explained, already has demonstrated what it would look like if he were given more power, having collaborated with Beijing in covering up the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic and agreeing with the regime during the early stages that the virus wasn’t dangerous.

“The U.S. is the one power that stands in the way of globalism,” Breggin said.

Many Americans, he said, hold to a Judeo-Christian tradition that believes “God doesn’t intend for us to be run by the communist Chinese or Bill Gates or any of these Western or Eastern predators.”

Israel to Join U.S. In Surrendering Health Authority to WHO

By Israel 365 Days. In four days, the World Health Organization will vote on resolutions that will give them emergency powers over any country they choose.

The Biden administration initiated the measures but kept them under wraps until just a few weeks ago when the vote was a foregone conclusion. It was recently revealed that Israel fell into lockstep, backing the measure, though one exceptional politician has become the voice of reason in a government that has run amok.

The World Health Assembly (WHA), the World Health Organization’s (WHO) governing legislative body, will be voting on Provisional agenda item 16.2 in Geneva on May 22. The agenda, described by the WHO under the headline “Strengthening WHO preparedness for and response to health emergencies,” the new agenda would give them the power to unilaterally declare a health emergency in any country, thereby giving them emergency powers. The Biden administration gave these proposed amendments to the WHO on January 18. No one knew this until April 12, less than a month ago. If passed, the resolutions will go into effect in November. Report: Twitter Executive Ridicules Elon Musk for Being ‘Special Needs’ (VIDEO)

A senior Twitter executive reportedly ridiculed Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for having Asperger’s syndrome on a video released Tuesday by Project Veritas.

The video, recorded by an undercover Project Veritas journalist, allegedly features Twitter Lead Client Partner, Alex Martinez, who appears to mock Musk for having Asperger’s syndrome. Martinez referred to Musk as “special needs,” according to the video.

“He’s [Elon Musk] a looney tune, he has Asperger’s. So, he’s special,” Martinez reportedly said in the video. “You’re special needs, you’re literally special needs. … So, I can’t even take what you’re saying seriously. Because you’re special.”

Musk responded to Martinez’ comments appearing to ridicule his disorder in a Twitter post on Wednesday.

Christian Denied Driver’s License, State Cites U.S. Federal Law ‘666’

While renewing one’s driver’s license may seem like a routine task for most Americans, an Arizona man [Mike Palmer] who has been a licensed driver in the Grand Canyon State for four decades is now being denied a renewal because he does not have a Social Security Number – and he doesn’t want one, believing it to be tied to Bible prophecies about the end-times “mark of the beast” . . .

Palmer [a self-described “fundamental Christian”] contacted the state about his situation, and received the following response from Susan Pacheco with Constituent Services at the director’s office of the Motor Vehicle Department:

“Dear Mr. Palmer, Your record and request to apply without a social security number has been reviewed. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a credential without it. You must present a valid social security number in order to obtain a license in the state of Arizona. There is no exception in the state or federal law that would allow you to present any other type of document, such as an affidavit like the one the US State Department accepts for passport issuance. We are bound by the relevant state and federal statutes, Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 28-3158 and 42 United States Code Annotated (U.S.C.A) § 666.”

After Being Swindled and Fooled, Will We Learn From Our COVID Failures?

We were swindled, fooled, bamboozled and lied to during the pandemic. The public-health establishment misled the American people about the value of masking, closures and social distancing. No one has accepted blame. Understanding how badly we failed is not only an inevitable part of the “told you so” process but, more important, a lesson for next time. Just ask the Swedes.

Sweden had zero excess deaths associated with COVID-19. The United States had the most excess deaths of all nations. New York had more than Florida. That’s the whole story right there in a handful of words. . .

The key element of misdirection in the American swindle was case counts, those running numbers on screens telling us how many Americans had tested positive for COVID. If you’re curious, it looks like some 60% of us have had COVID at some point, with most of us experiencing mild or no symptoms.

How high the case numbers went in your neck of the woods depended a lot on the amount of testing taking place. More testing meant more “cases.” For me, when I had a very mild set of symptoms all clearly in line with COVID, I never even bothered to test. Like most people, I just sat around the house for a few days until I got better. My spouse, who had no symptoms, never got tested, either. Neither of us was included in the ever-growing case counts that dominated the headlines for years.

Not that it matters. The case count tells us very little. Hospitalization totals are useful for managing caseload but often are indicative of protocols like testing patients upon entry to the hospital. Many hospital treatments changed, too. Initially, many COVID-positive people were hospitalized and put on respirators. Before long, many doctors realized infections associated with long-term respirator use were killing people, too. The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on “Revoking Your Rights: The Ongoing Crisis in Abortion Care Access” on Wednesday. The remarks from pro-abortion members and the witnesses called by Democrats were just as absurd as the title of the hearing.

As Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) questioned one of the witnesses, Dr. Yashica Robinson, who performs abortions, he had great difficulty getting out of her how late into a pregnancy she has performed abortions, and then she turned back to accuse him of using “inflammatory language.”

“So, unfortunately, my state [of Alabama] is one of those states that has passed restrictions or bans on abortion care, which limits physicians like myself,” Dr. Robinson said as part of her non-answer. Rep. Roy cut in to point out that “in other words, you’d like to do it later,” before asking her once more what the latest is that she’s performed an abortion. . .

Rep. Roy went on to mention the procedure involves a second-trimester abortion at this stage. An abortion at this stage involves a Dilation & Extraction procedure, also known as D&E, in which a provider would grasp parts of the unborn child to dismember and then extract. He asked Dr. Robinson if she performed this procedure and then stored or discarded the fetal remains. . .

“One of the things that you all have done, throughout this hearing, is just use inflammatory language to talk about the care that we provide,” Dr. Robinson charged as Rep. Roy tried to steer her back toward the question asked of her. Bad News: US Is Likely Facing a Deeper-Than-Normal Recession

Tolstoy famously wrote that all happy families resemble one another, but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. He might have said the same about unhappy economies — and added that there are all too many signs the US recession now in the works will likely be of the particularly unhappier kind.

Among the reasons to fear a deeper-than-normal recession is that monetary-policy tightening is causing the equity and credit market bubbles to burst. Since the start of the year, not only has the Federal Reserve’s abrupt policy shift wiped out almost 20% of the stock market’s value; it has also wiped out nearly 20% in the bond market’s value and close to 50% in the value of exotic markets like bitcoin.

The combined evaporation of some $12 trillion, or 50% of gross domestic product, in household wealth since the start of the year must be expected to cool consumer demand in time. Households will begin to stress about their reduced 401(k)s, which will make them want to rebuild their savings. According to the Federal Reserve, for every sustained $1 loss in household wealth, consumers tend to reduce their spending by 4 cents.

This means that, although consumer spending has held up well to date, because of their financial-market losses consumers might soon be expected to reduce spending by as much as 2% of GDP. This is the last thing we need when consumers are already cutting back because of soaring gasoline and food prices and because their wages are being eroded by high inflation.

Another cause for concern is that the Fed’s tightening has led to an abrupt jump in the 30-year mortgage rate from around 3% at the year’s start to 5.5% at present. This has reduced the affordability of housing by 25%. That in turn is already leading to a marked cooling in housing demand. Congrats to the Media for Finally Finding a White Supremacist

Assuming the gunman who shot up the Buffalo, New York, grocery store really was motivated by anti-black racism, let’s do what the media do when faced with an Islamic terrorist who goes on a killing spree in America and just refer to him as a “lone wolf,” a mentally unstable individual who in no way reflects any broader phenomenon or trend.

Except, unlike with violent Muslim extremism, that characterization in this case would be true.

Despite what the media, Democrats, leftists, and, of course, the permanent Washington bureaucracy say (over, and over, and over again), there is no imminent, large-scale threat from white nationalists. It doesn’t exist outside of Joe Biden’s TelePrompter. . .

Even under Donald Trump—especially under Donald Trump—the permanent bureaucracy had been hyperventilating about “white supremacy” and the existential threat it supposedly represented to every American, and even democracy itself.

Strangely enough, though, there isn’t a ton of publicly available government data on the topic. More often than not, a government agency or official makes an assertion about white supremacists on a rampage and we’re just supposed to take it as fact without hearing any specifics. Top Trans Medical Org Used Castration Fetish Site for Research to Develop Guidance for Doctors

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) developed its latest medical guidelines using information from a site that hosts pedophilic fantasy pornography and castration fetish content.

WPATH, which sets medical standards for transgender medical procedures according to U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, released new draft guidelines Dec. 3, 2021 which include “eunuch” as a gender identity. The organization pulled information from a website called “Eunuch Archive,” which hosts thousands of members who discuss their castration fantasies and, according to WPATH, hosted a popular post providing instructions for self-castration.

WPATH referenced stories of self-castration shared on the site to argue that healthcare providers must castrate individuals for their own safety if they believe a person will likely chemically or surgically castrate themselves outside of the formal medical setting otherwise.

“For the purpose of Standards of Care, we define eunuch as an individual assigned male at birth whose testicles have been surgically removed or rendered non-functional, and who identifies as a eunuch,” the guidance states. “They ask for castration, to become eunuchs, because they are eunuch-identified. Illegal Alien Charged With Raping His Young Daughter, Giving Her Chlamydia

An illegal alien has been accused of raping his daughter, a toddler, and giving her a sexually transmitted infection in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Ronaldo Saul Monteroso Gonzalez, a 25-year-old illegal alien, was arrested and charged with aggravated rape of a child last week and booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.

According to a police report obtained by local outlet Scoop Nashville, Gonzalez’s daughter, who is three-years-old or younger, was taken to a nearby children’s hospital after having stated that her father was sexually abusing her.

A sexual assault exam was taken in late February and the child tested positive for the sexually transmitted infection known as Chlamydia.
