New Details Emerge From Incident That Led to the Arrest of Nancy Pelosi’s Husband

The arrest of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, followed a late-night car crash, according to police.

Paul Pelosi, 82, was charged with driving under the influence on Sunday morning. At the time, the speaker’s husband was “driving a 2021 Porsche into an intersection near the town of Yountville and was hit by a 2014 Jeep,” the Associated Press reported. “No injuries were reported, and the 48-year-old driver of the Jeep was not arrested.”

Paul and Nancy Pelosi own an estate in Napa Valley on Zinfandel Lane, which is valued at well north of $5,000,000, that has a vineyard that nets the couple $5,000 to $15,000 in grape sales per year.

Nancy Pelosi was in Rhode Island on Sunday giving a commencement speech at Brown University. (Read more from “New Details Emerge From Incident That Led to the Arrest of Nancy Pelosi’s Husband” HERE)

Trudeau Moves to ‘Freeze’ Handgun Sales in Canada

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government introduced legislation Monday to freeze the sale of handguns in the country.

“What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada,” Trudeau said in a press briefing announcing the bill.

Canadians would be able to keep and use the handguns they already own, with the ban effectively acting as a cap on the approximately 1.1 million registered handguns in Canada.

The bill would also require long-gun magazines to be altered so they carry no more than five bullets, and it would create a “red flag” law that allows law enforcement to confiscate firearms when a court deems a gun owner to pose a risk to him- or herself or others. The legislation is expected to pass the country’s Parliament. (Read more from “Trudeau Moves to ‘Freeze’ Handgun Sales in Canada” HERE)

Dozens of Babylon Bee Headlines Have Come True

A spreadsheet recently shared by Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon shows more than 70 instances where reality has very closely matched content on the satirical website.

The first entry is a headline that reads, “Captain America Rebooted as Feminist, Atheist, Transgender Hydra Agent,” which was originally published Oct. 7 2016. By March 15, 2021, the Babylon Bee was right, as Marvel had named its latest Captain America as an “LGBTQ+ activist.”

While the topics the Babylon Bee writes about vary, from politics to religion and health to foreign policy, the website has been prescient in all of them.

Thousands of Missing WWII Soldier Remains to Return to US

The remains of unknown American soldiers who died in North Africa during World War II will be repatriated back to the U.S. from the sole American cemetery in Africa, the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia said on Monday.

The U.S. and Tunisia signed a memorandum in which the U.S. will be allowed to exhume the remains of unknown soldiers for repatriation to be identified and reunited with their families, according to CNN.

“We owe our fallen heroes and their families a profound debt of gratitude,” Natasha Franceschi, the embassy’s chargé d’affaires said in a statement, according to CNN. “Today’s historic agreement will ensure American service men and women who gave their lives to defend our freedom are recognized and honored for the ultimate sacrifice they gave to our country.”

The North African American Cemetery in Carthage, Tunisia, is currently the resting site for 2,841 U.S. service members, the outlet reported. It is not immediately clear how many remains will be returned to the U.S. (Read more from “Thousands of Missing WWII Soldier Remains to Return to US” HERE)

A Texas father stood guard outside his daughter’s elementary school in Killeen, volunteering to help protect the children after Tuesday’s deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

“I said I would just be out there unarmed to let people know that I’m watching. Let the parents have a little bit of relief,” Ed Chelby, a U.S. Army veteran with eleven years of experience in the army and in security, told KWTX-TV.

KWTX-TV interviewed the father after a picture of him standing guard outside Saegert Elementary School went viral.

Strawberries Linked to Hepatitis A Outbreak

The Food and Drug Administration, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other agencies, are investigating an outbreak of hepatitis A that could be linked to fresh, organic strawberries sold in the United States and Canada.

Consumers should not eat strawberries from the brands FreshKampo or HEB that were sold between March 5, 2022, and April 25, 2022, the FDA said in an announcement. Health officials also warned that retailers and restaurants should not use or sell the berries.

The strawberries in question are no longer in stores. However, some buyers may have stored or frozen them for later consumption, which the FDA warns against.

The berries were sold at Aldi, HEB, Kroger, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Weis Markets, and WinCo Foods, among others. (Read more from “Strawberries Linked to Hepatitis A Outbreak” HERE)

Disgusting: Teachers Asking Students How Comfortable They Are With Graphic Sex Acts

Okay, I mean what is going on here? As if things can’t get any worse in our schools regarding all this woke nonsense and critical race theory fraud in the curriculum, we have graphic questions about the level of comfortability regarding sexual activity. . .

Libs of Tik Tok was there to uncover this madness:

Students at Campolino High School in California were reportedly given an invasive and inappropriate sex lesson which included questions about their anal sex and masturbation preferences.

In this worksheet, students were asked to rate their comfort level with anal sex. Presumably, these written responses were turned in by each student, so the school now has their anal sex preferences on file.

[…]

Students were also asked if they like to masturbate with others in the room.

5th Grader Arrested for Sending Mass Shooting Threat via Text

A fifth-grade student in Florida was arrested Saturday for threatening to pull off a mass shooting via text messages, police said.

The 10-year-old boy, a student at Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral, was handcuffed and walked into a police cruiser Saturday evening for making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting.

“This student’s behavior is sickening, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas,” Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in a statement. “Making sure our children are safe is paramount.”

The sheriff’s office’s School Threat Enforcement Team was tipped off to the alarming messages and the Youth Services Criminal Investigations Division soon took on the case, due to the child’s young age.

Marceno noted that officers were quick to investigate the mass shooting threats.

Not Everyone Is Happy About Biden’s Visit to Uvalde

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden head to Uvalde, Texas to meet with a grief-stricken community following the deadly elementary school shooting that left 19 kids and two adults dead.

But not everyone in the predominantly conservative town is thrilled about his visit.

According to Stella Chavez, an immigrations and demographics reporter for KERA News, told CNN’S Brian Stetler that there is “a lot of outrage” over Biden’s visit.

“I think it depends on who you ask…I think, for the most part, the families who were affected want to focus on their loved ones who were killed. And I think having the leader of our country come here and express, you know, his condolences is important to them. But I also know, I’ve heard people say, you know, now is not the time for him to come here.” (Read more from “Not Everyone Is Happy About Biden’s Visit to Uvalde” HERE)
