Europe’s Gas Prices Are Even Higher Than America’s

Many Americans find themselves bending over backward to afford prices at the pump quickly approaching $5 per gallon. In Europe, however, fuel costs are much higher.

Due to the conflict in Ukraine, Russia — the world’s third-largest producer of energy as of 2019 — has cut off natural gas supplies to many European nations. Meanwhile, sanctions against Russia have also severed many Europeans from a major source of gasoline.

As a result, gas prices in leading European economies are significantly higher than in the United States. Citizens of Germany, for example, are purchasing gas at $7.89 per gallon as of June 6. In the United Kingdom, Spain, and France, prices at the pump are $8.32, $8.40, and $8.57, respectively. Prices are especially high in Scandinavia — $9.33 in Sweden, $10.13 in Finland, $10.32 in Denmark, and $10.82 in Norway.

Hunter Biden Paid Full-Time Salary to Stripper Who Had His Child

Hunter Biden paid a full-time salary to the exotic dancer with whom he fathered a child in 2018, according to deleted payroll files recovered from a copy of his abandoned laptop.

Lunden Roberts earned $1,500 for 40 hours of work from Biden’s company, Owasco PC, on Nov. 16, 2018, according to a recovered payroll file obtained exclusively by Washington Examiner. Two other recovered files show Owasco spent an additional $521.37 to provide health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for Roberts for the same month.

The payroll records were part of a trove of 168,000 deleted files the Washington Examiner recovered from a copy of Biden’s abandoned laptop. Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, a cyber forensics expert commissioned by the Washington Examiner to examine the hard drive, retrieved the deleted files from unallocated space on the drive using a technique called data carving.

Roberts sued Biden in Arkansas for child support in 2019. She disclosed in court filings that his company paid her from May 2018 through November 2018, but the specific amounts were not publicly disclosed. The US Military Is Almost Completely Dependent on China for Key Mineral Used in Ammunition: Report

The U.S. military depends almost completely on China for a mineral essential to the production of ammunition and other defense products, Defense News reported Wednesday.

The House Armed Services Committee released draft legislation on Wednesday, which would require a briefing on the antimony supply by October and a five-year outlook on supply chain vulnerabilities, Defense News reported. The U.S. has no domestic mine for the mineral antimony, which is reportedly used in the production of night vision goggles, armor-piercing bullets, explosives and nuclear weapons.

“China in particular does a remarkably good job of hoarding these materials,” Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, told Defense News. “China clearly has a comprehensive global strategy to corner the market on these materials and we’re behind and we’re playing catch-up.”

In 2020, approximately half of the antimony mined originated in China, Russia and Tajikistan, according to Britannica.

Moulton and seven Republicans wrote to the defense appropriations subcommittee in April asking for an additional $264 million in funding for the National Defense Stockpile (NDS), a reserve of critical materials used in national emergencies. The letter claimed that in the last 30 years Congress had “authorized the sell-off” of the majority of the stockpiled materials. Memo Confirms Trump Pentagon Offered Guard Troops Before Jan. 6

Government memos validate the long-held claim of Trump administration officials that Capitol Police rejected an offer made by the Pentagon four days before the Jan. 6 riot to provide National Guard troops.

An official Capitol Police timeline obtained by Just the News records a Jan. 2, 2021, text from Defense Department official Carol Corbin to Capitol Police deputy chief Sean Gallagher.

Corbin, according to the timeline, reached out “to determine whether USCP is considering a request for National Guard soldiers for January 6, 2021 event.”

The following morning, “Gallagher replies to DOD via text that a request for National Guard support not forthcoming at this time after consultation with COP Sund,” referring to Steven Sund, the chief of the Capitol Police.

Poll: Public Support for ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban Hits All-Time Low

New polling shows that support for an “assault weapons” ban in the United States has hit an all-time low despite calls from Democrats to implement a ban following a deadly mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

In a Quinnipiac University poll, conducted last week and published on Tuesday, 50 percent of registered voters support a nationwide ban on semi-automatic long guns compared to 45% who oppose which represents the lowest level of support since February 2013 when Quinnipiac began asking that question.

The highest level of support for the ban was 67% in February 2018, days after the Parkland school shooting that left 17 people dead.

“Nearly a decade after the school shooting at Sandy Hook and in the midst of a raging partisan and emotional debate, the assault weapon maintains a foothold, as calls for outlawing ownership hit their lowest level,” Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said. It Begins: Gas Prices Hit $5 National Average

Gas prices on Thursday soared to a national average of $5.00 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.

The $5.00 per gallon mark has never been reached before and represents a twelve consecutive record-day high.

In all 50 states on Thursday, the average price of a gallon of gas reached above $4.40, according to AAA data.

Feds Want Gag Order on Peter Navarro in Contempt Case for Defying House Jan. 6 Committee

Federal prosecutors have requested a gag order against Peter Navarro, as the former Trump White House adviser faces criminal contempt of Congress charges for refusing a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee.

The prosecutors say they want to ensure Mr. Navarro does not share discovery evidence with the public as he prepares his defense. They said it could create a “carnival atmosphere.”

“The defendant’s extrajudicial statements … demonstrate a substantial risk that, without a protective order, the defendant will use non-public discovery for improper purposes instead of to prepare the defense he plans to present before this court,” the prosecutors wrote.

Mr. Navarro, who was indicted by a grand jury last week, has objected to the FBI’s handling of his arrest which was carried out at Reagan National Airport in Washington. He said the public arrest was a punitive measure.

Multiple Dead After Gunman Opens Fire at Factory; Suspect Shot by Cops

A number of people were killed during a “mass shooting” at a factory in Maryland on Thursday, reports said.

There were “multiple fatalities” in the shooting that took place around 2:30 p.m. at Columbia Machine in Smithsburg, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect was also shot at the scene by police.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan told reporters that he had been briefed on the incident and said preliminary reports from state police indicated three people were killed.

“My understanding is that [there was] potentially three people killed,” he said at a press conference on the state’s COVID-19 recovery plan. “The state police responded, pursued the suspect. The suspect fired, shot a state trooper in the shoulder who then returned fire and shot him back. 168,000 Deleted Files Recovered From Hunter Biden’s Laptop; iPhone Data Leaked: Fresh Crisis for President as Trainwreck Son Caught in Compromising New Photos

By Washington Examiner. A cyber forensics expert commissioned by the Washington Examiner recovered over 168,000 deleted files from a copy of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

Many of the deleted files were system files, application files, or duplicates of user files stored elsewhere on the laptop.

Some of the recovered data, however, shed light on his financial dealings in 2018 and early 2019, as well as his personal dealings during that time frame. Also recovered from the drive were deleted pictures of government ID cards for two individuals linked to President Joe Biden’s son.

Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, a former Secret Service agent who has testified in over 100 classified, criminal, and civil matters, retrieved the deleted files from unallocated space on the hard drive using a technique called data carving. . .

“In order for user-created data — including personal photographs, bank records, invoices, business records, third-party data such as the driver’s licenses of other persons, chat conversations, and medical records, as examples — to exist within the unallocated hard drive space, the computer user would have had to manually delete the files,” Dimitrelos said. “Any Robert Hunter Biden recovered files in unallocated space was there as a result of deletions by the user ‘roberthunter.’” (Read more from “168,000 Deleted Files Recovered From Hunter Biden’s Laptop” HERE)

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) went on a lengthy tear against Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) by accusing him of helping President Joe Biden’s “communist agenda” for gun control.

Greene went after Graham in a recent broadcast of her “MTG Live” podcast, accusing him of taking an anti-Second Amendment stance in the aftermath of the Buffalo, Uvalde and Tulsa shootings. Greene’s criticism of Graham gravitated around a series of tweets he posted after Biden’s call for action on gun reform.

“I stand ready to vote on ALL the proposals mentioned by President Biden tonight and encourage the Democratic Leader to bring them forward for votes,” Graham said. “I also stand ready to work across the aisle to find common ground – something that was absent from President Biden’s address to the nation.” . . .

“He wants to make sure that your tax dollars are helping people in Ukraine to defend themselves,” Greene scoffed, “but he stands ready to vote for ‘ALL’ of Biden’s gun control bills. He’s ready to go.”

Greene continued to paint Graham as a Biden minion by railing at the senator for approving the president’s government job appointees “so they can radically destroy the United States of America.” After blaming red flag gun laws for a lockdown situation she experienced years ago over a potential school shooting, Greene continued to slam Graham by accusing him of helping to “violate due process” and take guns away from lawful owners.
