Ron DeSantis Vetoes $35M Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Complex After Team’s Gun Control Tweet: Report

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vetoed $35 million in government spending for a new practice facility for the Tampa Bay Rays after the baseball team posted a tweet in support of gun control, according to a report.

The move comes just weeks after the GOP governor — and rumored 2024 presidential hopeful — stripped Disney of its self-governing status after the Mouse House came out in opposition to a new law banning explicit sex and gender education for young children.

ln the most recent skirmish, DeSantis penalized the Tampa franchise after a tweet from the team’s official Twitter account took a swing at the nation’s gun laws following the mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, according to the news site OutKick.

“This cannot become normal. We cannot become numb. We cannot look the other way. We all know, if nothing changes, nothing changes,” the team tweeted. (Read more from “Ron DeSantis Vetoes $35M Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Complex After Team’s Gun Control Tweet: Report” HERE)

Establishment Media Sour on Biden’s Potential Second Term

The establishment media are lukewarm on a potential second term of President Joe Biden.

Over the weekend, the Hill published a story about potential Democrat presidential candidates if Biden retracts his statements and decides not to run for a second term. The story promoted Vice President Kamala Harris, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) as legitimate contenders.

“There are doubts he will follow through on his plans because of his age — Biden would be 81 in November 2024 — and because of the brutal political headwinds he and his party are now facing,” the article noted. “Biden’s approval ratings have sunk to the mid-30s in some polls.”

FiveThirtyEight titled a story on Friday, “Americans Are Unusually Lukewarm About A Second Biden Term,” which claimed “some Americans don’t believe” Biden will seek a second term, citing polling data:

And a Wall Street Journal poll conducted from March 2-7 found that more than half (52 percent) of registered voters don’t think he’ll run again in 2024, while only 29 percent think he will run again. (Nineteen percent were unsure.) A second Biden run isn’t that popular, either. According to an AP/NORC poll conducted from Jan. 13-18, 70 percent of Americans don’t want the president to run in 2024. Even Democrats are lukewarm about the idea.

Supreme Court Denies Appeal Over Law Licenses From Gun-Waving Missouri Couple

The Supreme Court denied a bid by a Missouri couple who potentially face indefinite suspension of their law licenses after they carried guns outside their home as protesters for racial justice marched in summer 2020.

Mark McCloskey, a personal injury attorney and GOP candidate for Senate in Missouri, along with his wife Patricia McCloskey, drew headlines two years ago after they held firearms on their front lawn amid a protest over the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

People participating in the protest had entered the neighborhood of the McCloskeys’, located near the home of the St. Louis mayor at the time.

The husband and wife pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in June over the incident. While Missouri Gov. Mike Parson gave a pardon to the couple last year, the state office responsible for investigating misconduct by attorneys sought to suspend their law licenses. Why the Special Counsel Needs to Fight for More Spygate Documents, Stat

Special Counsel John Durham’s prosecution of Igor Danchenko, the Russian national who served as Christopher Steele’s primary sub-source, will soon heat up—maybe as early as next week, if prosecutors are wise and return to the grand jury to obtain the documents the Hillary Clinton campaign wrongfully withheld based on attorney-client privilege. Those documents will likely reveal Fusion GPS peddled Danchenko’s lies directly to reporters.

The jury’s acquittal of former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann after less than a day of deliberations represented a setback to Durham’s three-year investigation of the Russia collusion hoax. Americans nonetheless learned much from the prosecution, including that Hillary Clinton held personal responsibility for the peddling of the Alfa Bank conspiracy theory and that, post-Donald Trump, the FBI and legacy media remain corrupt.

The special counsel team also learned a valuable lesson from the court’s rulings on the admissibility of documents withheld from the grand jury based on the Clinton campaign’s assertion of attorney-client privilege: Don’t wait until trial to challenge the improperly withheld documents.

Given the breakneck speed of the Sussmann prosecution, it is to be expected that, following Tuesday’s acquittal, the special counsel team regroups for a few days. But by Monday, their focus should turn to their prosecution of Danchenko. . .

In November 2021, the special counsel indicted Danchenko on five counts, charging him “with lying to the FBI during the agents’ questioning of him related to his role as Christopher Steele’s ‘Primary Sub-Source’ for the notorious dossier that enabled Obama administration surveillance of the Trump campaign.” (Read more from “Why the Special Counsel Needs to Fight for More Spygate Documents, Stat” HERE)

Elon Musk Wonders Why the DOJ Has Not Revealed Jeffrey Epstein’s Client List and Asks: ‘Doesn’t That Seem Odd?’

By Business Insider. Elon Musk has questioned why the Department of Justice has not revealed Jeffrey Epstein’s client list.

On Saturday, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO shared a meme on Twitter saying: “Only thing more remarkable than DOJ not leaking the list is that no one in the media cares”, adding: “Doesn’t that seem odd?”

He also said: “Sometimes I think my list of enemies is too short, so…” . . .

A Twitter user shared a picture of Musk and Ghislaine Maxwell, suggesting they had “found one” client of Epstein. Musk responded: “Ah yes, Maxwell photobombing me at a @VanityFair Oscars party – you should [ask] them why they invited her.”

“The same people who push this photo say nothing about prominent people who actually went to his island a dozen times,” adding that is “also very strange…” (Read more from “Elon Musk Wonders Why the DOJ Has Not Revealed Jeffrey Epstein’s Client List and Asks: ‘Doesn’t That Seem Odd?’” HERE)

By Fox News. Elon Musk took to Twitter Saturday to ask if anyone was bothered by how quiet the “leaking” Justice Department is when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. . .

The image included a photo of what appears to be a dragon or wyvern, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a unicorn, and the words, “The Epstein/Maxwell client list.”

Poll: Black Americans Are Fed up With Biden

Black voters are bolting away from Joe Biden in herds, and it’s unlikely the president will win them back.

In a new Washington Post-Ipsos poll, only 23 percent of voters “strongly agree” with Biden’s job in office. Although, black Americans typically vote overwhelmingly in favor of Democratic candidates, the poll indicates they are frustrated with the lack of progress the Biden administration has made, despite countless promises of “change.”

The number of voters who think the Biden administration is “sympathetic” towards black Americans’ problems went from 74 percent to 66 percent.

According to the Pew Research Center, black voters carried Biden in the 2020 election, and even was the first Democratic president to win Georgia in 30 years. But many of those voters may think twice about their favor of Biden as the country continues to take a chaotic downward spiral thanks to the left. Man Refuses to Surrender ‘FCK BLM’ Vanity License Plate Despite Warnings From the City

A man from Hawaii refuses to surrender his vanity license plate that reads: “FCK BLM.” The man has defied the city government’s orders to stop driving around the vehicle with the anti-Black Lives Matter gesture.

Last August, KITV reporter Tom George highlighted a “FCK BLM” vanity license plate after a viewer brought it to his attention. The reporter found that the license plate with the abbreviation for “f*** Black Lives Matter” was an actual license plate after searching the Honolulu database.

George shared the license plate in a Twitter post that asked, “Racism on the road?”

The license plate appears to have been spotted on a red Pontiac Trans Am. The driver also had a sign that read: “Trump 2024 Because F*** You.”

George contacted the Honolulu government about the “FCK BLM” license plate, which admitted that it was an “ill-advised oversight during the review process.” (Read more from “Man Refuses to Surrender ‘FCK BLM’ Vanity License Plate Despite Warnings From the City” HERE)

Ex-Disney Actor Sentenced to Federal Prison for Trying to Meet a 13-Year-Old for Sex

Former Disney Channel actor Stoney Westmoreland was sentenced to two years in federal prison for attempting to lure a minor to have sex with him.

Westmoreland had faced a 10-year prison sentence for the charge of enticement of a minor over the internet, but copped a plea deal with prosecutors to the lesser charge of using interstate facilities to transmit information about a minor, according to Deadline.

He is required to comply with DNA collection and must register as a sex offender. The actor’s computers and electronic devices are subject to random searches. He must report all of the online accounts he uses for communications, including email and social media. As part of the plea deal, Westmoreland is prohibited from contact with minors without adult supervision.

On December 13, 2018, Westmoreland – who portrayed a grandfather on the Disney Channel sitcom “Andi Mack” – allegedly met a 13-year-old boy on Grindr – the self-described “world’s largest social networking app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people.” Westmoreland reportedly shared explicit photos with the teen on the LGBTQ hook-up app. (Read more from “Ex-Disney Actor Sentenced to Federal Prison for Trying to Meet a 13-Year-Old for Sex” HERE)

Left-Wing Critics Say Bill Maher Should Be ‘Canceled’ Over LGBTQ Comments (VIDEO)

Left-wing critics are demanding that HBO “cancel” Bill Maher after accusing the HBO “Real Time” host of delivering an anti-transgender monologue on last Friday’s show.

David Kilmnick, who heads the nonprofit LGBT Network, wrote an article in Advocate magazine on Wednesday titled: “Bill Maher Has Gone Too Far With Anti-LGBTQ+ Comments.”

Maher was blasted for saying that “we’re literally experimenting on children” by providing them with puberty blockers and other treatments aimed at facilitating gender transitions.

He also said that transitioning was becoming “trendy.” Maher hit out at Chase Strangio, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union, who cheered efforts to ban a book by author Abigail Shrier.

Shrier, a Wall Street Journal writer, is author of “Irreversible Damage,” which explores the rapidly growing trend of teenage girls who undergo therapies and surgeries to transition to boys.

Cheney: January 6 Probe Found Evidence of ‘Extremely Broad,’ Chilling ‘Conspiracy’ (VIDEO)

Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) said on “CBS Sunday Morning” that the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol has found evidence of an “extremely broad” and “well-organized” conspiracy.

Reporter Robert Costa asked, “Are you confident that what you have found as a committee will somehow grab the American people by the lapels and say, ‘Wake up: You have to pay attention’?”

Cheney said, “I am. The threat, and it’s an ongoing threat, you know, we are not in a situation where former President Trump has expressed any sense of remorse about what happened. We are, in fact, in a situation where he continues to use even more extreme language, frankly, than the language that caused the attack. And so, people must pay attention. People must watch, and they must understand how easily our democratic system can unravel if we don’t defend it.” . . .

Costa asked, “Well, what’s made you more concerned?”

Cheney said, “Well, I think the extent, the expanse, how broad this multi-pronged effort was.” (Read more from “Cheney: January 6 Probe Found Evidence of ‘Extremely Broad,’ Chilling ‘Conspiracy’” HERE)
