Carolina Panthers Add First Transgender Member to NFL Cheer Squad

The Carolina Panthers have announced the addition of its first transgender NFL cheerleader.

Justine Simone Lindsay has made the Panthers’ TopCats cheerleading squad, according to the new squad member’s Instagram post. . .

The TopCats did not announce that the 29-year-old Lindsay was transgender, but according to The Spun noted that the squad knew that Lindsay was transgender from the outset.

“My goal is to create a team of individuals that are absolute fire on the field but are incredible human beings in the locker room, good friends, good people, and at the end of the day, you have to walk through the door first to get to that spot,” TopCats director Chandalae Lanouette told Buzzfeed News. The Uyghurs in China Now Live in a Giant, Open Air Prison Camp

There’s a cultural genocide taking place in China right now against the nation’s Uyghur minority. Aggressively monitored by Chinese authorities and faced with the constant threat of arrest or torture, this Turkish-speaking people in China’s Far West now exist in the world’s first, real-life, digital dictatorship.

It is no exaggeration to say the entire province of Xinjiang, an area only slightly smaller than Alaska, has been turned into a giant, open-air prison camp by the Chinese Communist Party. As author Nury Turkel explains in his new book, “No Escape: The True Story of China’s Genocide of the Uyghurs,” every neighborhood in Uyghur cities large and small now has its own hastily erected “convenience police station” manned by “low-level assistant police officers, who are more brute muscle than actual law enforcement officers.” The neighborhoods themselves are surrounded by manned check points, where those who want to leave are forced to squint into a camera for a retinal scan before departure.

Each neighborhood is further broken down into small “grids” of 15 to 20 families, each with an assigned a “grid monitor.” As the author writes, each monitor is tasked with snooping on their neighbors, reporting any suspicious or forbidden activities — such as Islamic practices like refusing to eat pork or fasting during Ramadan — to the authorities.

Then there are the Monday-morning flag-raising ceremonies, at which attendance is obligatory. One More Jab: Fauci Rips Into Trump, GOP During Commencement Speech

Dr. Anthony Fauci took a barely veiled swipe at former President Donald Trump and Republicans during a college commencement speech Friday — just two days after claiming he wouldn’t “get involved in any politics” related to the 2024 election.

Speaking to more than 3,700 graduates of the City College of New York in Harlem, Fauci said, “It is blatantly obvious that we are experiencing a deepening divisiveness in our nation, fed by a flagrant devaluation of the truth.”

“While genuine differences of opinion or ideology are part of a healthy society, increasingly we are hearing, reading and seeing outlandish statements and pronouncements propped up by deliberate distortions of reality,” he said during his keynote address.

‘She’s Still Alive’: Student Desperately Tried to Save Teacher While Cops Botched Uvalde Shooting Response

One of the teachers killed in the Texas school massacre may have still been alive while a group of officers waited nearly an hour to take out the gunman, according to a newly revealed 911 call from a student who saw the wounded woman.

“There is a lot of bodies,” 10-year-old Khloie Torres told a 911 dispatcher while locked inside a classroom with the Robb Elementary School shooter, according to the New York Times.

“I don’t want to die, my teacher is dead, my teacher is dead, please send help, send help for my teacher, she is shot but still alive.”

The call was logged at 12:10 p.m., 37 minutes after the gunman arrived on campus — and 40 minutes before cops breached the classroom door and killed the shooter.

Khloie was one of two students who called 911 from inside the two adjoining classrooms where 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos was holed up. In total, 19 kids and two teachers died. A Concession Has Been Made in the Pennsylvania Senate Primary

Early Friday evening Republican and former hedge fund manager David McCormick conceded to Dr. Mehmet Oz in the race to become the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.

“It’s now clear to me, with the recount largely complete, that we have a nominee. And today, I called Mehmet Oz to congratulate him on his victory, and I told him what I always said to you, that I will do my part to try to unite Republicans and Pennsylvanians behind his candidacy, behind his nomination for the Senate,” McCormick said to supporters at an event. “It is so important for Pennsylvanians, so important that we beat John Fetterman.”

“Tonight is really about all us coming together,” he continued.

Biden’s Trans Policies Are Putting Men in Women’s Prisons and Kicking Christians Out of Law Enforcement

As Americans are threatened by rising crime, the Biden administration is focused on putting men in women’s prisons and pushing Christians and political dissenters from transgender ideology out of law enforcement.

President Biden has released his long-delayed executive order on law enforcement, and it does not include the bombshell proposal to put men in women’s prisons that I reported on back in January. Unfortunately, this cut is not because the Biden administration thought better of the idea, but because it already quietly rewrote the Bureau of Prisons manual to allow men in women’s prisons.

The change in federal prison policy was pushed out in January shortly after I wrote about the draft executive order. Almost no one noticed, myself included. There was limited media attention in pro-transgender outlets, and I missed it at first because I was looking for the executive order, not monitoring federal prison policy changes or LGBT propaganda. Mea culpa. I guess Biden was in such a hurry to put men into women’s prisons that he couldn’t wait until his executive order came out.

Meanwhile, the just-issued executive order is a cornucopia of bad ideas, including policies that are meant to drive Biden’s ideological enemies, especially conservative Christians, out of law enforcement. Thus, Biden has ordered the government to create and implement plans for hiring and retaining federal law enforcement officers that include “vetting mechanisms and ongoing employment screening, that … help avoid the hiring and retention of law enforcement officers who promote … bias against persons based on … sexual orientation and gender identity.” . . .

Of course, the ideologues running the Biden administration believe that any disagreement with the latest demands of the rainbow agenda by definition promotes bias against persons based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Thus, they are going to target conservative Christians and other dissenters from the reigning sexual and gender ideology. 500 Percent Spike in Biden Administration Shutting Down Gun Retailers Over Typos

President Joe Biden is overzealously targeting firearm retailers to drive them out of business. Federal firearm license revocations for retailers have increased 500 from previous years. That’s got gun control groups excited, but it is casting a pall over the cooperative relationship firearm retailers maintain with law enforcement.

President Biden never hid the fact that he intended to use the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to drive his gun control agenda. He campaigned on a platform of targeting the firearm industry instead of focusing on criminals.

“Our enemy is the gun manufacturers, not the NRA, the gun manufacturers,” President Biden said from the presidential campaign debate stage.

That hostility produced a platform that turned the ATF from the bureau that regulates the firearm industry and enforces federal gun laws into the hammer and anvil by which the Biden administration is pummeling flat firearm retailers. Instead of compliance inspections by ATF Industry Operations Investigators to work to ensure firearm retailers remain within federal firearm regulations, those inspections are now driving firearm retailers out of business. ‘None of This Makes Sense’: Senator Baffled by Uvalde Incident Commander Story

Texas Democratic state Sen. Roland Gutierrez, whose district includes Uvalde, tore into law enforcement’s delayed response to the Uvalde school shooting and questioned whether Pete Arredondo, the chief of police for the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, was really the commanding officer at the time.

Taking note of how Arredondo apparently had not received a key briefing about 911 calls schoolchildren made while trapped in a classroom with the shooter and reports that Arredondo was not carrying his radio during the assault, Gutierrez questioned whether Arredondo was really the incident commander on duty.

“The failure is clearly happening with law enforcement at every level. A real concern with regard to him not having that communication is why in the world is anybody … suggesting that he’s the incident commander if he doesn’t have the necessary communications at the time,” Gutierrez said on CNN’s Erin Burnett Outfront on Friday.

“And so, if he indeed doesn’t have his radio … how in the world are the other law enforcement agencies suggesting that man is the incident commander? None of this makes sense to me. And with all of that, little children might have died that could have been saved,” he continued.

Gutierrez revealed Thursday that he had been told Arredondo was not briefed on the 911 calls from children. Arredondo has been widely reported as the incident commander at the scene, and officials have claimed he bears responsibility for law enforcement’s delayed breach of the classroom. At the time, he believed there was no active threat to schoolchildren and had officers wait for a key to enter the classroom, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw. Putin Crony Invokes ‘Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse’ Amid Ukraine War

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued a stark warning to Western countries, saying they should not wait for the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse,” but instead try to find a diplomatic solution to dealing with Russia.

Medvedev, who currently serves as deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, made the remarks during a recent interview with Al Jazeera TV when responding to a question about his May Telegram post listing 10 dire consequences of anti-Russian sanctions for the world, according to a report from the Russian state news agency TASS.

“One can have different attitudes to it, one can believe that the horsemen of the Apocalypse are already on their way and all hope is in Almighty God. However, one can still try to tone down this international situation,” the Kremlin insider said.

Medvedev, who served as prime minister in Vladimir Putin’s administration from 2012-2020 following a single four-year term as president, argued that Russia is ready to negotiate with other countries.

The country is facing an economic downturn from sanctions that have been imposed on its companies, banks and oligarchs by Western countries in a bid to force Kremlin to end its war against Ukraine, which has been raging for 100 days now. Kuwait Summons Top US Diplomat Over Tweets Celebrating Pride Month

Officials from Kuwait have summoned a diplomat over the U.S. Embassy’s decision to post tweets supporting Pride Month.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry summoned U.S. Charges d’Affaires James Holtsnider on Thursday to hand him a memorandum regarding a series of tweets “supporting homosexuality” and demanded that it not happen again. Kuwait is one of 69 countries where homosexuality is banned.

“All human beings should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear no matter who they are or whom they love,” the embassy tweeted in reference to a May 17 statement by President Joe Biden, referring to the president as “a champion for the human rights of #LGBTQI persons.”

The ministry accused the embassy of violating international conventions that require diplomats to “respect the laws and regulations of the receiving state,” referencing the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961. It then ordered the U.S. Embassy to respect Kuwait’s laws and “not to publish such tweets,” according to the BBC.
