Trump Makes Endorsement in Arizona Senate Race

Former President Donald Trump endorsed Senate candidate Blake Masters, an “America First” populist, in the upcoming Arizona Republican primary election.

“Despite having such an amazing business career and wonderful family, Blake has decided that he wants to make a difference for the people of our Country, and is therefore running for the United States Senate from the Great State of Arizona,” Trump wrote in a news release.

Masters, a venture capitalist, narrowly led the field of GOP primary candidates in Arizona earlier this year, according to a survey for Saving Arizona PAC in March, though recent polls have shown him behind or even with GOP primary rivals, including Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, and businessman Jim Lamon.

Trump praised Masters as a “great modern-day thinker” and lauded the candidate’s commitment to the former president’s priorities, including immigration, gun rights, and his unverified claims about fraudulent activity in the 2020 election. Ukraine Official Fired Over Handling of Russian Sexual Assault Claims

A Ukrainian official has been relieved of her duties over her handling of reports detailing sexual assault allegations made against Russians in Ukraine.

On Tuesday, the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, removed Lyudmila Denisova, the parliament’s commissioner for human rights, from her post, according to Ukrainska Pravda. No new appointment has been made to fill the role.

The move to dismiss Denisova came after outrage about the wording used in public reports about alleged sexual assaults committed by Russians, as well as the alleged dissemination in those reports of unverified information. Despite accusations from Ukraine, the Kremlin has repeatedly denied that Russian soldiers have committed war crimes or sexual assaults during the invasion.

Last week, Ukrainian media outlets and journalists signed an open letter in which they requested that reports concerning rape and sexual assault be “published with caution,” particularly when involving children, according to an English translation of the letter. House Judiciary GOPers Slammed Over ‘Bizarre’ Tweet Celebrating Depp Verdict

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are coming under fire over a tweet that celebrated actor Johnny Depp’s win in his defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard.

[T]he official House Judiciary GOP Twitter account celebrated Depp’s victory by posting a gif of the actor in one of his most famous roles — Captain Jack Sparrow from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series.

The tweet immediately received backlash from both sides of the political divide, with many calling it “gross,” “weird” and “bizarre.”

Most of the criticism focused on why members of Congress were weighing in on a legal case that stemmed from a bitter divorce.

“Is there a single enterprise or institution that can stay in its lane?” asked author and Commentary magazine associate editor Noah Rothman on a Twitter thread. (Read more from “House Judiciary GOPers Slammed Over ‘Bizarre’ Tweet Celebrating Depp Verdict” HERE)

An Open Letter to Alaskans

Dear Fellow Alaskans:

I acknowledge many of you are angry. Given what Alaskans have suffered during the last six years of government mismanagement, who can blame you? I certainly don’t.

My frustration and disappointment during the last two legislative sessions has been great. Opportunity after opportunity was put forward to fund a full PFD – and time and time again the majority of Alaska’s legislators decided to put their own special interests ahead of the people of Alaska. Each time I had the chance to vote for a stand-alone full-PFD, backpay on our stolen PFDs, or interest on that backpay, I did so gladly and proudly, even sponsoring some of the amendments that would have provided this restitution.

Two short years ago, I made the difficult decision to put my life on hold and filed to run for legislative office. This choice came out of a profound sense of frustration and anger with the political status quo. I was tired of politicians telling me one thing during campaign season but doing precisely the opposite once elected. Fed up with the excuses, I ran for office to reverse the damage done by those politicians, who with predictable and disturbing regularity, refused to stand and fight for the values you and I hold dear.

When I ran for office, I promised to be the fighter all those politicians refused to be. I told you the root of the government’s problem was wanton spending and criticized my opponent for voting for the largest budgets in State history.

I promised to be a staunch opponent of Big Government, and to do what was necessary to address the problem. I promised to take on the out-of-control State spending that was and is stifling our economy, killing our jobs, driving us into deep deficits, and let’s not forget, robbing us of our PFDs. I promised to stand up for the weakest and most vulnerable among us, namely babies in the womb, by fighting to end public funding for abortion (an issue that polling says nearly two-thirds of the country supports). And I promised to fight for a full statutory PFD with backpay.

In keeping with those promises, I made the decision to vote against the record-breaking $14.5 Billion (PFD excluded) abortion-funding state budget. This vote was in line with my campaign promises and kept me from joining the ranks of an all too familiar club of political liars and charlatans.

Because of the very public nature of the budget concurrence vote and some false premises that have been circulating about what the vote meant, I wanted to give you my reasons in detail for my “No” vote:

1. The 2023 Senate budget bill was the biggest in State history: precisely the kind of bill I identified to my constituents as the problem with State Government, and I stand by that. It was for this reason that I voted against the House version of the budget, before the Senate sent back their even-larger version for a concurrence vote. Clearly, it is voting for these kinds of budgets which will ensure final destruction of the PFD.

Does this mean I’m opposed to a full statutory dividend? Absolutely not!!!

In keeping with my promises, during my two budget cycles in office, I have fought tirelessly for a full statutory dividend, voting 32 times for a full statutory PFD, restitution for stolen PFDs, and even back interest on those PFDs, which were clearly taken from Alaskans unlawfully. I remain resolved not to contribute to the problem, and as such I will not participate in political games. I will not be bribed. I will not be bought. I will not be intimidated. And I will never be a voluntary hostage of the Big Government Cabal.

During my time as District 7 Representative, full statutory funding of the PFD with restitution has been my number one “spending priority.” My “no” vote on budget concurrence was not in opposition to this priority, but rather in fulfillment of other campaign promises to vote against bloated and oversized budgets and to be a defender of the unborn.

Note: in my opinion, the PFD distribution should not be an appropriation in the state budgeting process, but simply funded according to the existing statutory formula. It has only been done this way in recent years because of a bad court decision after thenGovernor Walker stole Alaskans’ PFD through the veto process. My interpretation of the Constitution is that the PFD is outside of the appropriation process and should not be included in our budget deliberations – this years’ budget concurrence vote is a great example of why not.

2. The 2023 Senate budget bill provided funding for abortion: It is unconscionable that
Senate Republicans in the Finance Committee stripped budget language barring statesponsored abortion funding – pro-life language which ironically was approved by the Democrat-controlled State House. Senate Republican leadership, joined by “Republican” Senator Josh Revak, then rejected an attempt to amend the bill and restore the Pro-life language before the bill’s final reading.

I subsequently made a public pledge to Governor Dunleavy that I would vote for concurrence if he would provide assurance to honor the intent language already in the budget and end abortion payments. However, the Governor ignored my repeated calls and requests for a meeting, choosing rather to negotiate with moderate Republicans and pro-abortion Democrats behind closed doors, most of whom consistently voted against the full statutory PFD earlier in the session. It is no secret that I consider The Right to Life to be our first Liberty, that upon which all other rights and freedoms depend and find their definition. I will not now, nor will I ever, apologize for prioritizing human life before all other issues.

3. The promise of a $5,500 PFD was always destined to be a “bait and switch.” This became clear shortly after reports began circulating of the Governor’s likely veto of at least $1,300 of the purported $5,500 total PFD being sold to Alaskans. This was a result of secret negotiations that the Governor was having with both moderate Republicans and Leftist Democrats.

The bottom line is this: Alaskans were never going to get a $5,500 PFD, regardless of whether the budget concurrence vote was successful or not. The Governor had already made that obvious by the unrefuted claims that had been leaked to the media: the $1,300 “energy relief check” (PFD backpay) was just not going to happen. By the time the vote took place, it was not clear how much additional PFD the Governor had agreed to veto in order to allow Moderate Republicans political cover in voting for a “full PFD”. I can only assume that these secret negotiations included a veto agreement of the PFD down to the Governor’s proposed 50/50 plan that he had presented in his budget to the legislature earlier this year. This would have resulted in a PFD that was well below the statutory amount.

4. The 2023 Senate budget bill was a raw deal for Alaska’s future. Imagine a precedent where politicians are required to vote for literally anything, so long as there’s a PFD attached. That is the future many are clamoring for. The Big Government and Special Interest Cabals are watching and taking notes. Don’t think they won’t try this again, and again, and again. Do you really want to send the message to future legislators that they must check their principles at the door if they wish to serve? If so, it is unrealistic to expect budget accountability, a place for conscience, restraints on government, and a place for the people’s voice in the process.

If you want real change, it is imperative we have principled statesmen, men and women who won’t be bought, bribed, or coerced. This is the only hope for our state’s future. It is going to take men and women of courage, character, and conviction to effect real change.

You and I both know the current trajectory is unsustainable and will end in disaster. Hopefully, we all want the law to be followed and the people’s resources to be given back to their rightful owners. My position on paying a full PFD, and back-PFDs with interest hasn’t changed, but I cannot, and we should not, accept a one-time payment at the price of all that we hold dear. We must fight Big Government together, rein in State spending, reduce regulation, and create a free and competitive economy for our great state.

I know you’re a resilient and smart Alaskan who cares about the future of our State as much as I do. I’m asking you to resist the temptation to buy the spin of those telling you that “you just don’t understand.” You and I both know what the score is. Alaska’s lawmakers are not “smarter” than you – they just have bigger egos. I trust that you can look at the current situation and see it for what it is.

We know that selling the future for a paltry moment of instant gratification is not the right path. Now is a critical time for us to unite and fight the Big Government and Special Interest Cabals. As we do so we can restore fiscal sanity, end abortion, permanently secure the statutory dividend, and win this war for Alaska’s future. But if we continue to allow those who “represent” us to compromise our principles, you can only expect more empty promises and diminishing returns. For my part, I will never apologize to you for being too Conservative and for keeping my campaign promises and I’m certain you wouldn’t want me to!

May God bless you and may God bless the Great State of Alaska!

The ‘Most Secure Election Ever’ Talking Point Just Got Shredded

By WND. . .The recent Georgia primary which passed a slew of laws to protect the integrity of its elections saw a massive turnout. The Democratic Party’s talking point was that these laws, which included voter ID, were racist and meant to suppress the vote. Not the case. In fact, support for voter ID laws is popular across the board. Dinesh D’Souza’s great film, 2000 Mules, demonstrates how funny games with mail-in voting could cause serious election integrity issues. Without a doubt, these tactics were used in 2020—and they could have impacted the election results. Now, a federal cybersecurity agency has declared that our voting systems are vulnerable to hacking (via Associated Press):

Electronic voting machines from a leading vendor used in at least 16 states have software vulnerabilities that leave them susceptible to hacking if unaddressed, the nation’s leading cybersecurity agency says in an advisory sent to state election officials.

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency, or CISA, said there is no evidence the flaws in the Dominion Voting Systems’ equipment have been exploited to alter election results. The advisory is based on testing by a prominent computer scientist and expert witness in a long-running lawsuit that is unrelated to false allegations of a stolen election pushed by former President Donald Trump after his 2020 election loss.

The advisory, obtained by The Associated Press in advance of its expected Friday release, details nine vulnerabilities and suggests protective measures to prevent or detect their exploitation. Amid a swirl of misinformation and disinformation about elections, CISA seems to be trying to walk a line between not alarming the public and stressing the need for election officials to take action.

Mr. Pillow: Wyoming Voting Machines Are Fraudulent and if You Don’t Agree, You’re a Traitor

By Cowboy State Daily. . .Lindell, also known as the “My Pillow Guy,” attended former President Donald Trump’s “Save America Rally” in Casper on Saturday. The “My Pillow” CEO and founder worked the crowd at a tireless pace, working up a sweat as he stopped to take selfies and photos with hundreds of people over the course of the day.

In an interview with Cowboy State Daily, Lindell said people need to get behind him to “Help save our country, help save the American dream.”

The Minnesota businessman has been a vocal supporter of Trump’s claim the 2020 elections were rigged and stolen from him. Lindell said he has spent more than $30 million investigating 2020 election fraud and “has more information than anyone in the world.” . . .

Lindell has cast his net of election fraud allegations over all 50 states, including Wyoming.

Lindell said anyone who says Wyoming’s election results weren’t part of the problem, despite the fact the state had the largest margin of support for Trump in the country, is a traitor to America. Woke Activists Ban Police From Doing Their Job at Pride Parades

June 1 marks the first day of the LGBTQ community’s month long holiday where woke corporations add rainbows to all of its logos in effort to show how “inclusive” they are to the left. This also entails cities hosting Pride parades with crowds bigger than Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Similar to last year, uniformed police officers will be banned from actively participating in the Pride parades. For years, officers have been encouraged to attend the events, but since the 2020 riots and the so-called police brutality movement, LGBTQ members say their presence can be a “trigger” for them.

This year, the NYPD is prohibited from attending the parade and will have to monitor the parade from a block away. In 2021, New York Pride organizers banned gay and lesbian police officers from participating in the parade until 2025. A move that mayor Eric Adams (D-NY) called “disappointing and contradicts our freedom of expression.”

Meanwhile, uniformed police officers in San Francisco are also banned from the city’s parade. Instead they have been instructed to wear T-shirts that represent their local law enforcement agency. (Read more from “Woke Activists Ban Police From Doing Their Job at Pride Parades” HERE)

CATFISH ALERT: Top Dem Recruit Admits He Lied on Dating Apps

A Democratic congressional candidate in a battleground race apologized on Wednesday for lying on dating apps to make himself appear 11 years younger, saying he “made a mistake.”

California assemblyman Rudy Salas listed his age on Tinder and Bumble as 34, though he is actually 45 years old, according to the San Joaquin Valley Sun.

The controversy is another blunder for the Democrat in one of the most competitive congressional races in the country. Salas has been criticized by Republicans for “botch[ing] his campaign rollout” and flubbing media interviews.

Salas, whom national Democrats tapped to run against incumbent Republican representative David Valadao for the highly competitive seat, confirmed that he listed a false age on the apps. . .

Salas’s move is a common tactic for online daters seeking to date much younger people who might not otherwise be interested in them, according to experts. (Read more from “Catfish Alert: Top Dem Recruit Admits He Lied on Dating Apps” HERE)

The Special Counsel Proved the FBI Belongs to the Swamp

. . .[A]fter less than one full day of deliberations, a D.C. jury stacked with pro-Hillary Clinton jurors acquitted former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann, proving the FBI is not “ours” but the swamp’s.

Just more than two weeks ago, prosecutor Brittain Shaw began opening statements in United States v. Sussmann, by stating the obvious: “Some people have very strong feelings about politics and about Russia, and many people have strong feelings about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.”

“But we are not here because these allegations involve either of them,” Shaw continued. “Nor are we here because the defendant’s client was the Clinton campaign.” Rather, “we are here because the FBI is our institution that should not be used as a political tool for anyone; not Republicans, not Democrats, not anyone.”

But after hearing overwhelming evidence that Sussmann lied when he told the then-FBI General Counsel James Baker he was providing data and whitepapers about a supposed secret communications channel between Trump and the Russian-based Alfa Bank on his own behalf, when in fact Sussmann was representing both the Clinton campaign and tech executive Rodney Joffe, the 12 D.C. residents found Sussmann not guilty.

It was not the verdict, however, that confirmed that the FBI belongs to career bureaucrats, high-powered D.C. elites who revolve in and out of the government as political appointees, and the families and friends of all the above. Rather, it was the speed with which the acquittal came, coupled with the in-court testimony and other evidence exposed by the special counsel throughout the prosecution that proved the FBI isn’t America’s anymore. The CBO Confirms Bidenflation Is Real

The Congressional Budget Office has just confirmed that President Joe Biden is blameworthy for the record-high inflation that is punishing workers. Further, this nonpartisan source says that Biden’s preferred fix, raising taxes, will only make the economy worse.

The CBO’s annual economic outlook adds further force to the arguments against Biden made by other Democrats, such as former President Barack Obama’s National Economic Council director, Larry Summers, and Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Jason Furman. The CBO squarely blames Biden’s 2021 COVID stimulus bill for today’s high inflation, albeit for slightly different reasons.

Like Summers and Furman, the CBO noted that the stimulus checks sent to every family significantly boosted demand, causing inflationary pressure on its own. But there’s more. By paying workers not to work, Biden’s COVID stimulus artificially “slowed the recovery of labor force participation.” As noted by Texas Rep. Kevin Brady, the top Republican on the Ways and Means Committee, this lack of workers strained supply chains, thus providing a second source of upward pressure on prices.

The CBO predicts that this Biden-caused inflation will persist into next year, tempered only by the Federal Reserve’s willingness to raise interest rates, which will, in turn, cause the economy to slow or even contract. (Read more from “The CBO Confirms Bidenflation Is Real” HERE)
