Former CIA Director Michael Hayden endorsed the assessment that Republicans today are the most “dangerous” political force in history.

Edward Luce, the U.S. national editor and columnist at the Financial Times, got the ball rolling Wednesday in a Twitter exchange that comes at a time when the Republican Party has largely rallied behind former President Donald Trump.

“I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close,” Luce said.

Hayden quote tweeted the observation, writing, “I agree. And I was the CIA Director.”

Parents Must Have Tough Conversations With Their Kids to Counter a Progressive Onslaught

As a former homeschooled student and now a homeschool dad, I know first-hand the importance of sound education and the delicate balance of approaching difficult topics with my children.

First things first, families need to be grounded in what the Declaration of Independence calls the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God, meaning God’s law is true, supreme, and immutable. In today’s society, children are taught that it is acceptable, and often encouraged, to redefine nature’s law. To “create your own truth” and go against the foundational truths that this country was built upon. Being rooted in the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God is the starting point, the catapult, for addressing difficult topics that our kids are facing on a daily basis. . .

Gone are the days when our God-given body parts were the determining factor of our sexual identity. Leftist agendas are now pushing that your sex is determined at birth, but your gender is not determined until you are old enough to start showing either feminine or masculine tendencies. Parents are being told to keep their children’s biological sex secret until their child is old enough to decide their own identity. This blatantly goes against the laws of nature.

When teaching our kids about their sexuality, we can ask, what does nature’s law tell us about sexuality? It is as simple as returning to God’s original design and purpose for humanity. We can explain this to our children by highlighting the responsibilities of males and females and their benefits to society. We can also educate our children about their bodies and the benefits of their sex. Yes, there are biological differences that match the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God. Our job as parents is to continually affirm to children who they are and how they were made and to teach them to know the truth about themselves, and that it isn’t something you can just change. When our minds don’t match the physical world, it is our minds that need to be healed, not our bodies. Just as physical laws are immutable, so too are natural laws. Post-Roe America Is Not the First Instance of Abortion Supporters Inflating Illegal Abortions

Abortion advocates argue the Supreme Court overturn of Roe v. Wade will only cause more women to seek illegal abortions. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said “women are going to die” due to abortion restrictions. A New York Times editorial last week said more women are “self-managing” abortions. Protestors outside the court brandish signs with hand-drawn coat hangers, suggesting women will use dangerous and violent self-induced abortion methods post-Roe.

Members of the pro-abortion left have used this argument since the 1960s when two men exaggerated the number of illegal abortions occurring to convince women’s rights activist Betty Friedan to add abortion to the feminist platform.

National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL) founders Larry Lader and Dr. Bernard Nathanson lobbied state legislatures to repeal abortion restrictions, but their success came when they linked abortion to the rise of feminism. Due to Lader and Nathanson’s influence, feminism transformed from a movement for equal rights to the belief that childless women are best equipped for success.

“If we’re going to move abortion out of the books and into the streets, we’re going to have to recruit the feminists,” Nathanson repeated Lader saying in his 1979 book. “Friedan has got to put her troops into this thing — while she still has control of them.”

In Friedan’s landmark feminist book, “The Feminine Mystique,” she encouraged women to seek jobs outside of the home, drawing attention to the “problem with no name,” the belief women could only achieve happiness through being a wife and mother. Apple released an emergency security update Thursday, disclosing that there were vulnerabilities for certain iPhone, iPad and Mac products.

These vulnerabilities were disclosed in a software update, which the company said should safeguard the products.

The first issue involved the potential for an application to execute arbitrary code with “kernel privileges,” which refers to a discrete right to perform an operation.

The second issue, according to Apple, was in WebKit, which is a layout engine designed to allow web browsers to render web pages.

Facebook Keeping Trump Ban in Place for Midterm Elections

Facebook is keeping its ban on former President Donald Trump in place for the 2022 midterm elections, saying January is the earliest the social media company would allow his return.

Mr. Trump was barred from Facebook and Instagram, which both operate as part of the Meta company, following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. The company later extended the restrictions on his account.

Meta president Nick Clegg told Politico his company would maintain the timeline for revisiting the ban in January rather than lift it before the November elections.

In June 2021, Mr. Clegg said Meta was enacting a two-year ban retroactive from Jan. 7 against Mr. Trump’s accounts, which marked January 2023 as the earliest the former president may regain access.

Is Mike Pence Taking the FBI’s Side Over Trump’s?

Former Vice President Mike Pence called out members of the Republican Party for going after the FBI following the raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

Criticizing his own party, Pence told the GOP to stop attacking rank-and-file FBI personnel.

“I also want to remind my fellow Republicans we can hold the attorney general accountable for the decision that he made without attacking the rank-and-file law enforcement personnel at the FBI,” Pence said during a speech in New Hampshire.

Pence, who has publicly spoken against Trump, is taking yet another aim at his former partner by seemingly taking the FBI’s side.

“It is fairly well-known that President Trump and I had our differences… Our party stands with the men and women who stand on the thin blue line at the federal, state, and local levels. Woke State Gets Blasted for Condoning Life-Altering Sex Surgery for Minors

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) is condemning health care establishments for normalizing sex change surgery for minors, calling it “dangerous.”

During an interview, DeSantis claimed that “gender-affirming care is a euphemism for disfiguring kids,” pointing out how absurd it is to push the left’s woke gender ideology on children.

“At the end of the day, if you look what’s happening in our society, you see institutions being infected with ideology at the expense of facts and reality,” DeSantis said, adding that “experts” who push radical ideologies of promoting sex change on minors are going down a very dangerous road.

“We’re fighting this thing with the medical board because they want to do sex change operations for minors. … A 14-year-old cannot get a tattoo, but somehow …. they will do mastectomies, they will do stuff at the bottom which is very, very problematic and irreversible,” DeSantis said.

Bible Banned: School District Removes Holy Book for ‘Content Review’

A Texas school district is removing 41 books from library shelves while administrators perform a review using content guidelines that will be approved by their board of trustees.

Included in the list of books that officials from the Keller Independent School District are asking to be removed from library shelves are “Anne Frank’s Diary (The Graphic Adaptation),” the Bible and “All Boys Aren’t Blue.”

A spokesperson for Keller ISD told Fox News Digital that campus staff and librarians are being asked to review books that were challenged in the past year to determine if they meet the requirements of newly approved policies from the board of trustees.

“Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees approved policies EFA (Local) and EFB (Local) at its August 8, 2022, Special Meeting. These policies relate to the acquisition and review of instructional materials and library books. Right now, Keller ISD’s administration is asking our campus staff and librarians to review books that were challenged last year to determine if they meet the requirements of the new policy,” a Keller ISD statement read. “All of the books included in Tuesday’s email have been included on Keller ISD’s Book Challenge list over the past year.” (Read more from “Bible Banned: School District Removes Holy Book for ‘Content Review'” HERE)

CDC to Be Overhauled After Scathing Admission About COVID Response

The director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday announced a “reset” that will focus on making the organization quicker at responding to new health threats amid criticism of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CDC’s director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, told the agency’s staff about the changes, which include internal staffing moves and steps to speed up data releases.

“For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for COVID-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations,” she said in a statement obtained by The Washington Post. “My goal is a new, public health action-oriented culture at CDC that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, communication, and timeliness.”

Mike Tyson was seen being wheeled through Miami International Airport on Tuesday after recently saying his “expiration date is coming close.”

The former heavyweight champion has dealt with back problems recently and was spotted in July walking with a cane in New York City.

“He’s dealing with a sciatica flare-up, nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike,” a source explained to TMZ Sports.
