WATCH: Actor Cites Democratic Interference as Reason for Leaving California

Rob Schneider shared his reaction to Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party and compared it to his own ideology.

Schneider appeared for a television interview on Fox and Friends Wednesday. He said he wasn’t shocked to hear about Gabbard, and related to her journey leaving the party.

“I really feel like I don’t want the Democratic Party trying to run my life. And there’s not one aspect of your life that they don’t want to interfere with. I had it with them,” Schneider said. “So I got out of California and moved to the slightly freer state of Arizona.”

The actor went on to cite the regulations in San Francisco as one of the catalysts that changed his mind about his politics. Schneider said the city forced him to remove the flowerpots he had outside his home, claiming that they were toilets.
