Arizona County Certifies Midterm Election Results After Court Order
Officials in Cochise County, Arizona, certified the election results of last month’s midterm elections Thursday after a court order compelled them to do so.
The three-person board of supervisors for the county voted 2-0, with one member not showing up for the vote.
The Grand Canyon State is set to certify the state’s full results Monday, making Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’s (D-AZ) victory over Kari Lake, Hobbs’s Republican opponent in the gubernatorial race, official.
