FBI Used Secret Powers to Strip More Americans of Their Gun Rights, Documents Reveal

The FBI has secretly stripped eight more people of their rights to own, use, or purchase firearms , according to internal FBI documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and over a dozen GOP members of Congress in October demanded that the FBI and Justice Department hand over proof that the FBI is no longer waiving people’s gun rights with internal forms, which the Daily Caller uncovered in September had been signed by 15 people. Now, the Washington Examiner has obtained eight heavily redacted signed forms — indicating a more widespread bureau effort than previously known to target the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.

“Americans can’t simply sign their constitutional rights away, even to the FBI,” Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX), who signed the October letter, told the Washington Examiner. “As Republicans enter a House majority, we must use our investigative power to put a check on federal agencies who have proven to be eager and willing to crack down on Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.”

Through the forms, the FBI asked signatories to identify as a “danger” to themselves or others or lacking the “mental capacity adequately to contract or manage” their lives. The forms were presented by the FBI to people at their homes and in other undisclosed locations beginning in at least 2016 and until December 2019, when the FBI claims it was discontinued. Latest ‘Twitter Files’ Reveal Secret Suppression of Right-Wing Commentators

Independent journalist Bari Weiss revealed on Thursday how Twitter used blacklists to limit the visibility of tweets coming from conservative users in the latest disclosure of the social media giant’s internal operations.

Right-wing talk show host Dan Bongino, Stanford University’s anti-COVID lockdown advocate Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, and conservative activist Charlie Kirk were among the users targeted for suppression by Twitter, according to Weiss.

Weiss’s tweets followed Friday’s bombshell revelations by fellow independent journalist Matt Taibbi, whose Twitter posts were promoted by new company owner Elon Musk as “what really happened with the Hunter Biden suppression story by Twitter.”

Taibbi said his reporting uncovered the “extraordinary steps” Twitter took in response to The Post’s blockbuster scoop about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop in October 2020, including “removing links and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe.’”

Texas GOP Lawmakers Fed up With Biden’s Deadly Border Crisis Preview Their Plan To Fix It

Texas Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives unveiled their legislative framework for fixing President Joe Biden’s crisis at the southern border on Thursday while blasting the Democrat commander-in-chief for failing to address the ongoing disaster.

Spearheaded by Rep. Chip Roy, the outline includes several policies aimed at stymying the mass influx of illegal immigration at the southern border. Among the key tenets of the agenda are plans to complete physical border infrastructure, as well as rectify existing enforcement policies neglected by the Biden administration. Cracking down on cartels and criminal organizations is also a core component, according to the delegation.

“With this new Republican majority in the House, our Texas delegation is committed to using every tool and authority at our disposal to hold President Biden, Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas, and this entire administration accountable for their dereliction of duty,” said Rep. Jodey Arrington.

Since taking office, Biden has revoked seemingly every policy imaginable that would permit Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials to effectively secure the U.S.-Mexico border. In June 2021, the administration announced it would be formally ending the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy, which required illegal immigrants seeking asylum to stay in the Latin American country until their court hearing. Spoiler Alert: The One Factor Democrats Fear Could Put Trump Back in the White House

Democrats are urging political groups not to create a third-party bipartisan presidential ticket for the 2024 ballot, warning outside competition could inadvertently hand Donald Trump the presidency.

A group of centrist Democrats from the public policy think tank Third Way is warning against the unintended consequences of elevating an outsider candidate in the 2024 presidential race, according to a new report released Friday. The report details previous failures from groups pushing third-party tickets that siphoned votes away from major-party candidates, resulting in what is known as “spoiling” the election.

“Data showing this discontent and interest in alternatives have led some to consider running a third-party candidate for president in 2024,” the group wrote. “Their reasons might sound high-minded, ripe for the moment, and a needed shakeup for a stale two-party system, but the reality is that a well-financed third-party candidacy will most likely benefit the presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump or a Trump acolyte in 2024.”

The report particularly warns against forming a popular third-party ticket that could siphon off a large number of votes, which in turn could keep all candidates from garnering the 270 electoral votes needed to win the election. If no candidate reaches 270, the race is then decided by the House — which will be controlled by the Republicans in 2024, giving Trump a chance to prevail. If Your Child’s School Can’t Tell Boys From Girls, How Can You Trust Them on Anything?

Last Thursday afternoon, time expired for parents to provide comments on proposed changes to sex education in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), one of the largest school districts in the country, with a population of about 180,000 students. As The Federalist reported last week, the proposal includes labeling boys and girls, respectively, as “assigned” males and females “at birth.” It also includes curricula on “sexual orientation and gender identity” that involves watching a pro-transgender PBS video telling kids they can have “intermediate” private parts.

If you think FCPS officials will carefully consider comments and complaints from parents worried about exposing their prepubescent children to transgender ideology, and perhaps even rethink their plans, I have some swampland in Florida I’d like to sell you. As we have seen from earlier examples of Fairfax County “welcoming comments” on proposed changes to road names, this public survey is nothing more than an empty, perfunctory bureaucratic procedure aimed at pretending that parents have a say regarding what happens during the school day.

Yet even more saliently, FCPS’s willingness to embrace this radical gender ideology and foist it upon thousands of Northern Virginia youth provokes a more important question: If our public schools can’t differentiate boys from girls, what wisdom and knowledge can they impart? . . .

I confess a certain embarrassment to be the one writing on this. When I worked in FCPS, I taught high-school history, not science. Years before that, I earned a respectable but certainly not impressive “B” in my ninth-grade FCPS honors biology class. But I’d like to think the lessons my teacher offered on the rudimentary realities of male and female biology — which of course apply not only to humans but the entirety of the natural order — are still in effect, even if it’s been 24 years since the last time I took a test on stamens, pistils, and gametes. I can still remember us boys immaturely chuckling when our teacher discussed ova and sperm.

But this is no laughing matter. School administrators and educators across the country have dispensed with these basic truths of biology in favor of the latest “findings” from politicized university sociology and “gender studies” departments. Schools take their directives not from biology — or, God forbid, classical philosophy and its articulation of the teleological nature of the human body, oriented, as ova and sperm are, toward the creation of new life — but from politically motivated journalists who attack the few teachers courageous enough to take a stand. New Bill Would Ban Social Media for Children Over Concerns About Mental Health

A Texas state lawmaker has filed legislation that would ban social media for children under the age of 18 in order to alleviate depression and other ill effects of online use.

Republican State Rep. Jared Patterson of North Texas filed bill HB 896 which would require people to be at least 18 years old to sign into a social media platform.

Patterson compared social media to cigarettes, which were previously thought to be harmless but are now banned for children.

“Once thought to be perfectly safe for users, social media access to minors has led to remarkable rises in self-harm, suicide, and mental health issues,” he explained.

China May Have Surpassed US in Number of Nuclear Warheads on ICBMs

The U.S. may no longer enjoy a numerical advantage against China in certain elements of its Intercontinental Ballistic Missile program, according to Strategic Command, which oversees the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

STRATCOM recently sent a classified determination to Congress pursuant to a clause in the fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, which requires congressional notification if China overtakes the U.S. in at least one of three components regarding its ICBM stockpile.

James Inhofe of Oklahoma, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, pushed the Pentagon to declassify the determination as required under the law in a letter sent Monday to STRATCOM commander Admiral Charles Richard.

“We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to China’s growing military might,” Inhofe wrote on Twitter, where he publicized the letter. “The [Biden administration] must be open and honest with the American people about the threat Beijing poses to global order and our way of life.”

Mike Rogers of Alabama, the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, also signed onto the letter alongside the ranking members of the Strategic Forces panels in both chambers: Sen. FDA Authorizes Bivalent COVID-19 Boosters for Children Under Age 5

On Thursday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that it expanded emergency use authorization for the bivalent COVID-19 booster for children between the ages of six months to 5 years old.

Now, children who have received the primary two-dose COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna could be eligible for the third shot (via CNBC):

The eligibility rules vary depending on whether children received Moderna’s or Pfizer’s original vaccines as their primary series.

Here are the eligibility criteria:

Children 6 months through 5 years old who received Moderna’s two-dose primary series are now eligible for an omicron booster two months after their second shot.

Trump Hired a Crew To Search His Storage Units. Here’s What They Found.

By WND. It dawned on me that the liberal media’s coverage of the FBI’s illegal Mar-a-Lago raid in August is the same modus operandi as the Russian collusion hoax: death by a thousand cuts. The only difference is that the liberal media ate more crow over the latter, with a litany of so-called bombshell stories about Trump and the Kremlin, which fell apart. And, the liberal media often ended up hoisting themselves on their own petard. The levels of corruption are similar, as they both have the same point source: the Department of Justice. . .

The email tag between Trump’s lawyers and the National Archives stretched for months, but they did return items in question, pointing to cooperation. Also, Trump was the president who could declassify anything at will, which makes it nearly impossible to indict a former president for mishandling classified materials, unlike Hillary Clinton, who was guilty of that crime but was never charged because she’s a Democrat.

Now, we have not one, but two, marked classified items discovered in Trump’s storage unit in West Palm Beach, Florida. The former president hired the crew that rummaged through the contents, and the team turned over the documents to the FBI (via WaPo):

Lawyers for former president Donald Trump found at least two items marked classified after an outside team hired by Trump searched a storage unit in West Palm Beach, Fla., used by the former president, according to people familiar with the matter.

Those items were turned over to the FBI, according to those people, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.

Classified Documents Found in Trump Search of Storage Site

By New York Times. Former President Donald J. Trump hired people to search four properties after being directed by a federal judge to look harder for any classified material still in his possession, and they found at least two documents with classified markings inside a sealed box in one of the locations, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Mr. Trump’s search team discovered the documents at a federally run storage site in West Palm Beach, Fla., the person said, prompting his lawyers to notify the Justice Department about them. . .

The discovery of the documents at the storage unit, maintained by the federal General Services Administration, came during a series of wider searches that were completed around Thanksgiving and conducted at Mr. Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, N.J.; at Trump Tower in New York; and in a storage closet at Mar-a-Lago, according to two people familiar with the events. Unvaxxed 14-Year-old Rejected by Top Hospital for Lifesaving Surgery

A problem that already has become so severe in America’s health care industry that a physicians’ group has launched a campaign demanding that Congress intervene has flared again.

This time it is affecting the life of a 14-year-old girl who needs a lifesaving kidney transplant – but has been refused medical care by Duke University Hospital because she is unvaccinated.

WND reported earlier that situation had developed so often that the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons created an online process to allow Americans to email their members of Congress.

The AAPS is demanding that transplant centers be legally prohibited from “treating an individual as ineligible to donate or receive an organ” or assign “a lower priority to an individual waiting to receive an organ” if that individual has declined to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Rep. Ben Cline, R-Va., said his proposal to do just that is in response to “several reports from across the United States of individuals being removed from the organ transplant list or moved to ‘inactive’ status as a result of being unvaccinated.” (Read more from “Unvaxxed 14-Year-old Rejected by Top Hospital for Lifesaving Surgery” HERE)
