Since the day President Biden entered office, the nation knew it would be a surprise if he finished one full term in the Oval Office.

Mr. Biden himself indicated that it was inconceivable that he would run for reelection. Yet 2½ years into his presidency, Mr. Biden shows no signs of bowing out of the 2024 presidential race.

It is clear, however, that with Mr. Biden’s age, frailty, proneness to gaffes, and the vast majority of Democratic voters hoping he does not seek a second term, the Democratic Party reluctantly supports Mr. Biden as its leader.

So, what happens now? Is there an alternative candidate for the Democrats? I’m willing to make a bold prediction and say that by the end of October, Mr. Biden will withdraw his reelection bid, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom will be declared the Democrats’ most viable option for the presidency. . .

Earlier this year, the Democratic National Committee overhauled the party’s presidential nominating calendar. Bill de Blasio Wondered if Marrying a Self-Identified Lesbian Meant There Was a ‘Time Bomb Ticking’ in His Marriage

Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and his wife, Chirlane McCray, announced on Wednesday that they are separating after nearly 30 years of marriage.

In an interview with the New York Times, the couple cited de Blasio’s ill-fated 2020 presidential campaign and his seven-year tenure as mayor for putting a strain on the relationship.

And de Blasio noted that he had some initial doubts about the pairing — given that McCray had once publicly identified herself as a lesbian.

“For the guy who took the chance on a woman who was an out lesbian and wrote an article called ‘I Am a Lesbian,'” de Blasio told The Times, “there was a part of me that would at times say, ‘Hmmm, is this like a time bomb ticking? Is this something that you’re going to regret later on?’ So I always lived with that stuff.”

White House Refuses to Answer Questions About Biden’s Estranged 4-Year-Old Granddaughter Fathered by Hunter

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre once again declined to answer questions about President Biden’s estranged granddaughter following a weekend report claiming that aides are told not to acknowledge Hunter’s child with a former stripper.

Jean Pierre was asked about the New York Times’ bombshell report Saturday on 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, whom Hunter Biden shares with Arkansas baby mama Lunden Alexis Roberts, at Wednesday’s press briefing.

“There was a story in the New York Times over the weekend about Hunter Biden’s daughter in Arkansas. Does the president acknowledge this little girl as his granddaughter?” a reporter asked.

“I don’t have anything to share from here,” Jean-Pierre bluntly responded.

Biden Admin Appeals Injunction Preventing It From Coordinating With Social Media to Suppress Speech

The Biden administration appealed a preliminary injunction Wednesday issued to prevent federal officials from communicating with social media platforms to censor content containing protected speech.

Western District of Louisiana Judge Terry A. Doughty issued the injunction Tuesday after finding plaintiffs in the free speech lawsuit Missouri v. Biden, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, had produced “evidence of a massive effort by Defendants, from the White House to federal agencies, to suppress speech based on its content.” The Biden administration appealed the injunction to the Fifth Circuit on Wednesday.

The injunction prevented federal officials, including those in the Department of Health and Human Services and the FBI, from communicating with social media platforms for “the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech.”

White House Insists Biden Still Plans to Visit East Palestine Five Months After Train Derailment (VIDEO)

The White House claimed on Wednesday that President Joe Biden still plans to visit East Palestine, Ohio, five months after the Norfolk Southern train derailment disaster.

But White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to share a date when a reporter raised a question about a visit, noting that Biden has “done a lot of travel in recent weeks and months” to other places.

“So, I’m just going to repeat what the president said,” Jean-Pierre said. “He will travel to the area, to East Palestine. Just don’t have anything to share on travel or upcoming dates that he’ll be there. But the president said it, he’s going to go. So he will go. Once we have a date, we’ll certainly share that.”

A Norfolk Southern freight train derailed on February 3 while passing through the small town of East Palestine, a village near Ohio’s border with Pennsylvania. Locals soon began to raise concerns about health and environmental threats posed by a controlled burn of toxic chemicals at the crash site meant to deter a large explosion. Foreign Policy Elite Call for Bringing Ukraine Into NATO Immediately

By Breitbart. Foreign policy “experts” vocally in favor of Ukraine called on Wednesday for bringing the embattled nation into NATO, which many say would risk a direct NATO-Russia war.

Alexander Vindman, who was at the center of former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, former Russia ambassador Michael McFaul, former Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ), and other foreign policy “experts” released an op-ed on Politico Magazine ahead of the NATO summit:

In Vilnius, the alliance should launch a roadmap that will lead clearly to Ukraine’s membership in NATO at the earliest achievable date. As with Finland and Sweden, the process can bypass the Membership Action Plan in light of the close and ongoing interactions between NATO and Ukraine. NATO heads of state and government should task the Council in permanent session to develop recommendations on the timing and modalities of an accession process for Ukraine for decision at the next NATO summit in Washington in 2024.

Ukraine and Russia Accuse Each Other Plotting Attack on Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has claimed that Russia is plotting a potentially dangerous attack on Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, which Russian forces have occupied for more than a year. Russia has accused Ukraine, meanwhile, of plotting to attack the same sprawling Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Enerhodar, southern Ukraine, in the next two days.

It was a nerve-racking night for people across Ukraine amid the crossfire of accusations, but especially in the towns and cities near the Zaporizhzhia plant, including the city of Zaporizhzhia just a few miles away, which Russia never managed to capture.

Zelenskyy laid out his claims in detail Tuesday night, saying Russian forces had “placed objects resembling explosives on the roof of several power units” at the power plant.

Russia, meanwhile, accused Ukraine of planning to strike the plant with missiles or drones packed with radioactive waste from other nuclear facilities.

Ted Cruz Trusts Hunter Biden Whistleblower Because He’s a ‘Gay Democrat’

Republican Senator Ted Cruz said he has no reason not to believe Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers regarding their testimony about the Biden family, including one career government employee who is a “gay Democrat married to a man.”

President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, have been investigated by GOP-led House committees since Republicans took over the House majority based on alleged criminalities associated with Hunter Biden’s former position on the board of Ukraine gas company Burisma, as well as purported contact with foreign entities regarding financial dealings.

Cruz’s entire Monday episode was about the IRS employees’ testimony and how U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland could be impeached “if what they’re saying is true.” . . .

Gary Shapley, one of the whistleblowers who Cruz is not referencing, told the House Ways & Means Committee in a May 26 deposition that he had evidence that the Department of Justice (DOJ) “provided preferential treatment, slow-walked the investigation, did nothing to avoid obvious conflicts of interest in this investigation,” according to transcripts. Latest Whistleblower Reports on Bidens Are Ultra Explosive

The latest whistleblower reports about the business dealings of the Biden family sound less like a mere whistle and more like a five-alarm fire bell.

Steadily, almost inexorably, the reports released late last week raise the likelihood that President Joe Biden was involved with his son Hunter’s obviously disreputable business dealings. Steadily, almost inexorably, it becomes more likely that elements of the Justice Department took unusual steps to protect both Bidens from legal accountability.

Denials from Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has blatantly politicized the Justice Department and greatly undermined public trust in the justice system, don’t sound credible. And the plea deal afforded Hunter Biden looks not just lenient but corrupt.

Let’s start by considering the plea deal on its own terms. Hunter Biden apparently will receive probation for two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes, as if he were merely culpable for careless error or inordinate delays in payments. Yet if one of the new whistleblower reports is true — and so far, all of them seem quite credible — then the Biden son veered well beyond that level of “mistake.” Instead, if true, he likely committed the sort of willful, intentional tax fraud that should trigger tax felony counts.

Two heretofore believable whistleblowers say Hunter Biden claimed a sex club membership and multiple payments to prostitutes, including for expensive plane fares, as if they were legitimate business expenses. Clearly, these could not possibly be the result of a confused interpretation of IRS regulations. Nobody within even light-years of reason could read tax laws as permitting the expensing of hookers. The repeated attempts to take tax write-offs for illegal sexcapades can only be intentional dodges of paying money due to the Treasury. Target Bans Mark Levin Book, Scared of Offending Democrats

Target, already suffering through poor sales linked to its all-in LGBT agenda during Pride Month, could suffer a second punch later this year for banning a new book from New York Times bestseller and media mogul Mark Levin because it might offend Democrats.

“Target has informed my publisher, Simon & Schuster, that it will not carry my new book when it is released on September 19. It claims that certain customers might be offended by the title. Imagine that!” Levin tweeted before opening his nightly No. 1 radio show Wednesday night.

The forthcoming book is titled The Democratic Party Hates America. . .

The ban is likely to further help presales, which are already in record territory. The book stands as Amazon’s No. 1 for political books and a remarkable No. 11 overall.

Levin, known among supporters as “The Great One,” probably figured some outlets might not like the focus of his book, but a liberal ban at a time conservatives are being criticized for policing books in grade schools is ironic. Biden’s DHS Restarts ’Catch and Release’ App for Illegal Aliens

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has restarted admitting foreign nationals into the United States via a Port of Entry near Laredo, Texas, through its migrant mobile app despite reports that those using the app were being extorted.

As part of its expansive Catch and Release network, Biden’s DHS started allowing foreign nationals to use the “CBP One” mobile app — enticing those in Mexico who are pregnant, mentally ill, elderly, disabled, homeless, or crime victims to schedule a border appointment to get released into the U.S. interior.

“Scheduling an appointment in CBP One provides a safe, orderly, and humane process for noncitizens to access ports of entry rather than attempting to enter the United States irregularly,” DHS officials have said of the app.

As Breitbart News reported last month, first-hand accounts circulated that foreign nationals were being extorted by Mexican officials while trying to use the app.

For example, some said they were forced to pay thousands of Mexican pesos to keep their scheduled appointment at the border. Now, Border Report reveals that despite such allegations, DHS has restarted admissions of foreign nationals in Laredo.
