Entitled: Zelensky Says He Won’t Hold Elections Unless Americans Pay For Them

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded that taxpayers in the United States and European Union send the country even more aid if the West wishes for elections to be held next year.

In an interview published by the president’s office on Sunday evening, Zelensky said that he would be willing to hold elections despite the ongoing martial law amid the war with Russia, so long as the U.S. and EU bankroll the voting process.

The Ukrainian leader said that elections during peacetime typically cost around 5 billion hryvnia ($135 million) but did not speculate as to how much more they would cost during a war, though presumably it would be much higher.

Zelensky said that he discussed the topic of funding for the 2024 elections with U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who has been one of the staunchest supporters of sending more aid to Ukraine on Capitol Hill.

“I told [Sen. Graham]: If the United States and Europe give us financial support… I’m sorry, I will not hold elections on credit, I will not take money from weapons and give it to elections either. But if you give me this financial support, if the parliamentarians realize that we need to do this, then let’s quickly change the legislation and, most importantly, let’s take risks together,” Zelensky said. Poll: Even Democrats Agree Biden’s Too Old for 2nd Term

President Joe Biden has finally united almost the entire the nation as one, although not in a way he might have planned. A poll released Monday shows broad public belief he is just too old to be effective in a second term.

The revelation comes in polling from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research which finds much of the public across all party affiliations united in sizing up the one trait octogenarian Biden cannot change.

AP reports in the poll, fully 77 percent said Biden is too old to be effective for four more years. Not only do 89 percent of Republicans say that, so do 69 percent of Democrats. That view is held across age groups, not just by young people, though older Democrats specifically are more supportive of his potential for a 2024 bid.

In contrast, about half of U.S. adults surveyed say Trump is too old for the office, even as Democrats are far more likely to disqualify Trump by age than are Republicans.

The poll of 1,165 adults was conducted Aug. 10-14, 2023, using a sample drawn from NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak Panel, which is designed to be representative of the U.S. population. Former Top Ukraine Prosecutor Comes Out Swinging Against Joe and Hunter Biden

In an exclusive interview with Fox News, former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin detailed the involvement he believed President Biden, the then-vice president, played in his firing and how it involved Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

During the interview with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, Shokin said he was ousted in 2016 because he was investigating Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company where Hunter Biden served on the board. Shokin also claimed that Joe and Hunter Biden accepted bribes in the case, and that the then-vice president ultimately hurt America’s reputation and created the groundwork for Russia to invade Ukraine.

“I have said repeatedly in my previous interviews that Poroshenko fired me at the insistence of the then Vice President Biden because I was investigating Burisma,” Shokin told Fox News in the interview which aired Saturday evening.

“You understood me correctly, this is how it was,” he added after a follow-up question from Kilmeade about Biden’s involvement. “There were no complaints whatsoever and no problems with how I was performing at my job. But because pressure was repeatedly put on [then-Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko, that is what ended up in him firing me.” . . .

In March 2016, Poroshenko ousted Shokin, who was appointed one year earlier, after facing pressure from the U.S. government. The international community, led by the U.S. and then-Vice President Biden who led U.S.-Ukraine policy, believed Shokin was allowing corruption to fester in the nation’s government and his own office. Chloe Cole: ‘I Was Told Transitioning Would Save Me. It Destroyed My Life’

Chloe Cole remembers the exact moment she knew she wanted to detransition. The 19-year-old from California’s Central Valley had undergone “top” surgery (a full or partial mastectomy) in her mid-teens to transition from female to male and returned to high school as Leo. Then, in 2021, as part of her psychology module, she found herself learning about family and parenting.

“It came as a huge wake-up call to me,” says Cole. “As I listened, I realised that I had a maternal instinct, that one day I’d like to have kids of my own, but that the effects of being prescribed puberty blockers and testosterone during my transition might mean I couldn’t.”

With hindsight, she agrees it is odd that it hadn’t dawned on her before, but she was only 15 at the time of her surgery and having children one day or being able to breastfeed them really wasn’t the first thing on her mind. “But sitting in that class, it hurt me really deeply to realise how a part of me had been taken away.”

The doctors, who she now says “railroaded” her into surgery, had assured her transitioning would make her happier. “In that moment in the psychology class, I knew that I was losing more and more of myself. It shattered my heart into a million pieces.”

Yikes! Here’s How Many Pilots Lied About Having Medical Problems Which Would Bar Them From Flying

Nearly 5,000 pilots are suspected to have lied about having mental health conditions and other health disorders which would prevent them from flying.

The Washington Post broke the news that nearly 600 of those pilots being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) fly planes for passenger flights and over 4,800 are veterans receiving disability benefits. The Post reported:

The pilots under scrutiny are military veterans who told the Federal Aviation Administration that they are healthy enough to fly, yet failed to report — as required by law — that they were also collecting veterans benefits for disabilities that could bar them from the cockpit.

Veterans Affairs investigators discovered the inconsistencies more than two years ago by cross-checking federal databases, but the FAA has kept many details of the case a secret from the public.

FAA spokesman Matthew Lehner acknowledged in a statement that the agency has been investigating approximately 4,800 pilots “who might have submitted incorrect or false information as part of their medical applications.” The FAA has now closed about half of those cases, he said, and has ordered about 60 pilots — who Lehner said “posed a clear danger to aviation safety” — to cease flying on an emergency basis while their records are reviewed.

Judge Rules Muslim, Christian Parents Can’t Opt Out of Lessons on Gender Identity, Sexuality (VIDEO)

A Maryland district court ruled Thursday that Christian and Muslim parents cannot opt their children out of lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation.

A coalition of religious parents sued the Montgomery County Public School Board in March after being notified that students could no longer opt out of lessons discussing gender identity and sexual orientation, arguing that such instruction violates their religious rights. Judge Deborah Boardman denied a preliminary injunction that would have reinstated an opt-out policy ahead of the 2023-2024 school year that begins on Monday.

“The Court concludes the plaintiffs’ asserted due process right to direct their children’s upbringing by opting out of a public-school curriculum that conflicts with their religious views is not a fundamental right. Rational basis review is the appropriate level of scrutiny,” Boardman wrote in her opinion.

Montgomery County Public Schools released a list of LGBTQ-inclusive books in November 2022 that would be implemented in elementary school lessons throughout the year, according to a school presentation. In pre-kindergarten, students will be read “Pride Puppy,” a story of a family celebrating Pride Day that discusses the words “intersex” and “drag queen,” and in fifth-grade students will read “Born Ready,” a book that promotes the idea that “a child-knows-best” when discussing “gender transitioning.”

“Montgomery County Public Schools remains committed to cultivating an inclusive and welcoming learning environment and creating opportunities where all students see themselves and their families in curriculum materials,” the district said in a press release following the decision. “We also will continue to adhere to our responsibility to include instructional materials that reflect the diversity of the local and global community by exploring the aspirations, issues, and achievements of women and men, people with disabilities, people from diverse racial, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as those of diverse gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.”

Ramaswamy Stands by Calling Ayanna Pressley a Modern KKK Grand Wizard

2024 presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy stood by calling Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) “a modern grand wizard of the KKK.”

Ramaswamy was pressed about a comment he made about Pressley Friday during a campaign stop with voters in Iowa during an appearance Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union with host Dana Bash.

Bash challenged Ramaswamy on calling Pressley “a modern grand wizard of the KKK,” after asking what his reaction was to the Jacksonville shooting that occurred on Saturday, then pressing him on how he believed his comments denying having experienced white supremacy would be seen by the victim’s families.

“You know, I’m sure, the KKK was responsible for more than a century worth of horrific lynchings, rapes, murders of black people. How in any way are the views you’re talking about comparable to the views and atrocities committed by the KKK?” Bash asked.

“I think it is the same spirit to say that I can look at you and, based on just your skin color, that I know something about the content of your character, that I know something about the content of the viewpoints that you’re allowed to express,” Ramaswamy responded. “For Ayanna Pressley to tell me that because of my skin color, I can’t express my views, that is wrong, that is divisive. Ultra-Secretive Club That Hosts Some of The US’ Most Powerful Men Underpays, Overworks Employees in ‘Frat House’ Environment: Lawsuit

Workers at Bohemian Grove, one of the oldest and most secretive men’s retreats in the country, complain that they are underpaid and overworked, especially during two weeks in July when some of the most powerful men in the country descend on its woodland camps in northern California, according to a recent lawsuit.

The campers, who have included Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, former secretary of state Henry Kissinger, and a host of past presidents and billionaires, descend on the camps, which spread over 2,700 acres in Monte Rio, California. Most of the activities focus on drinking and eating, said one of the workers, who are known as “valets” at the camps.

“These guys, they don’t want that college experience to go away,” said Anthony Gregg in an interview with AirMail published Saturday.

“Now they [just] have more money and better alcohol.”

Gregg is one of three named plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit filed in June in U.S. District Court in Northern California against the Bohemian Club, the San Francisco-based non-profit that runs the more than 100 exclusive camps. Why Trump’s Mugshot Is a Big Win for Trump

Donald Trump’s mugshot will be the most trafficked photo in the history of planet Earth because social media is so ubiquitous.

Yesterday, he went to the Fulton County jailhouse where he was arrested and fingerprinted. They took his picture. The mugshot is now out.

It’s a win for Trump to have his mugshot taken. The Left thought it would be a win for them, but here’s the thing about Trump: Trump is a walking, living, breathing meme. He is made for TV. He is made for the Internet. He’s changed our age because of that.

It’s not as though no one knew he was arrested. It’s not as though it was a shock dawning on the American people that Donald Trump is under indictment in four separate jurisdictions. We’ve known about all of this for months.

Putin Breaks Silence on Prigozhin’s Plane Crash

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday made his first comments about Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin’s presumed death in a plane crash.

“I’ve known Prigozhin for a very long time, since the early 1990s. He was a man with no easy fate. He made some serious mistakes in his life, but he also achieved the needed results—both for himself and, when I asked him, for the common cause,” Putin said during a televised meeting, according to the Kremlin-controlled news agency Tass.

Putin’s comments are the closest words yet in way of confirmation regarding Prigozhin’s death. The founder of the mercenary Wagner organization was listed as a passenger on a jet that crashed in Russia’s Tver region on Wednesday, killing all 10 people aboard.

Prigozhin was once a close ally of Putin, and his Wagner Group grew to prominence during the war in Ukraine after Putin’s formal military suffered a string of defeats at the ends of Kyiv’s forces. More recently, though, Prigozhin fell out of favor with the Kremlin after he accused Russia’s military of attacking his troops before launching a brief mutiny against Moscow in late June that ended shortly after it began.
