Man Known for Exposing Alleged Sexual Predators Killed in Confrontation

A man known for entrapping alleged sexual predators by posing online as a 15-year-old girl was killed over the weekend in a confrontation with a man he accused of being a predator.

Robert Wayne Lee, 40, known as “Boopac Shakur” on social media, was shot and killed by one of two teenagers he confronted at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, police said.

Lee frequently shared videos of himself confronting alleged predators to his nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram and more than 11,000 followers on Facebook.

Lee confronted two teenagers, ages 17 and 18, at a restaurant in Pontiac, Michigan, just north of Detroit. He accused one of the teens of being a pedophile and punched him, according to a news release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

The teen who was punched pulled out a knife, and the other teen, suspected to be the younger one, pulled out a pistol and shot Lee multiple times, police said. (Read more from “Man Known for Exposing Alleged Sexual Predators Killed in Confrontation” HERE)
