U.S. Intel Uncovers Tech Firm’s Alleged China Ties: Concerns of Technology Transfer and National Security Implications

The United States government is intensifying scrutiny on G42, an artificial intelligence firm controlled by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), amid concerns that the company may be concealing the extent of its collaboration with China, according to anonymous sources. According to a report by The New York Times, American intelligence agencies, including the CIA, have issued warnings about G42’s partnerships with Chinese companies deemed security threats, such as Huawei, raising fears that the firm could serve as a conduit for transferring advanced American technology to China. The Biden administration has reportedly pressured the UAE to sever ties with Chinese entities, with the prospect of sanctions looming over G42.

The CIA, in particular, has reportedly compiled a classified profile of G42’s CEO, Peng Xiao. Educated in the United States, Peng Xiao renounced his American citizenship for Emirati citizenship, adding a layer of complexity to the intelligence assessments. While the details of the CIA document remain undisclosed, it underscores the significance attached to G42’s activities and its leadership.

The UAE, seeking to diversify its economy beyond oil income, has invested heavily in G42 as a cornerstone of its artificial intelligence industry. While G42 publicly announces collaborations with Western companies, including AstraZeneca and OpenAI, classified intelligence reports allege more dubious dealings with Chinese firms. The CIA has reportedly produced a classified profile of G42’s CEO, Peng Xiao, who relinquished American citizenship for Emirati citizenship, though the document’s conclusions remain undisclosed.

The Biden administration, aware of the potential risks, has embarked on a diplomatic campaign, urging the UAE to sever ties between G42 and Chinese entities. High-level discussions between U.S. and UAE officials have taken place, including a White House meeting in June between the UAE’s secretive national security adviser, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, and his American counterpart, Jake Sullivan. During these engagements, concerns were raised about G42’s leadership and its collaboration with Chinese firms, with the Biden administration even pointing to the possibility of imposing sanctions on the Emirati firm.

G42, with its diverse portfolio encompassing a $10 billion technology investment fund, an Arabic language A.I. model, a tech talent platform, a health care company, and a genome-sequencing program, is a key player in the UAE’s ambitious artificial intelligence industry. The company’s investments overseas, including a $100 million purchase of shares in ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, have raised eyebrows in international business and diplomatic circles.

NATO Reaffirms Commitment to Ukraine’s Membership; Report: Russia Offered to End War If Ukraine Dropped NATO Bid

In a recent announcement, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, reiterated the alliance’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s long-term membership, affirming that all NATO members agree on Ukraine eventually joining. However, Stoltenberg emphasized that this accession would occur post-war and only after significant reforms have been implemented.

Stoltenberg highlighted the forthcoming NATO-Ukraine Council meeting, where discussions would center on identifying and prioritizing key reforms necessary for Ukraine to meet the criteria for NATO membership. He cited recent support measures, such as the air defense coalition, substantial funding, and the inauguration of the F-16 training center in Romania for Ukrainian pilots, as demonstrations of NATO’s commitment to Ukraine’s security.

While underscoring NATO’s consensus on Ukraine’s eventual membership, Stoltenberg clarified that full accession would be contingent on Ukraine’s resolution of the ongoing conflict and the implementation of critical reforms. He emphasized the need for “full interoperability” between Ukrainian and NATO forces, based on NATO doctrines and training procedures.

Addressing concerns about admitting a nation currently at war, Stoltenberg stated, “All Allies agree that in the midst of a war full membership is not possible.” Nonetheless, he expressed the alliance’s commitment to exploring ways to bring Ukraine and NATO closer together during this challenging period.

This affirmation echoes previous statements, despite past criticism from within the alliance. Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz have expressed reservations, with Orban questioning the readiness of all NATO members to accept Ukraine and Scholz advocating caution until after the conflict, citing unmet criteria and conditions.

Despite these reservations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted in September that Ukraine considers itself “a de facto member of NATO.” The cautious approach extends beyond NATO, with European leaders expressing a similar sentiment regarding Ukraine’s potential European Union membership, emphasizing the need for reforms and the resolution of internal challenges before formal action is taken.

Russia Offered to End War if Ukraine Dropped NATO Bid: Kyiv Official

By Newsweek. Russia offered to end Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine in the spring of 2022 if Ukraine agreed to drop its ambitions to join NATO, according to the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s political party, who was present at peace negotiations.

David Arakhamia, leader of the Ukrainian political party Servant of the People, revealed part of the purported deal during an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalia Moseychuk on Friday. The Kyiv official previously led the Ukrainian delegation that held peace talks with senior Russian officials in the months following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Both sides of the war have laid out conditions for a ceasefire in the conflict in recent months, but many war analysts doubt neither Zelensky nor Russian President Vladimir Putin currently has a serious urge to end the 21-month-long fight.

According to Arakhamia, however, there was a drafted peace agreement between Ukrainian and Russian negotiators early in the war. Arakhamia said that Moscow pledged to end the fighting if Ukraine’s agreed to remain neutral and forego its bid to join NATO. Christian School That Protested Trans-Identifying Student Sues State

A Vermont Christian school that pulled out of a basketball game over a trans-identifying male player is suing the state for barring it from state tournaments as well as a state tuition program.

Mid Vermont Christian School in Hartford filed a federal lawsuit against the state in Burlington on Tuesday, alleging that the Vermont Agency of Education committed religious discrimination when it refused to designate the school as an approved independent school.

“Mid Vermont Christian and its students are being irreparably harmed by being denied participation in the Town Tuitioning and Dual Enrollment Programs and middle school and high school athletics,” the lawsuit states.

“This civil rights action seeks to protect a Christian school and its students and parents from unconstitutional religious discrimination and hostility,” the complaint reads.

Back in February, Mid Vermont Christian forfeited a girls basketball playoff game, saying a trans-identifying male player on the opposing team jeopardized “the fairness of the game and the safety of our players.” (Read more from “Christian School That Protested Trans-Identifying Student Sues State” HERE)

Hamas Hostages’ Whereabouts Unknown, Complicating Negotiations for Release

The Argentine news outlet Infobae reported on Sunday, citing “sources familiar with the details of the [hostage] agreement,” that the jihadist terrorist organization Hamas does not know the location of some of the estimated 240 people abducted from Israel on October 7, complicating the group’s ability to negotiate for their release.

The Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani appeared to verify that report on Sunday, telling the Financial Times that some of the hostages were “missing” and that Hamas would allegedly use the time bought in a truce Israel agreed to in exchange for the release of hostages to find others they have allegedly lost. Qatar allows Hamas, a genocidal jihadist terror organization, to maintain its “political” operations base in Doha and has been helping Hamas communicate with the government of Israel and its allies.

The whereabouts of the hostages not in direct Hamas custody remain unknown. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a rival terrorist group, reportedly claimed to be keeping 30 of those hostages imprisoned. Some reports have suggested that organized crime syndicates in Gaza, which Hamas controls, may be keeping individual hostages or families in captivity independent of direct Hamas control.

Hamas took its hostages on October 7 as part of a massive, unprecedented terror assault it has dubbed the “al-Aqsa flood.” On that day, the jihadists invaded Israel and began indiscriminately killing civilians, raiding residential communities and executing entire families in door-to-door attacks. The terrorists filmed themselves abducting people, killing them, torturing them, desecrating the bodies of victims, and posted many of the videos to social media, including the profiles of their victims. Eyewitness and forensic evidence indicate that the terrorists engaged in multiple acts of gang rape, including at least one killing in which a woman was shot in the head in the middle of a gang rape. Authorities have also found evidence of Hamas terrorists killing and mutilating children, including decapitated and charred bodies of babies. Israeli officials estimate the death toll of the “al-Aqsa flood” to be upwards of 1,200 people. (Read more from “Hamas Hostages’ Whereabouts Unknown, Complicating Negotiations for Release” HERE)

Xi Jinping Tells Chinese Women to Get Married and Make Babies

Frustrated by his inability to counter China’s rapidly declining birthrate, dictator Xi Jinping abandoned his rhetorical commitment to “gender equality” at a meeting with the All-China Women’s Federation and told women to start getting married and having babies to secure China’s future.

“It is necessary to guide women to play their unique role in carrying forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and establishing good family virtues to create a new trend of family civilization,” Xi said at the meeting in early November.

“Only with harmonious families, good family education, and correct family traditions can children be raised and society develop in a healthy manner,” he contended.

Xi said his regime would “actively cultivate a new culture of marriage and child-bearing,” including more enthusiastic “guidance” for young people who do not grasp that marrying young and raising large families is part of their duty to the nation.

To that end, Xi said the Chinese Communist Party will seek to “organize and motivate women to contribute their strength to Chinese modernization,” by which he meant motivating them to give birth to the generation that will do the modernizing. Former Troops Seek Billions in Damages: Lawsuits Against U.S. Government Over Military Vaccine Mandate

In a significant legal development, former service members have initiated legal action against the U.S. government, seeking billions of dollars in damages due to the military vaccine mandate imposed by the Biden administration. Attorney Dale Saran, a retired Marine, along with fellow attorneys Andy Meyer and Brandon Johnson, is representing the former troops in three separate lawsuits filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. The legal team plans to consolidate these cases into a class-action lawsuit on behalf of a substantial number of service members affected by the mandate, alleging various infringements, including lost pay and benefits.

Saran, who successfully litigated against the Anthrax vaccine in the past, estimates the damages to be in the billions, stating, “It’s worth billions. That’s just flat-out. That’s what it is in backpay. It’s billions of dollars.” The lawsuits specifically address cases where service members were either discharged or given illegal orders to cease drilling activities, resulting in financial setbacks.

The legal proceedings shed light on the estimated 80,000 to 100,000 service members, encompassing both active-duty and reservists, who were impacted by the military vaccine mandate. Saran highlights the lack of due process in many instances, with no administrative separation boards, hearings, or federal recognition boards being conducted. This approach raises concerns about the abrupt dismissal of service members without proper procedural safeguards.

Among the affected individuals is Zach Loesch, a former Coast Guard member, who was personally thanked by President Joe Biden for his heroic efforts during Hurricane Ian. Ironically, Loesch was on the verge of being discharged from the Coast Guard for not complying with the vaccine mandate.

The legal actions focus not only on lost backpay but also on the repayment of enlistment bonuses. Saran explains that individuals who enlisted for a specific period and received bonuses are now being penalized for refusing the experimental vaccine. The cases underscore the complexities arising from the abrupt dismissal of service members without fulfilling their obligations and the subsequent demand for the return of enlistment grants.

Furthermore, Saran contends that the Pentagon already possesses the funds required to award backpay for those who lost active-duty or drill time. He alleges that the Department of Defense (DOD) has unlawfully withheld this money, characterizing it as stolen funds.

Reflecting on his past experience with the Anthrax vaccine, Saran expresses a sense of déjà vu. Having defended individuals who refused the Anthrax vaccine in the late ’90s and early 2000s, he draws parallels to the present situation, emphasizing that mass vaccination of unlicensed vaccines seems to indicate a lack of learning from past mistakes.

The lawsuits, identified as Bassen v. USA, No. 23-211C, Botello v. USA, No. 23-174C, and Harkins v. USA, No. 23-1238C, are currently pending in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, where Saran believes these claims of illegal discharges will be thoroughly examined. The legal proceedings highlight the ongoing challenges and controversies surrounding the military vaccine mandate, underscoring the financial and procedural implications for affected service members.

Independent Arizona Election Audit Discovered Hundreds of Uncounted GOP Ballots, Would Have Changed Results; New Election Fraud Cases Filed in These Four States

By The Leading Report. We the People AZ Alliance (WPAA), an election integrity group in Arizona, has discovered hundreds of instances where people claimed to have voted for Abe Hamadeh but their ballots were not counted, more than the 280 votes he lost in the attorney general’s race. However, WPAA co-founder Shelby Busch stated that the courts refuse to consider the new evidence.

Busch said in the video, “Abe Hamadeh won the attorney general’s race. I’m going to outline for you the evidence behind how Kris Mayes was installed as the illegitimate attorney general. Our evidence in Abe’s case shows that thousands of Arizona voters were disenfranchised on Election Day in violation of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, and Katie Hobbs, the secretary of state and the counties know about these voters and have done nothing to correct it.”

Hamadeh’s election challenge differs from others as he requests judges to count votes from disenfranchised voters, a move that has caused complaints about disenfranchising voters, making judges hesitant to comply.

Busch showed a clip from Maricopa County officials stating that voters’ registrations for vehicles registered with Service Arizona were automatically changed to the registered county unless they unchecked a box on the form.

She said the rejection rates for ballots in every county in Arizona in the 2022 election increased, some significantly. “Some of the county’s rejection rates increased 10,000 percent, with the smaller counties going from .09 percent of the overall voters to 9 percent of the overall voters.” (Read more from “Independent Arizona Election Audit Discovered Hundreds of Uncounted GOP Ballots, Would Have Changed Results” HERE)

New Election Fraud Cases Filed in These Four States

By The Leading Report. A new primary election has been ordered by a Connecticut state court amid allegations of election fraud, with Democrats in Massachusetts and New Jersey also accused of or charged with election fraud. This brings the total of election-related criminal cases across the country to at least three. Bridgeport Superior Court Judge William Clark overturned the results of a Democratic mayoral primary and ordered a new election in connection to allegations of absentee ballot abuse. The general election for mayor was set for Nov. 7, but the judge told lawyers that they had 10 days to work with city and state election officials to determine a potential date for the new election.

In neighboring Massachusetts, a Democratic mayoral candidate is accused of bribing residents to vote. Election officials for the city of Springfield say they witnessed voters being brought to the city hall for early voting and that at least some expected to be given cash after they voted for Democratic candidate Justin Hurst. Video footage has also been released of a man associated with Hurst’s campaign allegedly handing cash to voters last weekend. City officials claim in sworn affidavits that the distribution of $10 bills, clearly visible in surveillance footage, represents voter fraud. Hurst denied all the allegations ahead of Election Day on Tuesday.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts could not confirm or deny if an investigation was taking place, but charges have yet been filed. In contrast, election fraud investigations that have been confirmed in New Jersey have announced charges against two Democrats. Paterson City Council President Alex Mendez (D) is facing additional charges in a 2020 election fraud case, after having previously been charged in June 2020 and February 2021. Last month, state Attorney General Matthew Platkin’s office announced that new charges have been brought against Mendez and his associates regarding mail-in ballot election fraud, which occurred during the 2020 election that was mostly conducted by mail. Mendez’s campaign allegedly collected ballots that were not sealed by voters and examined them at the campaign headquarters to see if they were cast for him. Ballots that were not cast for Mendez were allegedly destroyed and replaced with a ballot for him.

Pfizer Failed To Disclose Risks Of Preterm Birth And Neonatal Death To Pregnant Women In RSV Vaccine Trial

Pfizer failed to inform pregnant women participating in its clinical trial for the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine that the clinical trial of a similar vaccine by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) was halted after a safety signal revealed a potential risk of preterm births leading to neonatal deaths.

Even though Pfizer knew about the potential safety signal and was studying preterm births as an “adverse event of special interest,” it continued to enroll women in its clinical trial and did not fully inform participants of the risks the vaccine may pose to their babies—and in some cases, provided misleading and contradictory statements, according to an investigation by The BMJ.

“The BMJ article demonstrates Pfizer’s continued disregard for the law and patient choice,” attorney Thomas Renz told The Epoch Times in an email. “The entire point of informed consent is to ensure a patient can make a decision based on all available information. Rather than embracing the Nuremberg Code and American laws and regulations, Pfizer seems to view informed consent as a barrier to sales—something that causes vaccine hesitancy or drug hesitancy.”

“There should have never been a clinical trial in pregnant women studying any injections aimed at RSV in pregnant women,” Sasha Latypova told The Epoch Times in an email. “Pregnancy and potential to become pregnant is historically the most protected class of human subjects from clinical research because the risks and potential to cause inadvertent harm are too devastating to justify scientific interest in made-up subjects like RSV.” (Read more from “Pfizer Failed To Disclose Risks Of Preterm Birth And Neonatal Death To Pregnant Women In RSV Vaccine Trial” HERE)
