Trump took a moment to express his deep appreciation for the service members of the U.S. Armed Forces, border patrol, law enforcement, ICE, and other patriots working diligently to preserve the nation’s system and defend its southern border. Acknowledging the challenges the country faces, he urged Americans not to lose hope, assuring them that by the next Thanksgiving in 2024, the nation would be well on its way to becoming “stronger, safer, more prosperous, and greater than ever before.”

The former president’s optimistic message comes at a time when he continues to dominate the Republican primary field, according to recent polling data. A survey by Emerson College Polling indicated Trump’s strong lead with 64 percent support in the primary field nationally, while a Harvard-Harris poll showed him approaching 70 percent backing. Trump’s popularity extends beyond the primary race, as both polls indicated him holding an advantage over President Joe Biden in potential matchups.
