Zelensky Reveals U.S. And Ukraine ‘Working’ on Scheme for 10 Years of Military Aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that the United States and Ukrainian governments are “working on a bilateral security agreement” that would result in sending additional monetary aid to Ukraine over the next ten years.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Zelensky noted he had spoken to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) thanking “him and all the congressmen for their support” of Ukraine and for voting to send a $61 billion aid package out of a $95 billion foreign aid package.

Zelensky added that during his conversation with Jeffries, he had “emphasized the need for Patriot systems.” . . .

“Also, our teams, Ukraine and the United States, are currently working on a bilateral security agreement, and we are already working on a specific text. Our goal is to make this agreement the strongest of all. We are discussing the specific foundations of our security and cooperation,” Zelensky said. “We are also working on fixing specific levels of support for this year and for the next ten years, including armed support, financial, political, and joint arms production. The agreement should be truly exemplary and reflect the strength of American leadership. I am grateful to both our team and the team of the American side for the progress in drafting the agreement.” (Read more from “Zelensky Reveals U.S. And Ukraine ‘Working’ on Scheme for 10 Years of Military Aid” HERE)

Joe Wishes He Could’ve Met Trump ‘Head to Head’ ‘In the Neighborhood’ (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden suggested Friday he would have liked to fight former President Donald Trump when they were children, echoing similar rhetoric he has used, fantasizing about a physical confrontation with his rival.

During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Show on Friday, Stern and Biden were discussing Biden’s stuttering difficulties as a child when he said he would have liked to meet Trump “head to head” “in the neighborhood.”

“But by that time, I was over most of the stuttering, but like, for example, you know, I mean, Trump makes fun of me,” Biden said. “Here’s the kind of guy in the neighborhood you wish you could have gotten in the neighborhood and meet head to head.”

The shock jock and president then pivoted to the “first fistfight” the president had.

FBI Director Accused of Hypocrisy for Monitoring Conservatives but Not Pro-Hamas Protests

The director of the FBI is being accused of hypocrisy for allowing the targeting of concerned parents, Trump supporters, and American Catholics but not “monitoring” pro-Hamas rallies and protests on college campuses.

Director Christopher Wray was asked in an interview on Tuesday about “actively monitoring” the rallies erupting across college and university campuses, which have become the subject of controversy and condemnation from even senior government officials. Wray replied, “We don’t monitor protests.” He added, “But we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence.”

Social media users reacted, accusing Wray of hypocrisy. Conservative podcast host Graham Allen quoted Wray saying, “We don’t monitor protests,” and wrote:

Author and conservative media commentator Jesse Kelly pointed out the FBI’s failure to investigate the vandalizing and firebombing of pregnancy resource centers, commenting:

Biden DOJ Says Droning American Citizens Is Totally Fine Because Obama’s DOJ Said So

Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) argued Thursday before the Supreme Court that droning American citizens is permissible because Obama’s DOJ said so, whereas questioning election results isn’t OK because the government also says so.

The Supreme Court heard arguments on the scope of presidential immunity after special counsel Jack Smith alleged that former President Donald Trump should be tossed in jail for questioning the administration of the 2020 election.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh posed a series of hypotheticals to DOJ attorney Michael Dreeben about the scope of presidential authority, asking whether Gerald Ford’s pardon of Richard Nixon in 1976 could have been investigated for obstruction of justice “on the theory that [Ford was] interfering with the investigation of Richard Nixon.” . . .

“How about President Obama’s drone strikes?” Kavanaugh asked.

“So the Office of Legal Counsel looked at this very carefully and determined that, number one, the federal murder statute does apply to the executive branch,” Dreeben said. “The president wasn’t personally carrying out the strike, but the aiding and abetting laws are broad, and it determined that a public authority exception that’s built into statutes and that applied particularly to the murder statute, because it talks about unlawful killing, did not apply to the drone strike.” (Read more from “Biden DOJ Says Droning American Citizens Is Totally Fine Because Obama’s DOJ Said So” HERE)

Judge’s Conflicted Political Ties Raise Eyebrows in Trump Trial

“THIS SCAM ‘RUSHED’ TRIAL IS BEING PRESIDED OVER BY POSSIBLY THE MOST CONFLICTED JUDGE IN JUDICIAL HISTORY,” former President Donald J. Trump declared with characteristic understatement via Truth Social. Trump added that Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan “MUST BE REMOVED FROM THIS HOAX IMMEDIATELY.”

Whether Merchan is “the most conflicted judge” ever is debatable. However, he surely belongs in the Conflicted Jurist Hall of Fame.

In fact, Merchan is awash in conflicts of interest in Trump’s “hush money” trial.

First, the judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan, is a Democratic Party activist. Before her LinkedIn page went private, it listed her as director of digital persuasion for the Kamala Harris for the People campaign in 2019.

Loren Merchan has been president of Authentic Campaigns, a digital marketing and communications operation whose clients include left-wing causes and Democratic governors, congressmen, senators, and presidential candidates. Veteran CNN Anchor to Exit Network After Morning Show Disaster

Veteran CNN host Poppy Harlow is leaving the struggling cable news network — two months after the cancellation of “CNN This Morning,” where a slew of on-air meltdowns had sparked last year’s ouster of Don Lemon.

CNN boss Mark Thompson told staffers of Harlow’s departure during CNN’s 9 a.m. editorial call Friday — and Harlow confirmed her exit in an email to colleagues.

“When I walked in the door at CNN in 2008, I was 25 years old and had never been on live TV. Green is an understatement!” Harlow wrote in the email, which was first reported by Vanity Fair.

“I grew up here: as a journalist and as a person.”

Harlow, 41, thanked Thompson, as well as Amy Entelis — the executive vice president for talent, CNN originals, and creative development — writing that the two have “been wonderful and have given me the space to make this decision.” (Read more from “Veteran CNN Anchor to Exit Network After Morning Show Disaster” HERE)

Trump Attorney Attempts to Poke Holes in Witness Credibility as Bragg Trial Hits Day 8

Former President Donald Trump’s attorney attempted to poke holes Friday in the credibility of the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s first witness, former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker, as the first full week of testimony came to a close.

Defense attorney Emil Bove resumed his cross-examination of Pecker Friday morning, continuing to drive home the point that purchasing stories is “standard operating procedure” for Pecker’s tabloid while working to draw out inconsistencies in his testimony. Some jabs landed, some seemed to fall flat: the exchange was nevertheless the most heated in a tedious day of laying the groundwork on both sides, which saw testimony from two new witnesses.

“I’ve been truthful to the best of my recollection,” Pecker told Bove at the end of cross-examination, where Bove had whipped back and forth between various topics trying to highlight contradictions.

Some points of contention were relatively small, like whether Trump had thanked him during a 2017 meeting at Trump Tower “handling” the Karen McDougal and doorman stories. Others of greater consequence, like whether American Media’s conciliation agreement with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in 2021 included an admission of a campaign finance violation.

“Was that another mistake?” Bove pressed Pecker on the former point. Pecker declined to recant his earlier testimony. (Read more from “Trump Attorney Attempts to Poke Holes in Witness Credibility as Bragg Trial Hits Day 8” HERE)

Red State Gov Signs Bill That Paves Way for Arming Teachers Under Conditions

Just a day after the end of the Tennessee legislative session, the state’s governor signed a bill Friday that will allow teachers and school staff to carry handguns on public school grounds.

Gov. Bill Lee (R) signed HB 1202/SB 1325, which would enable trained teachers and school staff to carry handguns in the classroom and around school, the bill noted. They would be required to complete 40 hours of training “specific to school policing that has been approved by the peace officer standards and training,” it said. Teachers and staff would also be required to submit their fingerprints, as well as pass a background check and psychological evaluation, the bill also said.

The bill drew attention from parents, teachers and students, especially those connected to the Covenant School, which faced the state’s deadliest school shooting in March 2023, where the perpetrator reportedly killed three children and three adults, according to News Channel 5 Nashville.

While the Firearms Policy Coalition applauded the bill, it also drew protesters who did a “die-in” demonstration at the state Capitol.

‘For the Love of God’: Leaked Audio Reveals Dem Gov Ripping Biden Admin Over Border Security

In a leaked audio recording posted on social media, New Mexico Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham can be heard expressing deep frustration with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and threatening to send a letter accusing his department of failing to work with her on border security.

“For the love of god, put [Border Patrol agents] at the border in Sunland Park where I don’t have a single Border Patrol agent — not one. And people pour over. And so I’m cranky with the Secretary,” Grisham is heard saying in the audio, which was first posted by an anonymous account on X.

The conversation appeared to largely revolve around federal government seizures of licensed medical and recreational cannabis at Border Patrol checkpoints in New Mexico.

However, it’s not immediately clear who the governor was speaking with. A spokesman for her office confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the audio was authentic, but declined to identify who the other individual was, only saying the person was a “high level admin official.” . . .

Later on in the audio, the governor can be heard threatening to write a letter accusing Mayorkas of failing to work with her office on the immigration crisis. (Read more from “‘For the Love of God’: Leaked Audio Reveals Dem Gov Ripping Biden Admin Over Border Security” HERE)

Registered Sex Offender Steals, Flips Fed’s Vehicle to Escape After Child Porn Discovery During Raid

A Portland registered sex offender who was arrested Wednesday afternoon allegedly led officials into a car crash after they discovered a cellphone during a raid of his home, according to local media.

The man, who was identified as 43-year-old Travis Grygla, was on federal probation after pleading guilty in 2008 to distributing child pornography and a prior state conviction of encouraging child sex abuse as an adult, as well as attempted sexual abuse of a minor as a juvenile, according to Oregon Live. On Wednesday morning Homeland Security Investigations agents arrived at Grygla’s home after a tip alleged he was storing and sharing child pornography images, the outlet reported.

Grygla was arrested by agents and placed in the front passenger seat of an official’s car without handcuffs, however, roughly an hour into the investigation the sex offender told a nearby officer, “This is not going to go good for me,” according to an affidavit obtained by Oregon Live. As agents found hidden memory cards and a black Samsung phone within Grygla’s home, the 43-year-old locked the car doors and placed himself in the driver’s seat.

Grygla then took off, leading agents on a car chase down Portland’s Southeast Division Street onto Interstate 205 northbound, ramming into an agent’s car who attempted to stop him, Oregon Live reported. The registered sex offender reached speeds of 115 to 120 mph as he drove into Washington state.

Multiple agencies including Portland police, Vancouver police, Washington State Patrol and Cowlitz County sheriff’s deputies became involved in the pursuit, which ended with Grygla’s stolen car being flipped by an officer who rammed into the vehicle off an exit of the freeway in Castle Rock, Washington, according to the affidavit.
