Poll Reveals Most Biden Voters Are Voting ‘Against’ Trump Rather than ‘For’ Biden

A recent survey conducted by the Economist/YouGov has revealed a significant trend among President Joe Biden’s supporters: most are casting their vote not out of strong support for Biden but as a vote “against” former President Donald Trump. The poll, which shows Trump leading Biden by two points among registered voters in a 2024 matchup that includes third-party candidates, highlights a key dynamic in the upcoming presidential election.

Key Findings from the Survey

Voting Motives: The survey asked Biden supporters whether they were mostly voting “for” Biden or “against” Trump. A slight majority, 51 percent, admitted that their vote was primarily “against” Trump. Only 48 percent said they were voting “for” the 81-year-old Biden.

Independents’ Views: Among independents planning to vote for Biden, a significant 70 percent stated that their vote was primarily “against” Trump, compared to 30 percent voting “for” Biden.

Trump’s Support Base: Conversely, the survey found that a solid majority of Trump supporters, 67 percent, are voting “for” Trump rather than simply opposing Biden. Only 32 percent indicated their vote was primarily “against” Biden.

Independents Supporting Trump: Among independents supporting Trump, 62 percent said they were voting “for” Trump, while 35 percent were voting “against” Biden.

Perceived Election Outcomes

The survey also gauged respondents’ opinions on the likely outcome of a Biden-Trump matchup:

Expected Winner: A plurality, 41 percent, believe Trump will win if he is the Republican candidate against Biden. In contrast, 34 percent think Biden would win, and 25 percent remain unsure.

Independents’ Expectations: Notably, 42 percent of independents are unsure about the outcome, but more believe Trump would win (37 percent) compared to Biden (21 percent).

Survey Details

The survey was conducted between June 9-11, 2024, among 1,595 U.S. adult citizens. The findings come amid other polls indicating that the Manhattan jury’s guilty verdict in Trump’s controversial business records trial has not negatively impacted his support base, much to the likely dismay of Democrats.

As the 2024 election approaches, these insights into voter motivations and expectations underscore the complex dynamics at play and the critical role that voter sentiments towards both candidates will play in determining the election’s outcome.

Dr. Anthony Fauci: School Closures During COVID-19 Were a ‘Mistake’ (VIDEO)

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a prominent advisor during the COVID-19 pandemic, has reversed his stance on the extended closure of schools, admitting in a recent interview that keeping schools closed for more than a year was a “mistake.”

In an interview with “CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil, Dr. Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), reflected on the school closures. “Keeping it for a year was not a good idea,” Fauci said, in promotion of his new memoir “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service.” When asked if this was a mistake that should not be repeated, Fauci responded, “Absolutely, yeah.”

During the summer of 2020, Fauci strongly advocated for school closures, often clashing with then-President Donald Trump. Fauci supported the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, which recommended closures based on community virus spread. Trump criticized these guidelines as impractical and costly, leading to public disputes between the two.

As some schools reopened in September 2020, data from Brown University’s National COVID-19 School Response Data Dashboard showed fewer than 1% of schools reported COVID-19 cases. A January 2021 CDC study found little evidence that schools significantly contributed to community transmission. Despite this, most schools remained closed through the 2020-2021 academic year due to pressure from teachers’ unions and concerns about virus spread.

During his testimony before the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Fauci admitted the six-feet social distancing guidelines lacked scientific backing, contributing to the closure decisions. This mandate, which drastically limited in-person learning, was revealed to be more of an empiric decision rather than data-driven.

The prolonged closures led to significant educational setbacks. A 2022 report by the US Department of Education showed reading scores among nine-year-olds dropped to their lowest levels in 30 years, while math scores fell for the first time in 50 years. Critics argue that the guidance promoted by public health officials and teachers’ unions did not justify such prolonged closures.

Three Teenagers Arrested for Allegedly Raping Girl for Being Jewish: Report

Three teenagers were arrested by French police for allegedly assaulting and raping 12-year-old girl in antisemitic attack, Le Parisien reported Tuesday.

The accused assailants, aged 12, 13 and 14 years old, allegedly grabbed the young girl from a park near her house into a shed where they hit and raped her, “while making death threats and anti-Semitic remarks,” the outlet reported in French.

One alleged assailant allegedly called her a “dirty Jew,” The Jewish Chronicle reported. One of the alleged assailants was her former boyfriend, Le Parisien reported. The minors reportedly partially admitted to the charges during the course of a judicial hearing and confessed that they were motivated out of a sense for revenge, the outlet noted.

The former boyfriend said he was angry she had hid her Judaism from him, the outlet reported. The boyfriend’s cellphone allegedly showed him making antisemitic comments and images like a burnt Israeli flag, according to the outlet. A second suspected assailant allegedly told law enforcement he was motivated to harm the girl because she uttered anti-Palestinian views, the French media outlet reported. Vladimir Putin Praises ‘Dignity and Courage’ of North Korea

Russian strongman Vladimir Putin praised the “dignity and courage” of the communist regime of North Korea, one of the most repressive governments on Earth, in an article published in the state-run Rodong Sinmun newspaper on Tuesday.

Putin is expected to arrive in Pyongyang on Tuesday night after a brief stop in the far-east Russian city of Yakutsk. Moscow and Pyongyang both confirmed that Putin would visit the country on Monday, squeezing in a stop to meet dictator Kim Jong-un before a planned visit to communist Vietnam.

Reports in Russian state media indicate that Putin and Kim will engage in “intensive” discussions on trade and defense and that Putin is planning on signing a “comprehensive” agreement with North Korea on various issues. The reports did not offer any specificity on what the agreement would include.

North Korea has enjoyed friendly relations with Russia for years that have grown in the past two years in response to Kim Jong-un vocally supporting Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Kim made his first trip outside the country to Russia, meeting with Putin, in September in the eastern city of Vladivostok and inviting him to Pyongyang.

“Putin accepted the invitation with pleasure and reaffirmed his will to invariably carry forward the history and tradition of the Russia-DPRK [North Korea] friendship,” North Korean state media reported at the time. Biden Suffers Another Brain Fart When Announcing Amnesty Plan (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden has had an uptick of worrisome moments in recent weeks, raising concerns about his mental decline and cognitive abilities, all while White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claims that the video evidence we’re seeing amounts to “cheap fakes.” Earlier on Tuesday, when announcing his amnesty plan, the president experienced even more of those moments.

The event was billed as “New Actions to Keep Families Together,” with several mentions about it on the White House briefing room website. Notably missing is a transcript of Biden’s remarks. It’s not hard to see why.

As Biden went to thank the secretary at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with Alejandro Mayorkas standing right there smiling, the president experienced a moment of confusion in real time as he muttered something about introducing him. Mayorkas continued to stand there smiling throughout, as did Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and the others complicit in such elder abuse.

“As Biden’s brain breakages go, that’s probably one of the worst yet,” Bonchie wrote when covering the moment for our sister site of Red State.

JD Vance Responds to Vice President Rumors

On Tuesday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Special Report,” Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) weighed in on the possibility that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would ask him to be his running mate for the November election. . .

“Could you imagine yourself behind the Resolute desk as president?” FNC host Bret Baier asked.

“Well, look, Bret, I think that’s ultimately — that’s Donald Trump’s choice, whether he selects me as vice president,” Vance replied. “My attitude is there is a lot that needs to happen in the United States Senate. I like being a senator, Bret. The president has not asked me. But if he does, I’d certainly let you know.”

“Yeah, I mean, to just say, are you ready to be president on day one?” Baier responded. “That’s the biggest job for a vice-presidential pick, right? Could you be comfortable being president?”

“Look, Bret, I’ve seen a lot of people operate in politics, and I feel very comfortable with the fact that I could do the job,” Vance said. “But, look, you have to have some humility going into this, too. It’s a massive, massive job for anybody to undertake. I’m not auditioning for the job. I asked the people of Ohio to elect me to be a United States Senator. But, certainly, look, if Trump picks up the phone and calls you, the first sort of thought you have to have with yourself is, not just, could I be vice president, but could I stand ultimately in the big chair? Dominion Voting Systems Under Fire for “Hundreds of Discrepancies” Including “Reversed Totals” and “Zero Votes” for Some Candidates in Recent Elections

By ABC News. Puerto Rico’s elections commission said Tuesday that it’s reviewing its contract with a U.S. electronic voting company after hundreds of discrepancies were discovered following the island’s heated primaries.

The problem [reportedly] stemmed from a software issue that caused machines supplied by Dominion Voting Systems to incorrectly calculate vote totals [such that] vote counts were lower than the paper ones in some cases, and some machines reversed certain totals or reported zero votes for some candidates. . .

More than 6,000 Dominion voting machines were used in Puerto Rico’s primaries, with the company stating that software issues stemmed from the digital files used to export results from the machines. . .

In a surprise upset, Jenniffer González, Puerto Rico’s congressional representative, beat Gov. Pedro Pierluisi in the primary held by the New Progressive Party. Meanwhile, Puerto Rico Rep. Jesús Manuel Ortiz defeated Sen. Juan Zaragoza in the primary held by their Popular Democratic Party.

Both parties reported hundreds of ballots showing inaccurate results, with the PNP reporting over 700 errors and the PPD pointing to some 350 discrepancies. These inaccuracies affected ballots for positions including governor, mayor and resident commissioner. 4 Connecticut Democratic Operatives Charged in Absentee Ballot Misuse Investigation

By Fox News. Four Connecticut Democratic operatives were charged this week with election-related offenses, including one woman who had been previously scrutinized over alleged “ballot stuffing” in a Bridgeport mayoral primary.

Two campaign workers, along with Bridgeport City Councilmember Alfredo Castillo and Democratic Town Committee Vice Chair Wanda Geter-Pataky, were charged with unlawful possession of absentee ballots, among other offenses, according to multiple reports.

Geter-Pataky was in-part accused of failing to sign as an “assister” on an absentee ballot application she had filled out on behalf of a prospective voter, according to an official statement on the case.

A Biden Spokesperson Did Not Just Say *That* to Explain Joe’s Wandering Off at G7 Summit

Katie wrote about it yesterday. President Joe Biden was mentally lost during the G7 Summit in Italy. The man looked lost, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to prevent the Delaware liberal from wandering off. It’s a video that speaks to a major concern of voters this year, which the Biden campaign has opted to spin by declaring the video misinformation. Oh, and that it should essentially be censored on social media. The Biden campaign and their liberal media allies have found their go-to talking point for any video showing Joe’s diminished mental state: it’s misinformation or a deep fake:

It’s not going to work. If the only thing you can think of to spin the bad press on Joe is that it’s misinformation, you’re losing. Eighty-six percent think Joe is too old to run again—that’s not some outlier. It’s a consensus brought on by these very moments. That’s also not dirty politics, folks. People are worried about Joe’s mental health, and rightfully so. And voters have seen the Biden record—they don’t like it.

LOL: White House Insists Videos of Biden’s Public Missteps Are Fabricated (VIDEO)

In a heated press conference on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre vehemently dismissed recent viral videos showcasing President Joe Biden’s public gaffes and awkward moments as “cheap fakes” and products of “bad faith” efforts.

The allegations emerged following a string of videos that purportedly display Biden experiencing difficulty during public appearances. One clip from a Sunday event shows former President Barack Obama seemingly guiding Biden off the stage after he appeared to freeze at a fundraiser. Another video from last week shows Biden apparently wandering away from a group of world leaders in Europe before being redirected by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Addressing reporters for the first time in nearly three weeks, Jean-Pierre refuted the authenticity of these videos. “Yeah. We, and I think you all have called this the ‘cheap fakes video,’ and that’s exactly what they are. They are cheap fakes video. … They are done in bad faith,” Jean-Pierre asserted.

She also criticized the media for focusing on Biden’s physical mishaps instead of his accomplishments. “Instead of talking about the President’s performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative wins, what he’s been able to do for the American people across the country, we’re seeing these deep fakes, these manipulated videos, and it is again done in bad faith,” Jean-Pierre stated.

Biden’s health has been a topic of scrutiny. According to his annual physical by physician Kevin O’Connor, Biden suffers from atrial fibrillation, peripheral neuropathy in his feet, and hyperlipidemia. These conditions may contribute to his occasional instability, having tripped, tumbled, and stumbled at least five times during his presidency.

In response to these health challenges, Biden has adopted new strategies for public appearances. Axios reported in April that Biden now walks to and from Marine One with multiple aides to “draw less attention” to his physical difficulties. Additionally, he boards Air Force One using shorter steps at the rear of the aircraft instead of the taller front staircase and wears specially crafted sports shoes with his suits to aid his mobility.

Polling indicates growing concern among Americans about Biden’s ability to lead, with his age and health being significant factors.

In another horrific nightmare, a Trump supporter has been fatally shot by federal ATF agents during a raid at his home, leaving his family and friends shocked, horrified, and bewildered.

While we struggle to understand what happened to this man, who can forget the chilling episode involving 75-year-old Trump supporter Craig Robertson, shot and killed by the FBI who raided his home under the cover of darkness? Apparently, the feds prefer to invade homes when it’s dark out; that way, unsuspecting homeowners can mistake them for home invaders and create a huge, confusing, and deadly mess. . .

This latest victim’s name is Bryan Malinowski. The nightmare began with ATF warrants over alleged regulatory paperwork violations—just paperwork. This should have been a straightforward, peaceful situation handled in an office by day. Instead, a heavily-armed ATF team conducted a pre-dawn raid at Mr. Malinowski’s home, resulting in him being fatally shot in the head.
