‘Changes Our Entire Understanding’: Researchers Discover Oldest Known Deep-Sea Cargo Ship

The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) tweeted Thursday that a company found a cargo ship dating back 3,300 years deep at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.

The ship still contained “hundreds of intact jars,” the IAA said in Hebrew, while sharing a photo of two of the preserved jars.

The IAA said that the discovery overturned the belief that Late Bronze Age seafarers could not navigate their ship without sight of the shore, The Times of Israel reported.

“Only two other shipwrecks with cargo are known from the Late Bronze Age in the Mediterranean Sea … both found off the Turkish coast. Yet both of those shipwrecks were found relatively close to shore,” Jacob Sharvit, head of IAA, said, the outlet reported. . .

The ship was discovered as a result of natural gas company Energean’s standard survey of the Eastern Mediterranean floor in Israeli waters, the outlet reported. The survey discovered what appeared to be large piles of jars littering the seabed and led to the company alerting IAA about their finds, The Times of Israel reported. Biden’s Public Decline Tests Limits Of White House Spin Operation

White House communications officials have been forced to spend more and more time doing damage control as election season heats up due to President Biden’s increasing frequency of senior moments.

In the month of June, several clips, interviews and stories about the president have garnered attention for highlighting the 81-year-old’s fitness and gaffes. The White House has rushed to spin each of the incidents, most recently calling the clipped videos of the president freezing and wandering off “cheap-fakes” and a product of right-wing hucksters. . .

While the videos are the most recent example of the White House’s attempt to spin concerns about Biden’s fitness, other attempts came in the weeks prior over a Wall Street Journal article and an interview with Time Magazine.

The recent videos were clipped by various twitter accounts and media outlets as they streamed live, but the White House claimed the clips were distorted, cropped or taken out of context to misrepresent the president’s actions.

“It was a cheap — you know, a cheap fake. That was definitely a cheap fake. It was. This was widely fact-checked. That video was widely fact-checked, including by conservative media, on — on what had — what happened that — what occurred,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said about the clip of the president at the G7, which the New York Post twitter account cropped, as it appears they usually do. The Chinese Communist regime admitted on Wednesday that it used force to board Filipino ships and force them out of the Philippines’ territorial waters, an act of piracy the Chinese touted as a “police action” because the Filipinos entered an area illegally claimed by China.

The Philippine military said its forces used their “bare hands” to fend off Chinese “barbarians” and demanded China pay damages for its conduct during the incident.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) posted video and photos of the encounter on Wednesday night, showing Chinese personnel attacking their rigid-hulled inflatable boats (RHIBs) with knives, axes, and poles.

Title: Trump Leads Biden by Double Digits Among New York Independents, Poll Finds

In a surprising twist for the traditionally blue state of New York, former President Donald Trump has surged ahead of President Joe Biden among independent voters by double digits, according to the latest Siena College survey. This development underscores a shifting political landscape as the 2024 election approaches.

The Siena College survey, conducted from June 12-17, 2024, among 805 registered voters, reveals Biden struggling with a net negative approval rating. Only 42 percent of New Yorkers favor Biden, while a majority of 53 percent view him unfavorably, yielding a net negative rating of -11 percent. This marks a notable decline from May, when Biden’s net unfavorable rating was -5 percent, with 45 percent viewing him favorably against 50 percent unfavorably.

“His job approval rating fell to 45-53%, down slightly from 46-51% last month,” the Siena College report stated. Former President Trump’s favorability rating also took a hit, dropping to 37-59% from 39-56% in May.

Despite Biden leading Trump overall in New York by eight percentage points (47 percent to Trump’s 39 percent), this margin has been shrinking steadily over recent months. In May, Biden led by nine points, and in April, by ten points.

However, the most striking revelation from the survey is Trump’s substantial lead among independents. Trump holds a 17-point advantage over Biden among this crucial voter group, with 45 percent of independents supporting Trump compared to 28 percent backing Biden.

Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg noted the significance of these findings: “While Biden maintains the support of three-quarters of Democrats, Trump has support from 85% of Republicans and leads Biden 45-28 percent with independents.”

The poll also highlights a pronounced gender gap, with men favoring Trump 46-42 percent and women supporting Biden 51-33 percent. White voters are evenly split, while Biden holds a commanding lead among non-white voters. Despite this, Trump has made notable inroads, garnering support from 29 percent of Black voters and 26 percent of Latino voters.

This poll follows Trump’s recent high-profile rallies, including one in neighboring New Jersey that drew over 100,000 attendees, and another historic event in the Bronx. At the Bronx rally, enthusiastic chants of “We love Trump!” and “Four more years!” resonated, signaling potential trouble for Democrats in the upcoming election.

On Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris posted a video on X featuring the cast of Queer Eye, including Emmy Award-winning television personality Jonathan Van Ness, who likes to walk around in women’s gowns while sporting a full beard.

“Thank you for a meaningful conversation, for giving my office your stamp of approval, and for being fabulous,” the vice president said while sharing a clip of the cast visiting her in the White House.

It’s almost as if the Biden regime is openly punking the American people, as they continue to shove their troubling values down our throats at every opportunity.

The visit comes as the transgender activist who flashed his surgically implanted fake boobs on the White House lawn is being accused of sexually assaulting multiple victims. The man calls himself Rose Montoya, and he made headlines last year by exposing himself at a Pride event after taking a photo with President Biden.

No Charges in ATF Killing Over Paperwork Firearms Violation

Agents of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) suspected that Bryan Malinowski, executive director of the airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, and an avid firearms collector, was reselling enough firearms at gun shows to make him more of a commercial dealer than a hobbyist. That meant he should, in the ATF’s view, get a Federal Firearms License. So on March 19, agents did what law enforcers do when they suspect people of paperwork violations: They raided his home before dawn, taped over the doorbell camera, and shot Malinowski dead less than a minute later when he opened fire on intruders who had just busted in his front door.

Unsurprisingly, the ATF agents are on their way to evading consequences for causing a man’s death over a paperwork violation.

“A law enforcement officer is justified in using deadly physical force if the officer reasonably believes that the use of force is necessary to defend himself or a third person from the use of deadly force,” Sixth Judicial District Prosecutor Will Jones writes in his letter to ATF Special Agent Joshua Jackson absolving the agent who killed Malinowski of legal liability. “Given the totality of the circumstances, Agent 2 had a reasonable belief that deadly force was necessary to defend himself and Agent 1. Therefore, the use of deadly force by Agent 2 was in accordance with Arkansas law and was justified.”

Of course, Malinowski himself might have felt justified in using deadly force given that the front door to his family’s home had been battered down just seconds after strangers began banging on the door.

“Had he survived he was almost certainly entitled to claim self-defense in the wounding of the agent based on the reckless manner in which the government planned and executed the search,” Bud Cummins, a former U.S. Attorney who represents the Malinowski family, told me. President Trump reportedly has a very short veep list, and at the top is Senator Tim Scott—a politician who has never truly embraced the America First, Make America Great Again movement. He’s tried to ride the fence, offering occasional support here and there—he’s not downright awful, but his support always feels conditional and without any real passion or purpose. So, the question now is, did Tim Scott just disqualify himself as a possible VP with his latest appearance on ABC News? Many say yes and hope this marks the end of the tiresome “Scott hype.”

So, what happened? Well, Tim Scott is doing what he does best—being a wishy-washy establishment shill. Truthfully, being a member of the GOP swamp is all he knows, and no amount of backtracking or sidestepping now will change that. So, when Tim went on ABC News and stood by his statement that traitor and turncoat Mike Pence did the right thing by certifying a stolen 2020 election, nobody should be surprised. This is who Tim Scott is—he’s the black, male version of Nikki Haley. His alliances are with the establishment, and any act suggesting otherwise is as fake as a three-dollar bill.

Again, this shouldn’t shock anyone. Tim Scott has had some bright moments, but overall, he’s been an establishment dud since he first splashed onto the scene. We actually wrote a piece about him last year that rings truer today than ever.

President Trump has delivered his first endorsement since his political reemergence at CPAC, backing Tim Scott’s Senate reelection. Scott’s race is still nearly two years away; he isn’t expected to face a major primary challenge, and the race itself is unlikely to be close unless Republicans are having a seriously bad year.

Texas Doctor Faces Prison for Whistleblowing on Secret Child Gender Procedures

The Department of Justice is targeting a Texas whistleblower who exposed Texas Children’s Hospital secretly performing attempted gender-transition procedures on children.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas announced Monday that it had indicted 34-year-old Eithan Haim for “obtaining protected individual health information for patients that were not under his care and without authorization.”

If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 maximum possible fine.

Texas Children’s had publicly said in March 2022 that it would no longer perform attempted gender-transition procedures on kids. In May 2023, Haim provided journalist Christopher Rufo with documents showing that Texas Children’s was “lying to the public about the existence of its transgender-medicine program,” as Haim later revealed in an explosive January 2024 piece.

“I worked at the hospital as a surgery resident, and I knew that these interventions didn’t stop,” Haim wrote. “Three days after the announcement, a surgeon implanted a hormone device in a healthy 11-year-old girl for gender dysphoria. On Monday, a 23-year-old man from El Salvador who entered the country illegally was arrested for the murder and rape of Maryland’s Rachel Morin, a mother of 5, last summer.

He also allegedly found the time, during his vacation in the United States, to break into the home of and assault a 9-year-old girl and her mother.

A day later, an Ecuadorian migrant who crossed into the country illegally before authorities apprehended and then released him into the country was arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Queens.

President Biden’s response? To announce what CBS News reported was to “one of the largest immigration relief programs in recent history” for “hundreds of thousands of immigrants living in the country without proper documents” as well as “DREAMers and other undocumented immigrants.”

A Pakistani man tried to open a gay club for Pride Month. He was promptly admitted to a mental hospital. Simple as.

First off, I don’t believe anyone is gay in Pakistan. Do you see how horny they are on Facebook? No American man has ever received a “Dear Sir, send balls now” message from a Pakistani incel.

Public service announcement to all public school teachers: talk to a child about his or her gender identity, and you’ll earn a one-way ticket to the asylum.
