I’m Sure the View Regretted Inviting John Fetterman for This Interview

I’m sure the co-hosts of The View instantly regretted inviting Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) for this interview. The Pennsylvania Democrat, who has become something of a delight to watch on specific issues, told it straight: the New York hush money trial against Donald Trump was a political circus. He also lambasted fellow Democrats who, for years, touted criminal justice reform and second chances only to exhibit short-lived schadenfreude over Mr. Trump’s conviction. It was all for naught—Trump won the 2024 election handily.

The Left may have won a little battle, but we won the war. Democrats may have clinched a regular-season win, but Trump dominated in the playoffs and ultimately brought home the cup. Fetterman also thought that the Hunter Biden legal drama was politically motivated, adding that both trials should be viewed with equal disdain or skepticism. As some noted on social media, you can see Joy Behar die inside watching this clip. Joe Concha declared it “your watch of the day.”

‘You’re Disgusting:’ Radio Host Unloads on Liberal After She Accuses Pete Hegseth of Being a Rapist

Conservative radio host Ben Fergusen unloaded on a liberal activist after accusing President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, of rape and sexual abuse despite there being only hearsay with no evidence or even a name of the woman he allegedly “raped.”

Francesca Fiorentini appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” to say that although she views Hegseth as being a strong candidate to oversee the military, he is a “rapist” who doesn’t “practice consent.”

“Can I just say that I do think that Pete Hegseth actually is a good choice to oversee the U.S. military? I think they have a lot in common, like just like the U.S. military. Pete Hegseth doesn’t practice consent, you know, when raping and pillaging other people,” Fiorentini said. “And I think the U.S. military does the same thing. They rape and pillage other countries.”

Ferguson interrupted to call Fiorentini a “disgusting human being” and say that he hoped Hegseth would sue her for defamation.

Left-Wing Journalists Celebrate Murder of Health Insurance CEO Brian Thompson

Many social media users — including journalists and academics — are celebrating the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Wednesday, implying that he got what he deserved.

Anthony Zenkus, a Columbia University School of Social Work professor who works in “anti-violence” activism, took to X to sarcastically “mourn” the late healthcare executive:

“Today, we mourn the death of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, gunned down…. wait, I’m sorry — today we mourn the deaths of the 68,000 Americans who needlessly die each year so that insurance company execs like Brian Thompson can become multimillionaires,” Zenkus wrote in a post that received over 100,000 likes.

Rob DenBleyker, the co-creator of the Cyanide & Happiness comic series, wrote, “If all health insurance CEOs live in fear of being murdered maybe premiums will come down”:

Former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz has been continuously justifying Thompson’s slaying and even went so far as to post other health insurance CEOs’ names and photos on the left-leaning social media platform Bluesky.

In a Substack blog post, Lorenz explained “why ‘we’ want insurance executives dead”:

Trump World Sources: Joni Ernst Is Waging ‘Aggressive’ Personal Jihad Against Hegseth; Ernst Endorsed Transgender Military Service

By The Federalist. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, has been leading an “aggressive” personal jihad against Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump’s nominee for defense secretary, multiple sources within Trump world with direct knowledge of her outreach to Trump told The Federalist on Wednesday.

Ernst’s efforts included personal calls to Trump to urge him to dump Hegseth ahead of her meeting with the Army veteran on Wednesday afternoon. Ernst did not tell Hegseth during her meeting with him about her efforts to derail his nomination, sources told The Federalist.

“She’s waging a campaign to replace Pete with herself,” a Trump source familiar with her phone calls with Trump said.

Ernst posted a tweet on X following her meeting with Hegseth on Wednesday afternoon. The Iowa senator said she “appreciate[s] Pete Hegseth’s service to our country,” and that they “had a frank and thorough conversation.” She did not, however, say whether she will support his nomination to become defense secretary.

When pressed on Wednesday by The Hill’s Alex Bolton on whether she’s interested in becoming Trump’s defense secretary, Ernst didn’t give a direct answer, instead saying, “Pete is the nominee,” according to Punchbowl News reporter Andrew Desiderio. Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst Endorsed Transgender Military Service

By The Federalist. Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, previously endorsed allowing trans-identifying individuals to serve in the U.S. military, a position military specialists and reports have warned hampers the force’s overall readiness.

The recently unearthed revelation stems from comments the GOP senator made during an Aug. 9 interview on PBS’s “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover.” The host asked Ernst, an Army veteran, whether she agrees with Republicans’ sentiment that the military “has become too woke.”

Ernst said she doesn’t believe “those [who] serve in uniform” are woke but admitted that “there is civilian leadership of the military that is woke.” She then cited trans-identifying individuals serving in the armed forces as an example of those “in uniform,” and expressed belief that those who qualify should be permitted to serve in the military.

“We have transgender people serving in our military. They will bleed red just as the rest of us,” Ernst said.

The Iowa Republican subsequently pushed the baseless claim that a person can “transition” into the opposite sex, saying she doesn’t think the military should be “integrating transgender people into certain situations,” such as allowing “a transgender woman who has not transitioned” into female barracks. Trump-Proofing: Biden Officials Strike Deals, Spend Taxpayer Money Before Trump Can Stop It

President Biden’s breathtakingly broad pardon of his son’s criminal behavior is just one step the administration is taking to block potential action from the future president — what analysts call an attempt to “Trump-proof” government.

Mr. Biden’s allies in various departments are rushing to push cash out the door and lock in policies they think President-elect Donald Trump will not favor.

In an undercover video by Project Veritas, one Environmental Protection Agency figure said the agency had been funneling billions of dollars to climate change organizations “as fast as possible.”

“It truly feels like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge,” said the person, identified in the video as EPA special adviser Brant Efron.

A similar effort to shovel money out the door is underway at the Commerce Department. Politico, a news organization in Washington, said Secretary Gina Raimondo wants to “leave no cash for Trump” from a $50 billion microchip subsidy program. Only 6% Of Feds Work From An Office Full-Time — And Some Aren’t Working At All, Audit Finds

Only 6% of federal employees work from an office full-time, and a third are fully remote. And some aren’t actually working when they “work from home,” a Senate investigation found.

“Washington is still operating as if it’s March 2020,” Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), the chair of the Senate DOGE Caucus and the report’s author, wrote.

“Just three percent of the federal workforce teleworked daily prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, six percent of workers report in-person on a full-time basis, while nearly one-third are entirely remote,” the report states.

Government office buildings have an occupancy rate of only 12%, yet the government spends $16 billion a year to operate them. Even the head of the General Services Administration, which manages federal real estate, works from home in Missouri. Pentagon Alert: U.S. Runs Out of Missiles in a ‘Matter of Days’ in China War, Can’t Match Production

American defense industries lack the capacity to supply the missiles and other weapons needed for a war with China, and U.S. forces would lose the conflict as a result, members of Congress and private defense experts warned Thursday.

The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party recently held a simulated conflict with Beijing that revealed the U.S. military would quickly run out of bombs, missiles and other weapons within days of a war. The Pentagon has identified China as the U.S. military’s “pacing challenge.”

The growing risk of war with China over Taiwan or other flash points in the Indo-Pacific was the backdrop for Thursday’s committee hearing. Members and experts called for emergency measures to rebuild the American defense industry to avoid an armed clash with Beijing.

“Our defense industrial base lacks the capacity to deter and win a fight with the PRC,” said committee Chairman John Moolenaar, Michigan Republican, using the acronym for the People’s Republic of China.

Mr. Moolenaar said U.S. defense firms cannot innovate rapidly and supply chains for key defense components are vulnerable to China’s coercion and manipulation. He called for bold new policies and significant resources for the defense industrial base. Mentally Ill Calif. School Shooter Fired at Kids as ‘Countermeasure’ for U.S. Involvement in ‘Genocide of Palestinians’: Note

The mentally ill gunman who shot and wounded two kindergarteners at a small California school Wednesday wrote that he was deploying a “countermeasure involving child executions” in response to “America’s involvement with genocide and oppression of Palestinians,” in a twisted note he left behind.

The shooter who turned the gun on himself after opening fire in the playground of the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists was identified Thursday as Glenn Litton, a 56-year-old homeless man who was sprung from jail just two days before the shooting, according to police.

Litton, who was pronounced dead at the Oroville school, had a long history of mental health issues, alarming criminal behavior, and past stints in prison, Butte County officials said at a press conference Thursday.

Cops believe his deranged writings — in which he called himself a lieutenant of “the international alliance” — stemmed from his compromised mental state.

“Countermeasure involving child executions has now been imposed at the Seventh Day Adventist school in CA, U.S. by the international alliance,” he wrote in the disturbing note recovered by investigators. Suspect in CEO’s Murder Traveled to New York Last Month From Another Major City, Sources Reveal

The man suspected of killing the CEO of UnitedHealthcare in Manhattan on Wednesday morning arrived in New York City last month via a Greyhound bus from Atlanta, law enforcement sources told Fox News.

The shooter boarded a bus in Atlanta the day before Thanksgiving, sources within the New York Police Department said.

Brian Thompson was gunned down by the suspect before 7 a.m. Wednesday outside of the Hilton in Midtown Manhattan.

“We are fully cooperating with authorities on this active investigation. As it is ongoing, we cannot provide further comment at this time,” a Greyhound spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

Police sources told Fox News the suspect dropped a burner phone in an alley after the shooting. Police are looking into data that was on the phone, as well as fingerprints that were left on the device, sources say. ‘The View’ Co-Host Calls Biden a Liar — And Whoopi Goldberg Freaks Out

President Biden and his administration consistently denied that he would pardon his son Hunter, but Biden has now done exactly that.

And of course, liberals are defending his decision to do so.

“I respect it as a parent. I understand why he would do it, but I wanted to understand why [he lied] about it for so long,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said in a segment on “The View.”

“I’d stop calling it a lie,” Whoopi Goldberg shot back, defensive.

“For the part of this country, half of it that doesn’t support Biden, doesn’t know him personally,” Griffin continued, ignoring Goldberg’s comment. “They’re just looking at a system that seems like it only benefits the people who are in power. What precedent does that set?”
