Northern US To Experience Snow, Ice As Back-To-Back Storms Forecast To Move Through Region
A clipper system is set to sweep through New England early this week, delivering another dose of snow to northern regions of the United States already burdened by a snowy winter so far.
According to the FOX Forecast Center, light snow is anticipated throughout the Northeast, including areas such as upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire prior to shifting into Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
This latest snowfall arrives as the Northeast continues to grapple with an abundance of winter weather this season. Notably, regions right outside New York City, including Mamaroneck, New York, have already seen light snow.
Buffalo, New York picked up around five inches of snow Sunday, coinciding with the Bills’ final regular-season game at Highmark Stadium before the venue’s closure.
Isolated snow showers may pop up Monday across New York City and Long Island, though no major disruptions are anticipated. (Read more from “Northern US To Experience Snow, Ice As Back-To-Back Storms Forecast To Move Through Region” HERE)
