Band Frontman Comes Out Gay After 14 Years Of Marriage. Wife Responds

The frontman for the rock band Beartooth came out as gay on May 23, despite having been married to a woman for 14 years.

Caleb Shomo, the band’s lead singer, wrote in a post on Instagram that he felt “embarrassed” he avoided the truth for so long and “spent a decade burying feelings with alcohol.”

“There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding my personal life as of late and I feel compelled to set the record straight before it affects those I love any further,” Shomo wrote. “I am a proudly gay man. This is something I’ve been unpacking and reckoning with in my life for quite some time now.”

The rockstar’s wife, Fleur Shomo, responded to her husband’s revelation in her own post on Instagram, according to USA Today. “The past few months have been a very disorientating and hurtful time to navigate,” she reportedly posted. “For both of us. But I will always want to love, protect and support Caleb. I have cared more about his well being over the years than anything else in the world.”

Trump: Iran’s Enriched Uranium to Be ‘Immediately Turned’ Over to U.S. or Destroyed in Iran

President Donald Trump explained in a Truth Social post on Monday that Iran’s enriched uranium would either be “immediately turned over” to the United States or would be destroyed “in place” in Iran.

In the post, Trump said that if the enriched uranium was not turned over to the U.S. to be “destroyed,” it would be “destroyed in place” in Iran or at another location.

“The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event,” Trump said.

Trump’s post comes after a New York Times report on Saturday said that “two U.S. officials” revealed that Iran had “committed in broad terms to surrendering the near-weapons-grade uranium stockpile,” Breitbart News’s Joshua Klein reported:

In a report published late Saturday evening, the New York Times cited two U.S. officials as saying Tehran committed in broad terms to surrendering the near-weapons-grade uranium stockpile — one of the central demands of the Trump administration’s campaign against the Iranian regime and a potentially significant breakthrough after Iranian officials had consistently sought to separate the uranium issue from the initial ceasefire framework and defer it to later negotiations.

PHOTO: Remains of 17-Year-Old Sailor Killed at Pearl Harbor Will Be Buried with Honors in Hometown

A 17-year-old U.S. Navy sailor killed when enemy Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor during World War II will finally be laid to rest in his hometown.

Fireman 3rd Class Royle Luker will be buried Saturday in his hometown of Plainview, Arkansas, where he grew up before enlisting in June 1941, Stars and Stripes reported Thursday.

The article said forensic methods at the time did not allow officials to identify his remains, thus he was buried in a grave marked “unknown.”

Luker, who was the son of a World War I veteran, will be buried with full military honors at New Bethel Cemetery, and his remains are being returned home more than 84 years after his death, per Fox News. The outlet noted that modern forensic testing and DNA analysis confirmed his identity through living relatives.

Luker was aboard the USS West Virginia during the attack that killed 105 of its crew members on December 7, 1941. The vessel was hit by several torpedoes and sank at Ford Island, the Stripes article continued, citing a press release from the Navy. Gonorrhea and Syphilis Skyrocket in Europe — and this Country has the Highest Spike

Europe is dealing with a full-blown sexual health crisis as cases of gonorrhea and syphilis skyrocket to unprecedented levels, shocking new data show.

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) revealed the continent is in the grips of a dirty STI explosion not seen in over a decade.

Gonorrhea cases across Europe hiked a staggering 303% since 2015, clocking in at 106,331 painful infections, while syphilis cases more than doubled over the same period, topping more than 45,550 cases.

Spain ranks as Europe’s hotspot, racking up 37,169 gonorrhea cases and 11,556 syphilis infections in 2024, according to the BBC.

Meanwhile, congenital syphilis — where the dangerous infection passes directly from pregnant mothers to their newborns — nearly doubled in participating European countries between 2023 and 2024.

Health officials are blaming “widening gaps” in testing and lack of condom use for the nasty surge. (Read more from “Gonorrhea and Syphilis Skyrocket in Europe — and this Country has the Highest Spike” HERE)

Biological Man Wins Two Girls Jumping Events, Qualifies For State Championship For Second Year In A Row

A biological male has clinched a return to California’s girls state track championship for the second straight year, winning two jumping events at the postseason meet that decides who advances.

AB Hernandez, a senior at Jurupa Valley High School, captured the long jump at 19 feet, 3.5 inches and the triple jump at 40 feet, 4.75 inches Saturday at the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Masters meet in Moorpark, Sports Illustrated reported. Hernandez also tied for fourth in the high jump at 5 feet, 4 inches. All three results landed inside the qualifying window and sent Hernandez to the state final.

The CIF revived a rule from last spring that awards second-place girls a gold medal and a place on the top step beside a transgender competitor who finishes ahead of them, according to MyNewsLA. Any athlete who places among the top six in an event earns a spot at the state meet, scheduled for May 29 and 30 in Clovis.

The qualification stretches the story into a second year, Fox News reported. Crean Lutheran senior Reese Hogan, a frequent rival and a high jump favorite, missed the cut in that event and buried her face against her father after her last attempt. White House: Iran Gets Nothing Unless It Gets Rid Of Its Nuclear Stockpile

The Trump administration’s negotiations with Iran do not include any pathway for the country to obtain a nuclear weapon, nor will any potential deal give Iran “billions of dollars” in no-strings-attached handouts, a senior administration official said Sunday, despite some Republican warmongers claiming otherwise.

The senior official said that there will be zero resources to Iranians unless and until they give up highly enriched uranium, stating, “no dust, no dollars.”

When reports about a deal with the Iranians came out last week, some hardline Republicans like Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who appear uninterested in seeing an end to the conflict, quickly took to social media to countersignal the deal.

“I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran ‘deal,’ being pushed by some voices in the administration,” Cruz said. “If the result of all that [military action] is to be an Iranian regime — still run by Islamists who chant ‘death to America’ — now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake.”

“If a deal is struck to end the Iranian conflict because it is believed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be protected from Iranian terrorism and Iran still possesses the capability to destroy major Gulf oil infrastructure, then Iran will be perceived as being a dominate [sic] force requiring a diplomatic solution,” Graham said. “This combination of Iran being perceived as having the ability to terrorize the Strait in perpetuity and the ability [to] inflict massive damage to Gulf oil infrastructure is a major shift of the balance of power in the region and over time will be a nightmare for Israel.” (Read more from “White House: Iran Gets Nothing Unless It Gets Rid Of Its Nuclear Stockpile” HERE)

Iran Agreed to Surrender Enriched Uranium, End Nuclear Ambitions in Tentative Deal with Trump: Reports

Multiple reports have indicated that U.S. negotiators believe that Iran has committed to giving up its nuclear ambitions and its highly enriched uranium as a part of a broader peace deal with President Donald Trump.

On Saturday afternoon, President Trump announced that an “agreement has been largely negotiated” between Washington and Tehran. However, Mr Trump said that the final details of the deal were still being discussed and would not be made public at the time.

According to a report from the New York Times, citing “two U.S. officials”, the Islamist regime in Iran verbally agreed to U.S. negotiators that it would give up its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

Although exactly how the nuclear material would be removed from the country remains unclear, such an agreement would fulfil a longstanding and major aim of the White House.

While the Islamist regime has yeet to confirm any details and has a spotty track record of following through on its commitments, an agreement would also likely shore up support from Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill, some of whom have expressed scepticism about coming to any agreement with the Mullahs. White House Secured Following Reports Of Multiple Gunshots Outdoors

U.S. Secret Service agents scrambled to secure the White House after at least 20 gunshots were heard Saturday evening when a suspect was fatally shot after firing at a security booth outside the campus.

The gunfire took place at an intersection to the immediate west of the campus with the gunman and a civilian down, according to Fox News reporter Chad Pergram.

“Shortly after 6:00 p.m. Saturday, an individual approached a Secret Service checkpoint in the area of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW,” Pergram posted, citing the Secret Service. “A preliminary investigation indicates that as the individual approached, he removed a weapon from his bag and began firing at posted officers. Secret Service police officers returned fire, striking the suspect, who was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.”

The suspect, later identified as Nasire Best, 21, had a history of mental health issues and violated a court order to stay away from the White House after previous encounters with the Secret Service, the New York Post reported. Best notably believed he was Jesus Christ, according to the outlet.

Reporters were rushed into the White House Press Briefing Room, NBC reporter Julie Tsirkin posted on X. ABC News reporter Selina Wang posted video showing her diving to the ground at the apparent sound of the gunshots, and said she’d been moved to the White House press briefing room by the Secret Service. Trump Administration Reads In Conservative Podcasters On State Of Iran Negotiations

The White House briefed multiple conservative media figures on negotiations with Iran over a potential peace deal which could end the nearly three-month-long armed conflict.

Multiple conservative media figures, including Salem Radio Network host Scott Jennings, Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, Daily Caller Editorial Director Vince Coglianese, and Turning Point USA’s Andrew Kolvet took to X to defend President Donald Trump’s efforts following a briefing with a “senior administration official.” Coglianese outlined what the unidentified official told them about progress in the talks, saying there had been one marked shift in the Iranians’ tone, using the phrase “NO DUST, NO DOLLARS” as the “topline.”

The senior administration official told Coglianese and others the Iranians were “clearly talking details about getting rid of the enriched stockpile in a way they never have before” and had agreed to end further uranium enrichment.

“They have acknowledged that is something they’re going to have to give on,” the official added.

“Iran doesn’t get a dime unless they actually produce real results,” Coglianese posted, adding, “The Trump administration believes it is now just days away from a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian regime. It won’t be signed today or tomorrow, the official says, but that’s primarily because communication with Iranian leadership moves very slowly.” (Read more from “Trump Administration Reads In Conservative Podcasters On State Of Iran Negotiations” HERE)
