Trump-Appointed Federal Judge Criminally Charged after Confrontation over Parking Saw Him ‘Stomp’ on Man’s Glasses

A Trump-appointed federal judge in Idaho is facing criminal charges after a heated confrontation over parking which saw him snatch a man’s glasses from his face and stomp on them, according to reports.

Judge Ryan D. Nelson, who sits on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, is facing one misdemeanor count of battery and one of malicious injury to property for allegedly knocking another man’s glasses off his head and throwing them across the parking lot during the incident, The Idaho State Journal reported.

The confrontation occurred in early April when a driver pulled into a parking space and allegedly verbally criticized the judge’s parking twice, the unnamed man told the Idaho State Journal.

“That’s when [Nelson] went crazy,” the man told the newspaper. After the verbal spat, Nelson allegedly took the man’s glasses, threw them across the parking lot and stomped on them.

Thomas Matthew Crooks Emailed Butler County Sheriff’s Office Prior to Trump Assassination Attempt: Report

Newly released federal records indicate that a deputy with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office exchanged two emails with would-be Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks prior to the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The records were obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI and were released on Friday. According to Judicial Watch, the FBI produced 48 heavily redacted pages related to its investigation into the shooting.

Among the documents was an interview summary involving a Butler County Sheriff’s deputy who told investigators she had exchanged two emails with Crooks before the attack. The contents of the emails remain unknown, as relevant portions were redacted. The deputy also told investigators that she did not have any personal interaction with Crooks.

“[Redacted] advised she [redacted] Thomas Crooks (CROOKS) in the [redacted] was an [redacted] therefore [redacted] with CROOKS. [Redacted] advised she did not recognize CROOKS when everything was on the news over the weekend but on Sunday night, a New York Times reporter emailed her asking questions,” reads the heavily redacted FBI communications titled “Disc of 5 Deputies of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office that were conducted on 07/16/2024.”

Disgraced Cryto Founder Asks Trump For Pardon

Incarcerated cryptocurrency founder Sam Bankman-Fried is formally seeking a pardon from President Donald J. Trump, according to the U.S. Justice Department (DOJ) website.

Bankman-Fried’s request for “Pardon after Completion of sentence” was submitted in 2026 and is currently pending, the DOJ Office of the Pardon Attorney website reads. He’s currently serving a 25-year sentence on seven charges of fraud, conspiracy and money laundering related to his now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX, according to the DOJ. Trump said in January this year that he would not pardon the former crypto CEO.

Bankman-Fried was convicted of orchestrating a colossal fraud scheme via his company FTX as well as his trading firm Alameda Research rooted in the misuse of what amounted to billions of dollars, officials said.

The former cypto CEO made it clear that he wanted a pardon Monday when speaking to Fox Business. “Absolutely,” he said when asked. “It would be obviously, you know, ultimately up to the president, not up to me.”

Since President Trump took office in January 2025 for his second term, he has issued over 1,400 pardons, CNBC reported. Trump told The New York Times in an expansive January interview that he will not pardon Bankman-Fried along with several other figures, including deposed Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. James Talarico Calls Biden’s Border ‘Utter Chaos’ In Attempted Immigration Rebrand

Democratic Texas Senate nominee James Talarico slammed former President Joe Biden’s border policies in an apparent immigration rebrand during a podcast episode released Monday.

Talarico is currently running for U.S. Senate in Texas and while running for the Democratic nomination in January he said there should be a “welcome mat” at the border. However, months later he framed himself as a “border security Democrat” during his appearance on the “Cogdell Law Uncensored” podcast.

“I called out Joe Biden for failing to secure our southern border and I got a lot of heat in my own party for doing that. But I remember talking with my colleagues in the legislature who represent border communities and they told me about the utter chaos caused by President Biden’s policies and the Democratic Party,” Talarico told the Podcast’s host, attorney Dan Cogdell.

“And so, I’m a border security Democrat,” Talarico added.

This comes after Talarico said, ” Our southern border should be like our front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front,” in a Jan. 24 primary debate against Democrat Jasmine Crockett, who he defeated in March. NBC Reporter’s Six-Word Claim about California Elections that Caused Trump to Storm Off

An NBC News reporter’s comments about California’s elections and the 2020 presidential race caused President Trump to storm out of their interview Sunday.

Kristen Welker sparred with the commander-in-chief over his claims the state’s voting was rigged as the counting continues and Democrat candidates suddenly enjoy a late stream of votes from mail-in ballots.

“That’s how they vote in California,” Welker replied after Trump pointed to the state’s still-unfinished ballot count as proof that something nefarious was happening.

The tense moment came during an interview on “Meet the Press,” when the president revived his longstanding allegations about election integrity while discussing California’s primaries.

The exchange became increasingly heated before Trump accused the network of bias and cut the interview short.

By New York Post. President Trump said Israel’s prime minister would be forced to play ball with Iran after the Islamic Republic launched a missile attack on the Jewish State Sunday — and insisted that he is still the one who “calls the shots.”

Iran fired at least 10 missiles at Israel on Sunday, hours after the Israeli Defense Forces launched its own attack on a Hezbollah command center in Beirut.

Trump told the Financial Times that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to accept any ceasefire deal that the US brokers because he “doesn’t call the shots.”

“[Netanyahu] won’t have any choice. I call the shots. I call all the shots. He doesn’t call the shots,” Trump said.

Trump assured that Sunday’s shake-up, which effectively terminated a delicate ceasefire Israel and Lebanon agreed to just last week, will not have “any impact” on US-Iran negotiations. Report: Trump Moves to Rein in Benjamin Netanyahu After Israel Strikes Beirut Following Hezbollah Missile Attack

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump is reportedly moving to rein in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following Israel launching a strike at Lebanon after Hezbollah struck northern Israel.

In a post on X, Barak Ravid, a global affairs correspondent for Axios, shared that Trump told him he was “going to call Netanyahu” and tell Netanyahu “not to strike back.”

Trump’s comments to Ravid come after Iran retaliated with a missile strike on Israel after Israel struck Beirut in response to an attack from Hezbollah, according to Axios.

Axios reported that Israel Defense Forces (IDF) “said sirens sounded in northern Israel as four missiles were launched from Iran”:

Iranian state media reported a third wave of missiles had been launched, but Israeli officials said all had so far been intercepted.

President Trump told Axios he would call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and urge him not to retaliate for Iran’s missile attack.

An IDF spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin, stated that the IDF “was working on military plans and will continue striking Hezbollah targets in Beirut.”

Americans Travel to Pakistan to Free Christians Trapped in Modern-Day Slavery: ‘God’s Hand as in it’

Idaho resident Aaron Hutchings arrived at a Pakistani brick factory in January. The devout Christian told Fox News Digital that he was shocked to see children turning bricks under the hot sun to work off the debts that their families had incurred, sometimes over the course of generations.

Within hours of his arrival, Hutchings paid off the debts for two enslaved Christian families and escorted them to freedom, breaking the “curse that they’ve had for hundreds of years.”

There are up to one million Christians working in slave and bonded labor in Pakistan, according to Emma Hall, a persecution researcher working with charity Open Doors U.K. and Ireland, told Fox News Digital. This could comprise as much as 30% of Pakistani Christians, counted at 3.3 million in the 2023 census and accounting for 1.37 percent of the population.

Hall noted that “extreme poverty drives desperate families to accept advance loans (peshgri) for emergency and basic needs, trapping them in cycles of debt bondage where repayment systems are structured in ways that make exit extremely difficult.”

Emmanuel Hernandez said he was shocked when he first heard that Christians in Pakistan were living in debt-based enslavement in Pakistan’s brick-making industry. After traveling to Pakistan to meet the woman who would later become his wife, Hernandez witnessed bonded laborers at a brick factory for the first time. 7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Part of Southern Philippines — Tsunami Possible for Some Coasts

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook part of the southern Philippines early Monday, and a tsunami was possible on some regional coasts.

Power outages were reported and people were urged to go to higher ground. No further information on damage or casualties was immediately available.

The epicenter was 13 kilometers (8 miles) southwest of General Santos city on the island of Mindanao and had a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. It struck at 7:37 a.m.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said tsunami waves up to 3 meters (10 feet) were possible on some coasts of the Philippines. Waves up to 1 meter (3 feet) were possible on some coasts of Indonesia and Malaysia.

Poll: Vice President JD Vance and Kamala Harris Dominate Potential 2028 Candidates

A recent poll showed Vice President JD Vance (R) and former Vice President Kamala Harris (D) dominating within their own parties among potential 2028 candidates.

The recent 2028 presidential poll showed Harris at 37 percent and Vance at 38 percent, according to Political Polls:

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was just under Vance with 18 percent and President Donald Trump’s son, Don Jr., polled at 10 percent.

Rubio recently said he would be the first to support Vance if he ran for president in 2028, and it is unlikely Don Jr. will run. Therefore, if one were to add Rubio’s and Don Jr.’s numbers to Vance’s percentage — since those two are likely to support Vance from the get-go — it would show Vance starting with a dominant majority of Republicans at 66 percent with the total of those three combined.

President Donald Trump this week commented on a potential 2028 Republican presidential ticket of Vance and Rubio, stating, “So I watch them together. They get along great. They have a good relationship. They’re sort of similar in a lot of ways, but they’re very talented. Target Recalls Baby Wipes Due to Potential Microbial Contamination

Target is voluntarily recalling popular baby wipes that are sold nationwide and online, due to concerns of potential microbial contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Friday.

Target issued a recall of Up & Up Fragrance Free and Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes after complaints from customers about product discoloration and after the FDA tested the products and found Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli.

“Use of products contaminated with Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioi may result in serious and life-threatening infections. The products are predominantly used on newborns, infants, and young children, who are particularly vulnerable to opportunistic infection due to their immature immune systems,” the FDA said in its announcement.

“In healthy individuals, use of the product on skin with minor lesions will more likely result in local infections, whereas in immunocompromised individuals, newborns, infants and young children, the infection is more likely to spread into the bloodstream, potentially leading to life-threatening sepsis or pneumonia,” the agency continued.
