The Senate Race In Alaska Is What A Rigged Election Looks Like

If you want to know what a “rigged” election looks like, look no further than the U.S. Senate primary race still underway in Alaska. As of this writing, the Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan trails Mary Peltola, a Democrat and former member of the House, by about 5 points.

Some 30,000 votes are still uncounted, but it won’t change the fundamentals going into the November general election thanks to Alaska’s insane and fraudulent ranked-choice voting regime. In Alaska, the primary purpose of ranked-choice voting (or RCV) is to prevent conservative Republicans from winning statewide office and to keep Sen. Lisa Murkowski in Washington.

Full disclosure: I grew up in Alaska and live there now, and while I’m immensely proud to be from this great state and great land in the majestic northern marches of America, our voting system here is an embarrassment. . .

In this election cycle it has produced not just embarrassment but straightforward rigging in the form of the “Decoy Dan” spectacle. Daniel J. Sullivan, a retired teacher who has never before run for office and was not a registered Republican until two days before filing his candidate declaration, managed to get on the primary ballot and capture 2.4 percent of the vote, coming in third and guaranteeing him a place on the ballot in the general election.

Decoy Dan is a fraudster propped up by Democrat Party operatives and support. As The New York Times just reported, veteran Democrat consultant Amber Lee has been assisting the fake Sullivan in his bid to trick Alaskan voters into voting for the wrong candidate. Make no mistake, the entire purpose of this man’s candidacy is to siphon votes away from Sen. Sullivan by confusing voters. He even initially tried to register with the Alaska Division of Elections as “Dan S. Sullivan,” adopting the incumbent’s middle initial so that the two names would appear identical on the ballot. He then created a website that was markedly similar (in format, color scheme, etc.) to Sen. Sullivan’s reelection site. Americans Warned of Kidnapping, Extortion as Violent Crime Grips Parts of Tourist Spot

The State Department is warning Americans to steer clear of parts of a South American country as violent crime, terrorism and kidnapping raise safety concerns among tourists.

The State Department this week issued a Level 2 “Exercise Increased Caution” advisory for the nation of Ecuador.

In the advisory, officials warned of widespread crime across Ecuador, including murders, assaults, kidnappings and armed robberies linked to drug trafficking.

“Areas with transnational criminal organizations have much higher rates of violent crime,” officials said. “U.S. citizens and U.S. lawful permanent residents have been victims of kidnapping and extortion.”

The country sits between Colombia to the north and Peru to the south, along South America’s Pacific coast.Ecuador is sought by many tourists for its dramatic Andean landscapes, historic cities and the Galápagos Islands.

Americans make up Ecuador’s largest group of foreign visitors, accounting for roughly a third of international arrivals in 2025, according to Ecuador’s National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC). Abdul El-Sayed asks Fox News Host ‘Are you circumcised?’ in Bizarre Moment as He Defends Sex Change Surgery for Minors

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed got extremely personal with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday — asking if he is circumcised — during a bizarre defense of sex change surgery for minors.

“Do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised?” El-Sayed bluntly asked the “Jesse Watters Primetime” host, after arguing that the government shouldn’t get involved in transgender medical procedures for children.

Watters was floored by the question.

“Jesse, are you?” El-Sayed pressed.

“Yeah, yeah, but I mean, that’s a personal question — doctor,” Watters responded.

A clue about your risk for dementia may be in the palm of your hand. . .

But a quick and simple screening tool may give people a better idea of the state of their cognitive functioning — and you can do it at home without any equipment.

While dementia is often associated with memory loss, confusion and trouble focusing, it can also impair motor skills, making everyday tasks more difficult.

To check how well the frontal lobe is working, neurologist Dr. Adnan Husein shared a social media video demonstrating “the quickest test for dementia,” which involves three simple hand motions.

Known as the Luria Test or Fist-Edge-Palm Test, patients are tasked with making three gestures with their hands.

First, they make a fist with one hand, placing it in the palm of the second hand. They then open the hand, placing the pinky side down on their opposite palm, like a karate chop.

Supreme Court Rules in Trump’s Favor on Mail Ballot Rules

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of President Trump’s executive order increasing election integrity relating to mail ballots on Monday, saying states suing over the order did so improperly.

Today’s ruling is not the final action but comes as some states begin sending ballots to voters in early September. The opinion was issued in an unsigned order with the three liberal justices dissenting.

In March, President Trump signed the executive order in question directing the Department of Homeland Security to verify citizenship in each state. The order also directed the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to initiate rulemaking to ensure only verified, eligible voters would receive ballots.

23-year-old Aviator Pulls off Miraculous Water Landing after Engine Quit

A young Florida pilot was able to swim away from a dramatic water landing in the Atlantic Ocean off Boca Raton on Saturday in a video captured by a beachgoer.

Faith Tenkley, 23, who has been a pilot for four years, maneuvered her family’s twin-engine Piper around buildings as she approached the coast and avoided paddleboarders before finding an open stretch of water next to the beach, she told Gulf Coast News. The plane made a smooth water landing at about 9:40 a.m. local time.

A lifeguard reached Tenkley within about a minute after the plane went down near 250 South Ocean Blvd., followed closely by a Boca Raton Ocean Rescue fire boat, according to local authorities.

Video captured the dramatic moments of the water landing, the quick rescue and the aftermath of a shaken Tenkley sitting on the beach, looking out to the sinking plane fully intact.

Tenkley, who Fox News Digital has reached out to for comment, has declined media interviews outside of Gulf Coast News’ Peter Busch. He reported she wanted to clear up misinformation that it was a male pilot rescued by a female surfer instead of vice versa. Data Center Backlash Brings Thousands Of Projects To A Screeching Halt

Americans’ growing opposition to the prevalence of data centers has led many politicians to limit or pause their increase altogether.

Lawmakers in New York and Texas, for example, have effected stoppages of data center projects, while other states, such as Pennsylvania, have issued more restrictions on data center construction. Americans’ support for data centers has generally plummeted, as critics have linked them to higher utility bills — reflecting extraordinary water and energy usage — being experienced by local communities.

Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott issued a sprawling data center moratorium in early August as residents soured on data centers. Abbott claimed his moratorium would protect Texans.

“My directive has halted up to 1,800 data center projects. I established guidelines & guardrails to protect Texas communities,” he wrote in a Wednesday post to social media, adding that data centers must not take water from communities, tax the Texas energy grid, or otherwise disrupt communities.

Abbott’s moratorium drew a range of responses from the private and public sectors.

“What Governor Abbott is doing is working. The Governor established clear guidelines: Data centers must invest their own money, provide their own power, reuse their own water, ensure that the power grid is gaining power— not losing power because of their operations — and must not disturb neighborhoods,” Andrew Mahaleris, Abbott’s press secretary, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement. “Data centers across the state have announced their full compliance with those standards, which provide guardrails that protect our communities.” (Read more from “Data Center Backlash Brings Thousands Of Projects To A Screeching Halt” HERE)

Pentagon Makes Major Move Against Military News Outlet

The Pentagon fired three key figures at a prominent military news outlet following a dispute over how it handled providing “independent news” to readers.

The U.S. Department of War (DOW) fired Stars and Stripes editor-in-chief Erik Slavin and Middle East reporter Lara Korte on Friday, The Associated Press (AP) reported. In addition, publisher Max Lederer, who announced his retirement Tuesday, was also dismissed. The firings came after each of them reportedly expressed opposition to letting the Pentagon — which partially funds it — influence what the outlet covers.

While the DOW declined to comment, a Pentagon official confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation that “the separation notices are real.”

“Today, I was informed that the Department of Defense is firing me for insubordination after I told a CBS reporter that I work for Stars and Stripes – not the Pentagon, not any administration, and not any policy maker,” Korte said in an X post Friday.

She and Slavin had previously spoken out against the idea of the Pentagon interfering with the outlet’s coverage during a “CBS Sunday Morning” interview in July.

“We need to be able to provide independent news to service members. Iran’s supreme leader is under mounting pressure over the war — as the regime’s grip on the Strait of Hormuz weakens, cash finally starts to get tight and top political leaders publicly urge the Islamists in charge to find a way out of the conflict.

The latest phase of the conflict has seen more and more ships quietly slipping through Hormuz, with nearly 200 vessel sailing through the strait last week, according to data from the UK Maritime Trade Operations Center.

The flow represents a 400% spike in the last two weeks, with maritime analysts Kpler noting that the traffic finding safe passage — aided by US Navy escorts — effectively means Iran has lost partial control of the strait.

And while more ships and oil are getting out, Iran’s own oil exports have dropped to near zero, under the renewed American blockade on its ports and President Trump’s “economic D-Day” measures.

There has been little to no activity seen at Iran’s Kharg Island oil hub, according to recent satellite images, leaving Iran with few options to offset its already ailing economy hit by historically high inflation and unemployment. Lindsay Clancy’s Sick Fans are Just Normalizing the Horror of a Mother Killing her Three Children

The bizarre fandom around Lindsay Clancy is the latest example of a moral rot infecting a small cohort of conspiracy-minded, self-engrossed women.

In a clear case of female empathy gone awry, they have transformed a Massachusetts nurse who strangled her three babies into the sole victim in this tragedy, while demonizing their poor father, Patrick.

The murdered children, Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months, barely get a mention in the outpouring of support for Lindsay, who has become a vehicle for the “TikTok Moms’ ” own fake victimhood.

Lindsay has pleaded not guilty to the 2023 murder of her children who she methodically strangled, one by one, with exercise bands after sending Patrick out to pick up dinner and medications. She does not dispute that she killed the children but claims she was “suffering from psychosis at the time.”

The prosecution contends she “acted intentionally, rationally, and swiftly to accomplish a very specific goal — to kill . . . She knew exactly what she was doing.”

The five-week trial has been televised to an increasingly obsessive audience of true crime nuts, assorted snoops and a disturbing number of women who have taken to filming themselves holding babies and whining about how hard it is to be a mom.
