Misogynistic influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been forced to admit the embarrassing truth that their flashy displays of opulence including a $50 million superyacht were faked for online clout.

Lawyers for the infamous brothers, who are in federal custody in Miami battling extradition to the UK on rape and sex-trafficking charges, said the pair’s social-media flexing was “theatrical” and a cheap con to burnish their image as ultra-wealthy playboys.

The duo’s videos often feature a $2.1 million Aston Martin and a pair of Bugatti sportscars worth a combined $12 million — but all three cars were “rented” props, their legal team said.

The $50 million superyacht they show off also “does not belong to the Tates,” the documents state, explaining they “received payment to promote the ship on social media.”

The shocking disclosures were only made to deny that the brothers are so wealthy they pose a flight risk if freed.

Their legal team conceded in a 28-page petition supporting the Tates’ motion for release that their wildly influential posts shouldn’t be taken seriously because they are “obvious satire, hyperbole and promotion” trying to trick followers for a payday. While adequate rest is undoubtedly an important component of human health, how much sleep we need isn’t the same for everyone.

A new review from Brain Medicine challenges the notion that all adults require eight hours of sleep a night to be healthy.

“Human sleep patterns in pre-industrial societies exhibit substantial flexibility, suggesting that contemporary norms of consolidated nocturnal sleep are not evolutionarily fixed,” according to the authors. . .

Long before the implementation of the 40-hour workweek, the invention of alarm clocks and the use of cellphones, people relied on a more natural sleep cycle — one that often didn’t amount to eight hours a night.

Per the Conversation, researchers have studied hunter-gatherer communities — whose lifestyles share more similarities with those of our ancestors and who have limited or no exposure to artificial light — to better understand natural sleep duration in humans. Alex Pretti’s Parents, Sister Interviewed Seven Months After His Fatal Shooting

Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the parents of Alex Pretti, who was shot and killed on Jan. 24 in Minneapolis, Michael and Susan Pretti along with his sister, Micayla Pretti spoke with George Stephanopoulos.

Stephanopoulos said, “My first question is, it has been seven months, why do you want to speak now?”

Michael Pretti said, “We really want to get the facts out of what happened to Alex that day. I mean, we’ve seen what happened. The videos are pretty clear, but we want justice and accountability for the people that did this to Alex.”

He continued, “He was a good man. He’s a good kid. He cared deeply about his community. Minneapolis was his community. He wanted people to be treated fairly, no matter what walk of life, what their background was.”

Stephanopoulos said, “What did he tell you about why he was protesting?”

Michael Pretti said, “He wasn’t really protesting. I mean, and that’s one thing we want to be clear. The day he was murdered, he was not at a protest. He was an observer and that’s why he had his phone.”

Dolly Parton’s Cause of Death Revealed as it’s Confirmed She was Secretly Battling Cancer

Dolly Parton’s cause of death has been revealed as she was secretly battling cancer before her death at age 80.

“After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones,” her reps confirmed in a statement to Page Six Tuesday, though they didn’t elaborate on what kind of cancer she was battling.

“Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched,” they also shared. “Her unmatched generosity reached the lives of countless people whom she would never meet, yet she was always there to offer a helping hand.”

They concluded, “Whether it be the hundreds of millions of books donated through her invaluable Imagination Library or funding research that helped create a lifesaving vaccine used around the world, Dolly’s unconditional love for all people was the guiding force for her lasting impact.”

Resident Takes Alleged Intruder’s Gun, Kills Him with It

A resident in Fremont, California, managed to take a gun away from an alleged intruder shortly after noon Friday and shoot him with it.

ABC 7 reported that two allegedly armed teenagers forced their way into the apartment and a confrontation ensued. An altercation followed, during which one of the residents was able to take a gun from one of the suspects.

The resident then shot the suspect and that suspect later died in a hospital.

NBC Bay Area noted that the second suspect fled the scene but was soon apprehended. He was placed in juvenile hall on a matter related to “residential burglary and felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm.” (Read more from “Resident Takes Alleged Intruder’s Gun, Kills Him with It” HERE)

U.S. Set for Largest Mass Visa Revocation in History Targeting Up to 200,000 Foreigners, Officials Say

The Trump administration is preparing to revoke the business and tourism visas of up to 200,000 foreigners who have applied for or are currently seeking asylum status in the United States. If it happens, the move would be the largest single mass revocation of visas in U.S. history and would likely face legal challenges.

Unless challenged or revised, the State Department is expected to announce in the coming weeks the revocation of so-called B1 and B2 visas issued between 2016 and 2026 whose holders have sought asylum or are now seeking asylum, according to State Department documents obtained by The Associated Press and two U.S. officials. The action will be taken in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security.

“We are coordinating with DHS to identify and revoke the nonimmigrant visas of foreigners who have come to the United States claiming to be short-term visitors, but then file for asylum to stay here permanently,” said State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott.

Trump, 80, raged against Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie Taylor Greene in a late Friday night rant, weeks after they met up and teased that a “movement” was brewing.

“Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight “Former” Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie “Traitor” Greene, LOSERS ALL!” Trump’s nearly 300-word diatribe began.

It was not immediately clear which meeting the president was referring to. On Aug. 1, Greene posted an image on X showing her smiling alongside Carlson, who was seated at the head of the table, as well as Massie and former counterterrorism official Joe Kent.

“We said no more foreign wars, and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,” Greene wrote at the time. “Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center. The movement has begun.”

Trump Faces Fierce Backlash From Rep. Thomas Massie and Cattle Ranchers for Temporarily Lift on Beef Tariffs

Under the ninety-day emergency measure, the United States will permit up to three hundred thousand metric tons of ground beef into the country tariff-free, based on commitments that the imported meat will be sold at twenty-five percent below current market rates. . .

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association expressed deep disappointment with the decision, arguing that injecting below-market beef directly threatens the financial stability of domestic producers. Colin Woodall, CEO of the organization, publicly urged the federal government to stay out of the cattle business and let ranchers manage their herds and resources independently. . .

Justin Tupper, president of the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association, released a sharp critique of the measure, asserting that trade policies should not place domestic cattle producers last in order to lower market prices. He warned that flooding the market with foreign beef will weaken cattle prices and pose unnecessary risks to the nation’s food supply chain. . .

Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie delivered an especially scathing rebuke of the administration’s tariff waiver, calling for structural domestic reforms instead of foreign imports.

A Powerful Country on the Other Side of the World is Quietly Shaping Trump’s Latest Trade Fight

President Donald Trump’s latest trade fight with Canada has a faraway force at its center: China.

As Washington presses Ottawa to do more to prevent Chinese steel, aluminum and other goods from reaching the U.S. market through North American supply chains, Canada is pursuing renewed economic ties with Beijing, adding a fresh complication to already tense trade talks.

At the heart of the fight is transshipment — routing goods through an intermediary country, sometimes after limited processing, before they reach their final market. U.S. officials fear steel and aluminum made in China or elsewhere could be processed in Canada or Mexico and then enter the United States as regional content.

The U.S. and Canada addressed that risk in a 2019 joint statement resolving an earlier steel-and-aluminum tariff dispute. The countries agreed to prevent steel and aluminum made outside the U.S. or Canada from being transshipped into the other country, and said they could distinguish between steel melted and poured in North America and steel made elsewhere.

White House Makes Natalie Harp Disappear From Melania Video

Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, and his ever-present, always-smiling aide, Natalie Harp, both attended the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. But on the White House’s social media, the president’s blonde cheerleader was almost nowhere to be found.

Harp, 35, is paid $150,000 a year in her capacity as an aide to Trump, 80. She travels almost everywhere with him, sits in on most Oval Office meetings, and helps with his Truth Social posts.

Though she was visible in numerous photographs and videos taken at the Washington, D.C. event on Sunday, she didn’t make it into the official White House or First Lady-branded social content.

In a jerkily edited video set to frenzied strings and posted by the White House, the first lady, and the official Freedom 250 GP Instagram, the footage cycles through moments from the race, closely cropping the president and first lady while largely excluding everyone else. If Trump Wants To Reduce Beef Prices, He Should Help Struggling Farmers Grow Their Herds

While well-intentioned, President Trump’s plan to temporarily permit more foreign beef imports into America without paying higher tariffs will only exacerbate the long-term stock shortage in the cattle industry, and it will directly lead to higher long-term beef prices.

Trump announced Friday that the United States “will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of product for ground beef to be imported with no out of quota tariff” for the next 90 days, and that such product “will be sold at 25 percent below current market prices.” While touted by the president as an effort to reduce ground beef prices for American families, the policy shift was met with concerned pushback from lawmakers representing rural states responsible for U.S. cattle production.

Beef is a very cyclical industry, largely driven by the fact that it takes nine months to create a new calf, and another year or two (at a minimum) to bring it to market and process it. Because of the difficulty of predicting demand that far out, plus the difficulty of matching supply to that demand, we end up with big swings in prices in every five-to-10-year cycle.

Right now, we are at the price peak in the cycle. The only way to bring prices back down is to increase the supply, and that can only happen when farmers choose to retain cows to breed and grow the stock instead of selling them today. This is called heifer retention. When prices are high, farmers want to sell stock. When they’re low, farmers want to hold back the stock.

That’s the revenue side. Then there’s the cost side. Beef costs are driven by the three F’s: feed, fertilizer, and fuel. Right now, the costs of all three are through the roof. (Read more from “If Trump Wants To Reduce Beef Prices, He Should Help Struggling Farmers Grow Their Herds” HERE)
