Boston Dad Convicted of Sexually Abusing Teen Girl on Flight While Traveling with Wife and 4 Kids

A Boston dad has been convicted of repeatedly fondling a teen girl aboard a JetBlue flight.

Jonathan Alan Lefman, 48, was found guilty after a three-day jury trial of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl seated in front of him on a Boston-bound flight from Puerto Rico on Aug. 30, 2024, the US Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts announced on Thursday.

Lefman — who was on the plane with his wife and four kids — wedged his hand between the back and bottom of the seat in front of him to touch the girl’s buttocks without her permission, according to prosecutors.

The teen girl saw the creep dad’s reflection leaning between the seats in the seatback monitor in front of her, and was able to take a picture of his fingers protruding between the back and bottom of her seat, officials said.

DOJ Investigating Corey Lewandowski Over Alleged Profiteering At DHS

The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating allegations that former Trump administration official Corey Lewandowski used his government position for personal profit.

The Justice Department is examining allegations that Lewandowski profited off his top position at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), people familiar with the matter said, according to a Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report.

Lewandowski served as a top adviser to the Department of Homeland Security under former Secretary Kristi Noem until the two left their positions in March amid growing scrutiny over internal agency conflicts and spending decisions.

The inquiry is based on a referral from the DHS inspector general, which shared its findings about Lewandowski’s tenure at the department in recent days, according to the WSJ.

A DOJ spokesperson declined to comment on the story in response to an inquiry from the Daily Caller

The Caller also reached out to Lewandowski for comment. (Read more from “DOJ Investigating Corey Lewandowski Over Alleged Profiteering At DHS” HERE)

Ilhan Omar isn’t ‘Squad’ Rep’s Real Name as Feds’ Bombshell Docs give Huge Clue She did Marry Brother

The “real” name of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has been revealed in a federal court filing with an identical surname to that of her ex-husband — and rumored brother, The Post has learned.

Prosecutors referred to the Minnesota Democrat as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar,” in a Wednesday filing in DC federal court, which officials and legal experts said was indicative of the evidence compiled so far in an immigration fraud investigation into the “Squad” rep.

A source familiar with the investigation confirmed that Omar is not the congresswoman’s “real” last name, meaning she was born with the last name of Elmi, just like her alleged brother-husband. It’s unclear what charges could result from her purported use of an alias, which was first reported by Fox News.

Attorney General Todd Blanche also told The Post Thursday, “I don’t think [Assistant United States Attorneys] would make up names,” when asked about using the surname of her former spouse, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who has been rumored to be a blood relation for more than a decade.

“Evidence that’s collected is used in motions,” Blanche said.

Previously, prosecutors and legal experts indicated that the Department of Justice was seeking to bring an indictment alleging immigration fraud that would fall within a 10-year statute of limitations. Israel Lobby Quietly Shifts Political Operation To Super PAC Under New Name

AIPAC has announced its decision to discontinue directly endorsing and financially backing candidates — but the pro-Israel lobbying group appears to remain far from dormant.

The organization will cease directly endorsing and bankrolling candidates in that manner that it has been since 2021, the group announced on Wednesday. Instead, the group will be absorbed into its sister super PAC, the United Democracy Project PAC (UDP), according to Jewish Insider.

When asked for comment, AIPAC referred the DCNF to an email from the group’s leadership with the subject line “Announcing Changes; Building a Stronger Political Operation.”

“To win the fight for the future of the country and the U.S.-Israel alliance, we must build a more strategic, consequential, and nimble political operation,” the email states in part. “We will prioritize increasing direct, organized contributions from individual Americans to candidates — expanding upon our current efforts—and maximizing the emerging political fundraising tools. Endorsements, direct PAC contributions, and earmarking will no longer be part of our approach so we can expand individual giving and utilize new tools to help our friends win.”

“We believe this approach positions us to capitalize on new innovations and deliver even greater political impact to influence policy,” the email continues. “We will focus our time and resources on what is most effective —disciplined, organized giving directly to candidates by individual Americans — and on the ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment.”

Iran Claims It Hit Multiple Ships In Persian Gulf, Warns US Military Of Major Escalation

Iran claimed Thursday that it struck seven oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and near the Strait of Hormuz, warning that continued American military operations could trigger an expanded Iranian assault on U.S. military bases throughout the Middle East.

Four vessels allegedly caught fire after being simultaneously attacked in the northern Persian Gulf on Wednesday, while three additional ships reportedly struck naval mines west of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, Reuters reported. The claims, which have not been confirmed outside of Tehran, represent a potentially significant escalation in Iran’s ongoing campaign against commercial shipping.

“The forces pulling matters toward another round of war are much stronger than the forces pushing back,” Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Israel is dead set on another war, whereas Trump is oscillating between wanting an exit from the war and an impulse for revenge against the damage Iran has done to Trump’s presidency.”

“On paper, and increasingly in practice, the United States maintains a massive advantage, but in an asymmetric war situation such as this, even the far weaker power can exercise enormous influence,” J.D. Foster, former chief economist at the White House Office of Management and Budget and former chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, told the DCNF. “For examples, see Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. However, it is misleading to view the state of the conflict in military terms. The “front” in classical military terms is stagnant, relatively quiet, and increasingly irrelevant because the crux of the conflict now lies in the economic domain.”

The IRGC claimed its forces tracked four vessels allegedly conducting illegal ship-to-ship oil transfers before the vessels were simultaneously struck and caught fire, according to Reuters. Trump Signals More Iran Strikes — ‘We May Do It a Little Bit Further’

President Donald Trump warned Thursday that the United States may launch further strikes against Iran, as Washington and Israel prepare for a possible new offensive following the November midterm elections.

“We’ve knocked the hell out of them. And we may do it a little bit further,” Trump told reporters.

Asked how the war with Iran could affect the midterm elections, Trump acknowledged the political costs of military action but defended his decision to confront Tehran.

“One way, they love it because I’m doing what should have been done by other presidents. And another way, maybe they don’t. There’s a price to pay, which I knew immediately when I did it,” he said.

“But we can’t let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” Trump insisted.

Surgeon Claims ‘Botched’ Mar-a-Lago Face is Ultimate Status Symbol Despite Looking ‘Alien’

. . .The past few weeks the internet has bursted into conversation and commentary of the physical appearances of Susan Dell and Babera Thornhill. People have been slamming the appearance of the wife of Dell Technologies founder, 68, and the Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, 78, calling them “botched” and “alien.” They’re also been a host of memes and Halloween-theme content that has emerged as well.

Dell and Thornhill’s appearances, which compared to previous photos of them, indicate that work has been done on their faces. It has also has called into discussion the plastic surgery aesthetic among Republican and conservative women which has been dubbed the Mar-a-Lago face. Examples of the Mar-a-Lago face are Kimberly Guilofyle, Karoline Leavitt and Laura Loomer. The face can also apply to men as some people have named Matt Gaetz, as an example. . .

Dr. Terry Dubrow, plastic surgeon and TV personality known for being on reality shows like The Swan and Botched, spoke to Vanity Fair about the trend and the recent discussion involving the two philanthropists.

“It’s very fun, particularly when you’re on one political side or another, to aim your criticism weapon at them and say, ‘Oh, look how bad their plastic surgery is,'” the plastic surgeon told the outlet. “But it isn’t bad. From a technical point of view, it’s extraordinarily successful…. The plastic surgery is super well executed.”

Dubrow, who has his own private practice in California, said this particular type of noticeable aesthetic is the ultimate status symbol in certain “East Coast” circles. (Read more from “Surgeon Claims ‘Botched’ Mar-a-Lago Face is Ultimate Status Symbol Despite Looking ‘Alien’” HERE)

Ilhan Omar Gives Head-Scratching Response when Asked if She’s Related to Ex-Husband in First Interview Since DC Raid

By New York Post. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Wednesday called allegations that she married her brother “insane” – but didn’t entirely close the door to the possibility of being related to her ex-husband.

“Not to my knowledge,” Omar responded, when asked by MS NOW’s Chris Hayes if there was any “weird kernel of truth” to the claim that she wed her brother.

The decade-old allegations that Omar and her ex, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, got hitched in a failed effort to get him a green card originated on a “Somali blog,” and spread when “right-wing conspiracy theorists” latched onto it, Omar explained in her first interview since federal agents raided her Washington, DC, home last week.

“Somebody put in there that, you know, he had to have been my brother or something to that effect,” the Minnesota Democrat said.

According to Omar, bloggers “went and like found random people who are like .. ‘She introduced him to us and said he was her brother,’ which is, you know, insane.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Gives Head-Scratching Response when Asked if She’s Related to Ex-Husband in First Interview Since DC Raid” HERE)

Ilhan Omar finally emerges after DC raid with video pleading for cash to fight Trump

By Fox News. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., re-emerged Tuesday night for the first time following a raid on her Washington, D.C., residence by posting a campaign video to her official social media channels asking supporters for more money.

“Hi everyone, Ilhan here,” Omar said in a selfie video showing her riding in the back seat of a vehicle and wearing a blue campaign shirt. “I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support, to everyone who sent a note of support, for everyone who sent $5, $10, $20.”

Omar’s home in Washington, D.C., was raided by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) last Monday in connection to an investigation into potential immigration fraud. Authorities are probing whether Omar or her father lied on paperwork that helped her gain citizenship. Border czar Tom Homan has said that if the allegations are proven, Omar could be denaturalized.

She closed her video by pleading for more cash. “Please continue to support us. It’s going to be a very expensive and challenging time. So we appreciate whether you’re able to send $5, $10, $20. Thank you.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar finally emerges after DC raid with video pleading for cash to fight Trump” HERE)

Is Israel Gearing Up For Another Offensive?

By Daily Caller. A meeting with the U.S. Secretary of War, the cancellation of military leave and the arrest of draft dodgers might point to Israel preparing for another offensive against Iran.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers’ military leaves are being canceled, and a group of ultra-orthodox Jewish men were arrested for evading the draft. Additionally, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth quietly met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) referred the Daily Caller News Foundation to the Department of War which did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The Israeli government also did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

In preparation for Israel’s upcoming Oct. 27 election, the IDF was put on a high alert and service members’ leaves were frozen, the Times of Israel reported.

The IDF is “on the highest state of alert and will continue to maintain a high level of vigilance and readiness across all fronts,” IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told the outlet. Leave was frozen across IDF units, requiring soldiers to remain on base rather than taking planned leave, “subject to ongoing situational assessments.” (Read more from “Is Israel Gearing Up For Another Offensive?” HERE)

U.S. ramps up warnings to Americans in Middle East after Houthi strikes

By CBS News. U.S. diplomatic missions across the Middle East have issued a new round of security warnings to Americans amid escalating attacks by Iran-backed Houthi militants against Saudi Arabia, including an Oct. 10 strike on Riyadh’s international airport that killed an American citizen.

The alerts, issued Sunday by U.S. embassies in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries, warned that hostilities could rapidly and without warning spread beyond areas already affected by the fighting. The advisories urged Americans to exercise vigilance and prepare for possible flight cancellations, airspace closures and other travel disruptions.

“We are actively warning U.S. citizens about the very real threat the Houthis pose and urging them to heed official guidance,” Edgar Vasquez, the State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for press, told CBS News.

“These alerts are part of a proactive effort by the Trump administration to ensure Americans are aware of potential risks,” Vasquez said, adding that the safety and security of American citizens remain the department’s “top priority.”

The State Department has maintained restrictions on diplomatic operations across parts of the region since the U.S. and Israel went to war with Iran in February. State Department officials have said the restrictions are intended to be temporary and allow embassies to adjust staffing as security conditions evolve.
