Trump Offers Press Secretary Position To Dana White, Who Reportedly Declines
By Daily Caller.
President Donald Trump stated Saturday that he made a job offer to UFC boss Dana White to become the next White House press secretary. However, according to a report from CNN, he has declined.
While at his Florida golf club, the president took to social media and said that he offered “the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior” to be his chief spokesperson.
Trump stated that he made the request to White to bring multiple UFC fighters to be “assistants,” saying, “We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!”
A response wasn’t issued Saturday by the White House to inquiries regarding Trump’s post on Truth Social. However, CNN is reporting, citing a source familiar with the situation, that White declined the offer.
Update: Dana White has since declined, according to a CNN report.
