2020 Poll Does Not Have Good News for Trump
The survey, published Sunday, found that Trump would lose to both former Vice President Joe Biden — who has yet to formally announce a presidential campaign, although he is expected to enter the race — and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who narrowly lost the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016.
The poll found that Trump trails Biden by seven percentage points among registered voters, 47 percent to 40 percent. Similarly, Trump tails Sanders by three percentage points, 44 percent to 41 percent.
Additionally, the poll found Trump would only narrowly beat the leading female Democratic candidates, Sens. Kamala Harris (Calif.) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), defeating them each by just two percentage points. Unfortunately for Trump, those numbers are within the poll’s margin of error.
