Transgender Female Takes First Place in Women’s Cycling Event; Contestants in Second Place, Third Place Are All Smiles
A transgender female took first place in a women’s cycling event in New York City over the weekend, the National Desk reported.
Tiffany Thomas — a member of the Los Angeles-based women’s cycling group L.A. Sweat — stood atop the middle podium as the winner of the Randall’s Island Crit, the outlet said.
The second- and third-place finishers in the photo with Thomas were all smiles in defeat:
. . .A critic of transgender women competing against biological female cyclists tweeted about Thomas last month:
Tiffany Thomas has been on countless podiums, going from a total beginner to the elite level in just 5 years.#SaveWomensSports pic.twitter.com/MFe0qJAIS0
