Jewish Miami Man Shoots Two Israelis While ‘Hunting Palestinians’
A 27-year-old Jewish man in Miami was arrested over the weekend for shooting two Israelis, whom he mistook for Palestinians. Mordechai Brafman, 27, was taken into custody on Saturday night and is facing two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Brafman was reportedly ‘hunting Palestinians’ when he opened fire on a car containing two men. He shot at the vehicle 17 times with a semi-automatic handgun, according to the arrest report.
However, police reported that the victims were actually two Jewish-Israelis visiting the U.S. The victims, Ari Rabey, and his father, initially believed they were being targeted in an antisemitic attack.
One man was wounded in the shoulder, while the other sustained a graze wound on the forearm. Brafman, described by the Israeli outlet Ynet as a “Florida Jew,” was arrested shortly after the attack.
Authorities stated that there was no altercation between Brafman and the two victims prior to the shooting and believe it was entirely unprovoked. (Read more from “Jewish Miami Man Shoots Two Israelis While ‘Hunting Palestinians’” HERE)
