Trump Goes After ‘Moron’ Massie at National Prayer Breakfast
President Trump referred to Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) as a “moron” at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington on Thursday.
“He’s an automatic no. No matter what,” Trump said, referencing Massie’s opposition to past legislation pushed by the president and other Republicans.
“If we did welfare reform, if we did the greatest thing in the history for religion, no matter what we did, no matter how good it is,” he continued. “No matter what we do, this moron, no matter what it is.”
“We’ll put [the top five things] in one bill,” he said. “We’ll get a 100 percent vote, except for this guy named Thomas Massie. There’s something wrong with him. We call him Rand Paul Jr.”
GOP Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) also frequently opposes legislation bolstered by Republicans. (Read more from “Trump Goes After ‘Moron’ Massie at National Prayer Breakfast” HERE)
