As the readers of this site well know, we were not Mitt Romney fans. However, he was the choice we were left with, and it was incumbent upon us all to call a truce with reality. And while we have duly criticized Romney’s shortcomings as a candidate, the withering assault coming from his own camp is a sickening display of duplicity and disloyalty. So in the spirit of good will, we are posting the official defense of the candidate written by his chief strategist.
