Hobbyists Fear ‘UFO’ Shot Down by US Military Might Have Been One of Their Balloons

Balloon enthusiasts in Illinois fear one of the unidentified objects shot down by the United States military near Alaska on Feb. 11 was one of their own.

The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade, a group of hobbyists ranging from 11-years-old and up, is missing a balloon. While the group is not making any accusations, it fears the U.S. military shot it down, Aviation Week reported. The brigade’s silver coated “pico balloon”, which it had been tracking via ham radio, disappeared mysteriously off the west coast of Alaska the same day an F-22 shot down an unidentified object in the same area, the outlet stated.

Far from having nefarious purposes, the balloon brigade’s hobby involves the enthusiasts tracking a balloon’s movement as it makes its way across the country and sometimes even the world. The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade boasts 25 balloons, eight of which crossed the nation and three that almost spanned the globe. To do this, the club uses inexpensive pico balloons, ranging in cost from $12-180, and tether it with a GPS tracking device, the outlet stated. From there, the balloon broadcasts its position through HF and VHF/UHF radio links using amateur radio software known as WSPR, the outlet stated. US Troops Wounded in Operation to Take Out ISIS Leader

An explosion wounded four U.S. Army troops and a working dog during an operation that resulted in the death of a senior Islamic State leader, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement Friday.

A helicopter raid Thursday evening, conducted with Syrian Democratic Forces partner militia in northeastern Syria, killed Hamza al-Homsi, whose role CENTCOM did not specify but served in a senior position in the ISIS terrorist organization, according to a statement. The injured servicemembers and military working dog are receiving treatment at a medical facility in Iraq, the statement said.

“An explosion on target resulted in four U.S. servicemembers and one working dog wounded,” CENTCOM said, adding that the targeted leader was killed. . .

In a Feb. 10 raid, coalition forces killed Ibrahim Al Qahtani, a senior ISIS leader who helped execute prison breaks of militants sympathetic to the terrorist organization in Syria.

Medical Expert: COVID Vaccine Brings Higher Heart Risk, Little Benefit to Young Men

Young men face an elevated risk of heart inflammation after getting vaccinated for COVID, a virus that poses very little threat to them in the first place, a top medical expert told The Daily Wire Friday.

Speaking on the “Morning Wire” podcast, Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and an oncology surgeon at the school’s affiliated hospital, noted a recent study from Cedars Sinai found a disturbing 30% increase in heart attack deaths among adults between the ages of 25 and 44 during the first two years of the COVID pandemic. One theory holds that the uptick could be the result of COVID itself, while another places blame on the vaccine. Makary said there is evidence for the latter.

“We did not see the uptake before the vaccine was rolled out, but, young people were primarily affected around that same time as well,” he said. “The state of Florida did their own study, looking at heart attacks after the vaccine in particular, and found that there was an 81% increase in sudden death from heart attacks in the months following the vaccine compared to baseline rates. So many people do believe that the vaccine is one of the causes of heart problems in young people.”

Although the federal government and pharmaceutical industry initially downplayed or even denied it, the vaccine has increasingly been linked to myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart. Makary said myocarditis appears most prevalent after the second dose of the vaccine. He noted that parts of Europe, unlike the U.S., have discouraged giving the second dose to young, healthy people. . .

According to Makary, all the data suggests it may be a bad idea for young healthy adults, especially males, to get the vaccine. Young males between 16 and 30 have a higher risk of myocarditis than their female peers by a factor of nine to one, he said. ‘Trust the Government’ EPA Chief Tells Worried Ohio Residents (VIDEO)

The head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) went to the scene of the freight train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, on Thursday and told the community he was from the government and was there to help in the wake of the disaster.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan saw a creek that still reeks of carcinogenic chemicals following the toxic train derailment in the town earlier this month. He sought to reassure skeptical locals the water is fit for drinking and the air safe to breathe in surrounds where just under 5,000 people make their homes near the Pennsylvania state line.

“I’m asking they trust the government. I know that’s hard. We know there’s a lack of trust,” Regan said, according to AP “We’re testing for everything that was on that train.”

Regan’s visit came in the wake of Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) who discovered what appeared to be residual contamination in the water of a creek in the same area, as Breitbart News reported.

“So I’m here at Leslie Run, and there’s dead worms and dead fish all throughout this water,” Vance said in a video posted to his Twitter account on Thursday. “Something I just discovered is that if you scrape the creek bed, it’s like chemical is coming out of the ground.”

Pathetic! Papa Pete Blames Trump for East Palestine Disaster

CLAIM: U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg is blaming former President Donald Trump for the train disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, claiming, “we’re constrained by law on some areas of rail regulation,” and citing a “braking rule” that was withdrawn under the Trump administration.

VERDICT: False.

While it is true that in 2018 the Department of Transportation (DOT) withdrew a proposed rule requiring trains carrying certain dangerous chemicals to use electronically controlled pneumatic (ECP) brakes, this rule would not have applied to the train that derailed in East Palestine on February 3.

In addressing the train derailment on Tuesday, Buttigieg claimed, “We’re constrained by law on some areas of rail regulation,” and cited “the braking rule withdrawn by the Trump administration in 2018 because of a law passed by Congress in 2015.” (Read more from “Pathetic! WATCH: Canadian Military Orders Podcaster to Delete Episodes With Sniper Who Criticized Vaccine Mandates

The Canadian military has demanded that a US podcaster delete episodes of his podcast in which a former Canadian sniper reveals sensitive information and speaks out against the country’s COVID vaccine mandate.

Shawn Ryan, an ex-Navy SEAL, was sent a cease and desist letter last week after airing an interview with former Canadian counterterrorism sniper Dallas Alexander disclosing that he made the 2.2-mile record-breaking shot that killed an ISIS fighter in 2017.

The podcaster also published a classified video of the killing, which the military said was never authorized for public release.

The Canadian military demanded that the two-episode interview be taken down across all social media platforms in the interest of national security.

“[Y]our podcast series contained information or material that has been properly classified and protected, and which is sensitive information such that its public release is injurious to Canadian national security, national deference, and international relations,” the letter, shared by Ryan on social media, stated.

Georgia Police Officer Who Wrote ‘God Designed Marriage’ Was Forced Out Over Christian Beliefs, Attorneys Say

Attorneys representing a former Georgia police officer who expressed his Christian beliefs on social media say he was forced out of his job because of religious discrimination.

Port Wentworth Police Officer Jacob Kersey resigned in January after being told by his supervisors he could be terminated for sharing his religious views on marriage.

Kersey, 19, was placed on paid administrative leave following his refusal to take down a Facebook post from two days earlier in which he paraphrased the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus.

“God designed marriage. Marriage refers to Christ and the church. That’s why there is no such thing as homosexual marriage,” he wrote.

According to attorneys with First Liberty Institute in Plano, Texas, Kersey was given a letter of notification that warned him he could be fired if he posted any more “offensive” content on social media. US Navy Ends Ridiculous COVID-19 Vaccine Restrictions

The U.S. Navy lifted its deployment restrictions on sailors who are not vaccinated against COVID-19.

A NAVADMIN released Thursday announced the end of considering vaccination status when deploying sailors. The announcement is in line with the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.

“Commanders should seek advice from medical providers regarding medical readiness of personnel to inform deployment and other operational mission decisions,” NAVADMIN 38/23 said. “COVID-19 vaccination status shall not be a consideration in assessing individual service member suitability for deployment or other operational missions.”

Epstein and Top Banker Traded Thousands of Emails and Photos of Young Women

Emails unearthed by a lawsuit reveal that the former CEO of one of the world’s biggest banks exchanged some 1,200 emails with Jeffrey Epstein, some including photos of young women, revealing an intimate personal relationship with the accused sex trafficker that goes back years.

The former executive in question is Jes Staley, previously CEO of Barclays. The lawsuit, filed by the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands against another one of Staley’s former employers, JPMorgan, alleges that JPMorgan “knowingly facilitated, sustained, and concealed the human trafficking network” Epstein operated.

The lawsuit shows that Epstein and Staley emailed each other hundreds of times, even after Epstein was put under home confinement in 2009 for soliciting a minor for prostitution. In that case, the lawsuit alleges that Staley was presumably relaxing at Epstein’s private island known as “Little St. James” while Epstein was confined to his home in Florida.

“So when all hell breaks [loose], and the world is crumbling, I will come here, and be at peace. Presently, I’m in the hot tub with a glass of white wine. This is an amazing place. Truly amazing. Next time, we’re here together. I owe you much. And I deeply appreciate our friendship. I have few so profound,” Staley wrote, according to the Financial Times. . .

Epstein followed up the next day by sending Staley a picture of a young woman, which was redacted in the court documents. Poll: Donald Trump Holds Lead Over Crowded GOP Primary Field

Former President Donald Trump leads a potentially crowded Republican primary field by six points, according to a national poll.

The Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows that a 42 percent plurality of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters back Trump in a field that featured many candidates. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) remains Trump’s closest potential competitor, receiving 36 percent of the response, followed by former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC), who launched her candidacy for president on Wednesday, at five percent.

Four percent of the 592 Republicans and leaners included in the sample support former Vice President Mike Pence, and another four percent back former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) both garner two percent of support, while one percent would vote for Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who is reportedly “taking steps to run for president.”

In a field of just Trump, DeSantis, Haley, and Pence, the 45th president registers at 43 percent of support while DeSantis climbs to 41 percent.
