Supreme Court Makes Last-minute Ruling About Title 42

The U.S. Supreme Court issued a stay on a lower court’s ruling to keep Title 42 in place right before it was supposed to be lifted on Wednesday. The Biden administration has until 5 p.m. Tuesday to respond the Court’s decision.

“This is purely administrative at this point, not on the merits,” Fox News Chief Legal Correspondent Shannon Bream noted about the decision.

Title 42 is the public health order that has been in place since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic that allowed Border Patrol agents to quickly expel illegal immigrants to prevent transmission of the virus in holding facilities. The Biden administration was also prevented from removing Title 42 at the last minute in May after a lawsuit was brought by Republicans. Landslide at Campground Leaves 16 Dead, 17 Missing

A landslide Friday at a tourist campground in Malaysia left 16 people dead and authorities said 17 others were feared buried at the site on an organic farm outside the capital of Kuala Lumpur.

An estimated 94 Malaysians were believed to have been at the campsite in Batang Kali in central Selangor state, around 31 miles north of Kuala Lumpur, when the incident occurred, said district police chief Suffian Abdullah.

He said the death toll has risen to 16, including a five-year-old boy. Seven people have been hospitalized with injuries and rescuers were searching for the estimated 17 missing people, he said. Another 53 people were rescued without harm.

Suffian said the victims had entered the area, a popular recreational site for locals to pitch or rent tents from the farm, on Wednesday. TSA Reports Record Number of Gun Interceptions at US Airports

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers said Friday the agency intercepted a record number of firearms at airport security checkpoints this year, a nearly 10% increase over 2021’s record level.

Officials reported the agency stopped 6,301 firearms from crossing through secure areas of airports since the beginning of 2022 and anticipates detaining approximately 300 more before the new year. Of those firearms, more than 88% were loaded, the agency said.

The number of firearm interceptions surpassed the previous record of 5,972 firearms detected in 2021.

“I applaud the work of our Transportation Security Officers who do an excellent job of preventing firearms from getting into the secure area of airports, and onboard aircraft,” TSA Administrator David Pekoske said in a news release. “Firearms are prohibited in carry-on bags at the checkpoint and onboard aircraft.”

Although firearm possession laws vary by state and local government, passengers are prohibited from carrying guns in carry-on bags at any TSA security checkpoint, even if a passenger has a concealed weapon permit. However, the agency says passengers may travel with a firearm — but it must be unloaded and locked in a hard-sided container and transported as checked baggage only and declared each time they present it for transport as checked baggage. Elon Musk May Step Down as the Head of Twitter

Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted Sunday that he would step down as the head of the social media platform if a poll that he launched shows a majority of users want him out.

“Should I step down as head of Twitter?” Musk asked. “I will abide by the results of this poll.”

After less than 30 minutes, the poll had already garnered two million votes with 55% voting, “yes.”

Armed Amazon Employee Stops Shooter Who Opened Fire at Arizona Facility’

An armed Arizona man is being credited as a “good Samaritan” by police after he shot an active shooter in an Amazon facility parking lot, likely preventing further bloodshed.

Police in Chandler, Arizona, say that 29-year-old Jacob Murphy pulled into the employee parking lot of an Amazon facility on Wednesday morning and opened fire after jumping out of his car,” KSAZ-TV reported.

Murphy, police said in a statement, did not work at Amazon but had “jealousy issues” regarding his girlfriend, who worked at the facility but was not present at the time.

Police say that Murphy intended to locate an unknown male worker at the facility whom he only knew by first name. When Murphy attempted to enter the facility, he was stopped by a worker who noticed that it was “strange” for Murphy to be there. Murphy shot that worker multiple times after an argument ensued.

Trump Likens US to ‘Person Dying of Cancer’ in Fiery Tirade Against FBI

Former President Donald Trump likened the current outlook of the United States to a “person dying of cancer” in a scathing Truth Social post about the FBI.

Talking about Friday’s fresh revelations from the Twitter Files that the social media giant had “constant and pervasive” communications with the bureau, Trump declared that such “thugs and Tyrants must be dealt with,” or else, the country could meet its demise.

“Our Country is SICK inside, very much like a person dying of Cancer. The Crooked FBI, the so-called Department of ‘Justice,’ and ‘Intelligence,’ all parts of the Democrat Party and System, is the Cancer. These Weaponized Thugs and Tyrants must be dealt with, or our once great and beautiful Country will die!!!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.

On Friday, journalist Matt Taibbi revealed that the FBI often flagged content for Twitter to review for content moderation purposes and underscored that there had been over 150 emails between the bureau and former Twitter trust and safety chief Yoel Roth between January 2020 to November 2022. At one point, Twitter executives had near weekly meetings with law enforcement officials, the journalist noted. ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race’ Star: ‘F**k Family,’ ‘We Need To Reinvent It’

Miz Cracker, a contestant on two seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has put out a clarion call to “kick down traditional family values” this Christmas season.

Cracker, the stage name of drag queen performer Maxwell Eiias Heller, is starring in Who’s Holiday!, a new show that turns the Dr. Seuss character Cindy Lou Who into a “hard-drinking, pill-popping, very experienced woman” who hates family Christmas gatherings.

The sentiment in the anti-Christmas stage show — being presented in London, U.K., this December and January — mirrors how the radical drag queen feels.

“To say that Christmas is about traditional values or values of any kind anymore is pretty ridiculous,” Heller told PinkNews. “Christ is nowhere featured in this. In America, if you look at the way people knock down the doors of shopping centers, I think you can tell that we have separated Christmas from Christ.”

Aside from that bit of social commentary, Miz Cracker is not above knocking Christ out of Christmas himself, either, especially when it comes to holiday gatherings. Let’s Talk About Joe Biden’s Millionth Embarrassing Gaffe

It wouldn’t be a speech without President Joe Biden embarrassing himself and the rest of the Democrat Party.

In Biden’s latest dementia-fueled claims, he got several things wrong.

First, he confused First Lady Jill Biden’s father for her grandfather, then he claimed his uncle received the Purple Heart, and then exaggerated trips he took to Afghanistan and Iraq.

On top of all of that, Biden belittled the Irish culture.

‘Dedicated’ Alaska Officer ‘Tragically Killed’ After Being Attacked by Muskox Outside His Home

A court services officer with the Alaska State Troopers died on Tuesday after being attacked by a muskox outside of his home.

“We are deeply saddened to report that one of our own, Court Services Officer Curtis Worland, was tragically killed during a muskox attack near Nome earlier today,” the Alaska State Troopers wrote in a social media tribute.

Worland was “attempting to haze a group of muskox from near his dog kennel at his home when one of the muskox attacked him,” according to a news release from the authorities. He was declared dead at the scene.
